Damned 2 Early Access is Live!
Hey Everyone!
[p][/p][p]After years of development, feedback, and sleepless nights, we're beyond excited (and a little terrified) to finally say it:[/p][p][/p]
🎉Damned 2 is officially out in Early Access!🎉

[p]We’re the same indie team behind the original Damned (2014), and we’re proud to bring you a brand-new take on asymmetrical horror.[/p][p]In Damned 2, a group of 4 survivors must escape from a terrifying location while being hunted by 1 powerful monster — controlled by another player or AI. Your only tools are your wits, teamwork, and whatever you can find scattered throughout the map. Explore dark, cursed environments, solve puzzles, unlock doors, and stay one step ahead of the creature stalking you.[/p][p]Each match is different thanks to randomized puzzles, key locations, and item placement — making survival not just about skill, but adaptation and communication. Whether you're creeping down the halls of an abandoned hotel or sprinting through a creepy mortuary, danger is always just around the corner.[/p][p][/p]
What’s included in the Early Access launch:
• [p]Nine fully playable maps.[/p]
 • [p]Three deadly monsters: Lurker, Mary, and Blight![/p]
 • [p]Eight unique puzzles, key randomization, and procedural item placement.[/p]
 • [p]Online multiplayer with voice chat.[/p]
 • [p]Original Soundtrack by Matt Collins (composer of Damned 1).[/p][p][/p]
[p]And most importantly… chaos.[/p][p][/p][p]We'll be sharing our roadmap soon, and your feedback will help shape what's next.[/p][p][/p]
Why your voice matters
[p]We're a tiny indie team — just two people — and this game wouldn’t exist without the support and passion of our community. This Early Access phase is a crucial time for us. Your bug reports, gameplay feedback, balance suggestions, and crazy ideas are incredibly valuable to help us refine the experience.[/p][p]So please, dive in, test the game, break things, and tell us what you find![/p]
 • [p]Chat with us directly on Discord and in the Community Hub[/p]
 • [p]Share clips, tag us, and spread the word[/p]
 • [p]Leave a review if you’re enjoying the experience[/p]
[p][/p]
Thank you ❤️
[p]From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who’s followed this project, tested it, sent us feedback, shared excitement, or just cheered us on. We're building Damned 2 alongside you, and we can't wait to see what you'll do with it.[/p][p]See you… in the dark. 🔦[/p][p]— Daniel & Henrique

Damned 2 Final Playtest Announcement!
Hello Everyone!
[p][/p][p]We are excited to finally announce our final playtest before Early Access![/p][p]The playtest will take place from July 3rd to July 7th, and you’ll be able to try out new maps, meet the new survivors, explore new mechanics, and what you've all been waiting for… The Blight![/p][p][/p][p]The Blight is now among us! Ready to lunge and leap, survivors must now be extra weary of their surroundings, all while slowly unlocking their escape. Able to manipulate and absorb light from the environment (yes, even your flashlights!), the Blight is a monster that preys on the one thing you treasure most - light. Survivors must now be extra careful, as their reprieve now fuels the Blight in various ways.[/p][p][/p][p]But to face this new, fearsome entity, are two new survivors.
Meet Mother Lucy and Mac![/p][p][/p][p]A close friend of our beloved Father John (Damned 1), Mother Lucy joins the survivors to search for clues about her dear friend’s mysterious disappearance. What happened to John at Rose Crimson then, 13 years ago? Will Mother Lucy find the answers to her many questions? Bearer of the Light, Mother Lucy is a clever and courageous woman - afraid of no demon, she is ready to light the path for fellow survivors in their quest for truth.[/p][p][/p][p]Mac - short for MacAllister - joins his friends Lily and Lucas along accompanying survivors in the nightmare. Other than yearning for munchies, Mac steps out of his comfort zone in his pursuit of answers relating to his father, the illegal scientific experiments he got involved in, and the letters Mac had recently started receiving in his name.[/p][p][/p][p]This playtest also introduces a brand-new map: [/p][p]The Ashen Mortuary.[/p][p][/p][p]The Ashen Mortuary is a towering building, housing dozens of valuable pottery and vases, rumored to store stashed goods from previous survivors, but beware… the darkness hears everything. Explore the old, decrepit mortuary slow and steady, and watch your step, as you wouldn't want to fall with no railing![/p][p][/p][p]And before we end this announcement, we want to thank our amazing community for helping us turn Damned 2 into a worthy successor to the pioneer of the asymmetrical horror genre - as a token of appreciation, everyone who joins the playtest will receive a exclusive player Banner. [/p][p][/p][p]join this upcoming Damned 2 playtest and receive access to the exclusive Crash Test Banner (made available on launch), symbolizing your bravery in testing and reporting the most terrifying bugs that haunt developers and players alike in multiplayer games. Seriously, bug-fixing has us feeling Damned in real life sometimes.[/p][p][/p][p] Introducing: the Crash Test Banner![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]See you in the final playtest! [/p]

Damned 2 Update - 0.6.0000

Hello everyone!

A new update for Damned 2 is now live. This patch introduces the UV Light mode, which allows survivors to reveal hidden messages and destroy traps. A new puzzle, Oracle’s Gemstone, has been added along with two new maps, Clandestine Hospital and The Great Vault. Various gameplay improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes have also been implemented.

We are continuing to expand the UV Light mechanics and will be adding more interactions in future updates. Our focus will now shift to implementing the two remaining survivors and the new monster.
