Mariana Islands Map Update
Coming soon!
[p]We’re continuing to improve the Mariana Islands map with enhanced textures, more accurate landmarks, airfield usability, and smoother performance. This update increases immersion across the map, and it brings technical fixes for more stable low-level, high-speed flights.[/p][p]We’re adding new 3D objects across Saipan and Guam, including Mount Carmel Cathedral, the Saipan Japanese Lighthouse, and the Northern Mariana Islands Museum of History and Culture. These will bring more character and realism to both urban and coastal areas. At Andersen Air Force Base, the Mobility Command Operations Terminal, and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting buildings will be fully modeled for greater realism. Many structures will feature destroyed-state models to provide more convincing battle damage. We’re also improving building collision models to solve stuttering when flying near them. [/p][p]We’re also added new natural visual reference landmarks such as Bird Island and Fouha Rock along the coastline. The cliffs on Pagan, Guam, and Saipan will have improved geometry and detail to enhance shoreline realism.[/p][p]Our terrain team is improving all of the map’s airfields. The terrain mesh ‘steps’ at Andersen AFB will be gone, allowing smoother taxi operations. Airfield signage at Saipan International will be more accurate, and we’re fixing and expanding PAPI and VASI lighting at more airfields. Taxiways and ground markings will also be improved for better visibility during approach, landing, and taxiing.[/p][p]The environment will have better seabed textures, improved cliff faces, more detailed roads, and smoother shoreline transitions. These changes will make the map more consistent from the air and add realism for low-level flying while maintaining improved performance.[/p][p]All these updates will contribute to improving the Mariana Islands experience, bringing more realism, smoother performance, and better mission immersion. Coming soon to DCS in a future update![/p]

DCS: Iraq Development Report
Progress continues on DCS: Iraq!

DCS: Iraq North Map
[p]Work continues on the DCS: Iraq North Map as part of an upcoming update, with a strong focus on improving realism, landmark detail, and airfield authenticity.[/p][p]Many airfields have received significant upgrades, including Al-Kut, Al-Taji, Al-Asad, Al-Sahra, Al-Salam, Al-Taquddum, Qayyarah, Kirkuk, Sulaimaniyah, Balad, Mosul, H2, H3, and K-1. These updates incorporate layout refinements, improved surroundings, and better integration with surrounding terrain and locations.[/p][p][/p][p]Several new dams and other distinctive terrain features and recognizable geography will be added. These include Alwand, Fallujah, Haditha, Hemrin, the Diyala Weir, Kut Barrage, and Ramadi Barrage. Many of these locations were key strategic points during operations in Iraq. For example, in 2003, the Battle of Haditha Dam took place with the goal of capturing and protecting the dam from destruction by Iraqi forces. It was key to Baghdad’s power network, and its destruction could have caused major flooding along the Tigris River Valley.[/p][p]To further enhance regional identity, several new, distinctive objects have been introduced, including the Erbil Martyrs Monument, the Qayyarah Control Tower, the Al-Rahman Mosque, the Al-Asad Fire Station, and additional bespoke structures. Alongside these additions, we continue to apply broad improvements to scenes and textures across Northern Iraq to raise overall visual consistency and detail.[/p]
DCS: Iraq South Map
[p]Development has now shifted significantly toward the DCS: Iraq South Map, which is currently the focus area of DCS: Iraq map development.[/p][p]Work is progressing across all core elements, including airfields, cities, road networks, and terrain building. This phase represents the foundation of the southern region, with large-scale layout, infrastructure placement, and environmental work underway to support future detailing and refinement.[/p][p]We look forward to sharing more as DCS: Iraq South Map continues to take shape and DCS: Iraq North Map moves closer to its next update. New DCS Update
Dear Fighter Pilots, Partners and Friends,
[p]With the holiday break behind us, DCS development has resumed with our first update of 2026. This release includes a wide range of core, module, and campaign improvements that cover weapons, DTC and general tuning. The DCS: F-16C, DCS: AH-64D, DCS: F/A-18C, and other modules received well-deserved updates to their avionics, weapons, and manuals. Campaign creators continued to refine their work based on testing and community feedback. Highlights are below, and the full changelog is available here.[/p][p]We’re hosting a DCS: C-130J livery contest in partnership with Airplane Simulation Company and WINCTRL. The top ten submissions will be integrated into DCS, and each creator will be credited by name in the official manual. The top three liveries will receive even more exciting prizes, and as a twist, we have a challenge for the talented artists in the DCS community! Details below![/p][p]The Grayflag server delivers a persistent DCS multiplayer experience where player actions shape the battlefield. Campaigns evolve as territory is captured or lost, supply lines are built or disrupted, and front lines shift through teamwork and coordinated operations, and not isolated sorties.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for your passion and support.

New Update
DCS 2.9.24.19998
[p][/p][p]As we and our 3rd party partners return from the holiday break, work has resumed on the DCS Core, modules, and campaign fixes. In this first update of 2026 you will also find a number of weapon fixes, and DTC tweaks and fixes. The DCS: F-16C, DCS: AH-64D, DCS: F/A-18C, and other aircraft got some much-deserved avionics, weapons, and manual ajustments and improvements. And not to be outdone, our Campaign Creators were busy improving their products based on testing and valuable customer feedback. Read the highlights below, and check out the full changelog here.[/p]
DCS Core
[p]Weapon fuze behavior and submunition performance continues to be refined in the DCS Core that includes improved bombsight accuracy for dispensers with altimeter fuzes. The AB-250 and AB-500 cluster bombs get new bomblet fuze settings. AB-250 dispersion is corrected when carrying SD-2. The SD-2 receives updated fuze logic and adjusted warhead parameters. New fuze options have been added for the CBU-52 and M117, and he SAB-100/SAB-250 sequence is reworked with new fuze selections. [/p][p]This update also addresses DTC GUI errors that cause empty Threat Tables, including those that occur after using the delete command. It fixes invisible static objects and resolves DCS-specific issues: Arrow navigation in the Airdrome tab, steerpoint highlighting on the map, and airfield-tab highlighting. [/p]
DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum by Eagle Dynamics
[p]The DCS: MiG-29A update delivers a mix of stability improvements and avionics refinements that includes a crash fix tied to AEKRAN, corrections to canopy jettison handle behavior, and corrections to the Attitude Director Indicator (ADI) geometry. Russian localization is now available for single missions. The Infrared Search and Track (IRST) system has been improved with corrected target lock and display cues in Close Combat (CC) mode, improved scanning in CC mode, and new Optical-Tactical Symbology (OPT, known as NOLA) for gun and rocket targeting. The SPO-15 radar warning receiver gains more flexible Mission Editor failure options and new Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) control over launch-warning logic. Broader database updates address tracking radar behavior and adding missing radar definitions for the Ropucha landing ship and Tu-95MS bomber.
[/p]
DCS: F/A-18C by Eagle Dynamics
[p]The DCS: F/A-18C update fixes IR Maverick tracking issues caused by terrain objects or behaving unpredictably when tracking trains (both scenery and player-placed). The update also improves bombing accuracy by correcting the centre aim point for AUTO and CCIP when multiple bombs are released. Finally, a DTC-related issue was resolved: Failing to load the DTC could invalidate the Cue and Guard radio frequencies.
[/p]
DCS: AH-64D by Eagle Dynamics
[p]The DCS: AH-64D has received an update to George AI, the helicopter's crew assistance system and its Fire Control Radar (FCR). The update provides clearer target identification (ID) labels, an improved George AI Target List display, and fixes issues when selecting and engaging multiple targets. This update also improves the AI Pilot Auto Handover option that results in smoother pilot-in-command transitions. Additional fixes address problems with the radar display, the Mission Editor Night Vision Goggle (NVG) setting retention, and the engine LOCKOUT/FLY mode recovery issue. The update adds an FCR Terrain Profile Mode (TPM) section to the manual. Other manual additions include instruction on the Player-as-CoPilot/Gunner (CPG) and Player-as-Pilot George AI sections, and the “Consent To Fire” command has been revised to a more accurately named "Multifunctional Input (Center)".
