[/p][p]We learned by translating documentation, reverse-engineering examples, [/p][p]and experimenting late into the night. One small step at a time, we taught ourselves everything.[/p][p]We stumbled. We almost gave up—more than once. [/p][p]But through every setback, your encouragement pulled us forward.[/p][p]Now, here we are. Not at the finish line, but proudly at the midpoint. [/p][p]And that’s something we owe entirely to you.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][p][/p][h3]“Now Is the Time to Polish, Not Expand”[/h3][p]That quote came from one of you, and it hit us hard.[/p][p]You’re right. It’s not about stuffing in more content—it’s about refining what we have. We’re not abandoning new content, but we are shifting our focus. We want each system to feel robust and meaningful before adding more.[/p][p]We want to make something that doesn’t just end, but endures. Something global. Something real.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]So We Made a Big Decision[/h3][p]To do all this—to rebuild, refine, and grow—we needed more than time. We needed resources. Early Access alone wasn’t enough.[/p][p]So, I made a personal choice: I took out a mortgage on my home to fund this vision.[/p][p]Thankfully, Smilegate stepped in to support us as well. That funding allowed us to:[/p]

  • [p]Build a proper animation pipeline[/p]
  • [p]Set up internal QA and stress-testing processes[/p]
[p]It’s a risk. But we believe it’s one worth taking.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][p][/p][h3]And We Promise[/h3][p]Here’s what’s ahead:[/p]
  • [p]July – Combat overhaul goes live[/p]
  • [p]October – Maritime content update[/p]
  • [p]More updates after that, each building on the last[/p]
[p]The early stages may feel rough. But we’ll listen, iterate, and improve—together. And years from now, we hope this is a game you still return to. Not just for content drops, but for gameplay that makes your heart race.[/p][p]As always, we ask ourselves again.[/p]

This is the IfSunSets development team.

We’d like to share news of a recent hotfix.
We’ve been actively listening to your feedback through Discord and various community forums.

At the moment, we’re focusing our efforts on preparing a major content update, which means we aren’t able to deliver frequent hotfixes as quickly as before. We kindly ask for your understanding.

We’re doing our best to bring you even more exciting and meaningful content in the near future.

[h2]■ Major Hotfix Details[/h2] We’ve improved the French, Portuguese, and Spanish localizations for our game, IfSunSets.

We have added a "Special Equipment Slot" that allows you to separate the glider from the backpack.

  • Added a tooltip to make it easier to understand how to use the Delivery Box.
  • Added sound effects to improve the feel when moving items in the hotbar.
  • Adjusted the gunfire effect of the Daywalker Marauder to appear more natural.
  • Adjusted the volume of sounds played when using the Misc Bench.
  • It is now possible to use a lantern and a backpack at the same time.
  • It is now possible to use a glider and a backpack at the same time.

  • Improved some collision boundaries to prevent characters from getting stuck on certain terrain or objects.
  • Fixed unnatural-looking graphics in certain areas.
  • Improved the quality of some objects that previously had very low texture resolution.
  • The settings environment has been modified.
  • Enhanced the texture resolution of certain objects.
  • Replaced some objects that were below standard quality.
  • Updated the background design of the Quarry.
  • Changed some rocks in the Jungle.
  • Improved visuals for a sharper and clearer screen.
  • Polished terrain with visible holes.
  • Removed some invisible blocking walls.
  • Adjusted specular highlights that were appearing too intensely on some objects.

  • Fixed an issue where buildings were occasionally not being deleted as intended.
  • Fixed an issue where Blippia occasionally failed to activate.
  • Fixed an issue where items occasionally could not be separated.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Merge Duplicate Items" function in storage sometimes did not work properly.
  • Server stability in guest mode has been improved.
    (If a high-level guest with a large amount of data enters a world, features like weapon equipping or sprinting may be temporarily disabled, but will return to normal within a few seconds.)
