[p][/p][p]For six years, your boundless creativity has transformed Sky into a vibrant canvas for artistic expression. To celebrate our upcoming anniversary, we want to honor you and the incredible art, music, and stories you’ve shared in the skies and on social media.[/p][p]The heart of the festivities will center around Aviary Village, where a once-forgotten theater is being restored with your help. Beginning July 7th, you’ll be invited to reopen the cinema—a magical space for premieres, community showcases, and a few surprises. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Once its doors open, the theater will host round-the-clock programming and two major events: the very first Sky Creator Awards, a live broadcast celebrating the incredible talent and expression of our creator community, and the debut of Sky: The Two Embers – Part 1, a four-part cinematic journey into the origin of Sky’s world. More information about film screenings will be announced soon.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Of course, no anniversary is complete without a little dancing and silly shenanigans. As the event unfolds, Aviary Village will transform into a lively playground of mini-games, a towering climb, parades, and wet-and-wild party moments you won’t want to miss.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]So come as you are—whether you're here to create, celebrate, explore, or just kick back with friends and go to the movies. This month, we celebrate the colorful mosaic of lights that make up Sky’s community, with the return of our most vibrant event: Days of Color!




For two weeks starting on May 26th PDT, the kaleidoscope of brilliant rainbows and colorful Spirits will return to celebrate the diverse world we all share…with a fresh twist bringing tons of fun!

This year’s event features a set of new mini-games, including a memory match and a little activity involving plushies inspired by some of the Sky kid hijinx we've seen.

Favorite activities will make a comeback, notably the rainbow puzzle, the rainbow race, and more!



Two Spirits await you when you enter the game, ready to transport you to the bright, spacious area above the clouds hosting this year’s festivities. While you soar around the event area, the Spirits are bringing new and returning items for all Sky kids to choose their favorite mementos from.



As you take part in the activities, forge up to five Event Tickets a day by gathering Event Light (and keep your eye out for 15 bonus Tickets, too). Be transformed by every color of the rainbow, and even win dye as you play the event’s games! Keep in mind that all the new items can be customized in the Dye Workshop!



Days of Color is all about celebrating the rich tapestry we create together, sharing a message of hope and beauty, in a world where all colors can shine.




We’re proud to share that we’ll once again be supporting The Trevor Project, the world’s leading suicide prevention and mental health organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people. The Trevor Project’s programs include crisis services, education, peer support for people around the world, and other efforts that ensure young people can have the chance to thrive no matter who they are.

We’ll be making a donation to The Trevor Project in association with the Days of Color campaign, so stay tuned for announcements that reveal the total amount after the event has concluded. We invite you to join us in supporting The Trevor Project this month!

Changes in this update include:

• Fixed missing text when reliving memory quests from certain Spirits, including Hairtousle Teen and Dancing Performer.
  
• Expression menu icon no longer overlaps with the names of Spirits when viewing them through the Constellation.
  
• Gift Season Pass icon won’t appear partially filled.
  
• Fixed a softlock that could happen after reliving certain Spirits’ memories while the autoskip cutscene option was enabled.
  
• Resolved an issue causing realm portals to not appear in Aviary Village or Home.

Days of Nature has returned to Sky, and the ocean and its beloved creatures are in trouble once more—sending a quiet plea for help that echoes across the waves.


It all begins high atop the mountains of the Sanctuary Islands, where something feels different this year. After you enjoy the beautiful views, you might notice the Elder Manta—a long time guardian of the sea—circling nearby. It seems even they can sense the unease below.

Darkness has disrupted the ecosystem, polluting the waters and endangering the birds, mantas, and manatees that call it home. Creatures are trapped in this growing threat. It’s a patient, gentle task to set them free—but once you do, they take flight, circling joyfully before guiding you toward others still in need of help.



The waters aren’t safe just yet, though. The Darkness doesn’t just linger—it notices you. It clings to you as you move, slowly draining the color from the world around you. Even the world’s light seems quieter, dimmed by something just beneath the surface.

And that presence is changing. Each week, something new stirs in the depths, drawn to the disturbed waters. Some are small and sneaky. Others…well, you’ll want to tread carefully.





Days of Nature has always been a time to reflect, reconnect, and give back. It’s about discovering how much light a single act of kindness can bring. And this year, your efforts can ripple beyond the game world.

Sky continues its partnership with The Ocean Cleanup, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ridding the world’s oceans and rivers of plastic pollution. The majority of in-game items available for purchase during Days of Nature will support real-world cleanup efforts in oceans and waterways.



These charity items will be specially designated in the in-game shop, and a little more than half of the list price of these charity items sold will be donated. Of the remaining amount, 30% goes to platform fees (charged by app stores), and 20% supports development costs.

Since 2021, the Sky community has raised almost $2.5 million for this vital cause—proof that a little light can go a long way! That support has helped remove plastic waste from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, contributed to river cleanup projects through The Ocean Cleanup’s Interceptor program, and supported the testing and operation of large-scale ocean cleanup systems like System 002. These efforts are already informing the next generation of solutions being developed today.
