Reclaim The Sea is Out Now!

[p]After years of development, I am delighted to announce that Reclaim the Sea is now available (with a 20% launch discount)![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]I spent the last few weeks of development extensively testing the game to fine-tune the balance and try to find every last bug, but it's inevitable that some may have slipped through. If you encounter any, please report them (if possible via the feedback tool built into the game).[/p][p]As for the future, I plan to continue updating the game for a while, starting with fixing anything that could hinder the gaming experience: bugs first, then improving the user experience and then balancing (if necessary). I already have quite a few ideas for adding new content to the game (events and ship items), but that will also depend on your feedback on Discord, on the Steam discussions, or elsewhere. I intend to develop the game based on player feedback, so please feel free to give me your opinion on the game or on a specific aspect of it![/p][p]If you like the game, please spread the word to your friends, your favorite streamers, etc.! Reclaim the Sea will be available on July 14, 2025

[p][/p][p]18 months after releasing the first demo of the game on Steam, I am thrilled to announce that the full game will be available on July 14.[/p][p]
Thanks to extensive feedback from players and content creators, many aspects of the game have been gradually improved since the first demo, which was already very well received.[/p][p]
The full version of the game will allow you to explore all zones up to the final zone and unlock all available ships.[/p][p][/p][p]After release, I plan to continue updating the game, starting with patches to fix any bugs that may have appeared and improve the gaming experience, then adding new waves of content to the game, with ideas that were not included in v1.0 and ideas suggested by the community.[/p]

0.17 update

Another small patch for the demo while I continue to focus on crafting all the content for the full version of the game.

🌟 New:
Slightly increase the base speed of the game (the 1x speed). You can still set the game to 2x or 4x when you need to speed things a lot. ⚑
New weapons
New ship augmentations
New ship augmentation types: hull wood modification and crew body armors
Makeshift repairs: in case of emergency, you can now repair your ship outside of shops, at the cost of an important amount of wood. ⚑

βš– Balance:
Increased the max number of ship augmentations for all ships.
Adjusted most quest wood / gold rewards

Added middle mouse button as another way of toggling pause, to improve the mouse-only handling.
Added colors to the crew slots on the room panels to hint required and useful crew members.

🐞 Bugfix:
Saved boarding enemies as crew members
Fixed extinguish animation looping too fast
Fixed using keyboard arrows while renaming crew in the harbour causing the ship to change.
