Early Access Update #91 - Final Early Access Update!

Today's update is the last Early Access update (aside from potential urgent bugfixes) before the 1.0 Release!



This update brings a bunch of content, including the Explorer Pack, the first content pack that will be given for free to all Early Access backers once it's made available (it will be in a few hours!).

We're also adding some small but useful improvements, as well as some bugfixes, and the next seasonal event, that will start on June 12th and last for 14 days, adding summer-themed items and rewards.

New content:
  • New Content Pack: Explorer Pack
  • New Decoration: Kennel
  • New Road: Train bridge
  • Added new glasses variants.


Improvements:
  • Improved autotractor behavior when the active tile can't be interacted, but the surrounding compatible tiles are. This is specially useful on square areas, as you no longer have to move back and forth "cleaning up" side and corner tiles.
  • Moved current mode indicator to the left of the screen instead of the right.
  • Made it so the item being placed has priority on the UI over the item on the current tile. Also item level is now shown while in placement mode.
  • You can now select items from past events in planters and decorative signs.
  • Improved minimap zoom behavior. Now it's more intuitive, and you can use the mouse wheel to zoom into a specific point.
  • Improved sorting so event items are shown together.
  • Animals are now spawned in a more organized way. Should help with big animals piling up when spawned.
  • Removed "Available" sorting from the Fence category, as it was doing nothing.
  • Added a "Category" sorting for Buildings.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed production buildings having the wrong capacity when leveled up (smaller than intended).
  • Fixed controller/keyboard UI navigation issues in specific cases when event rewards have not been unlocked.
  • Fixed unlock and level up notices order being mixed up when new popups are enqueued.
  • Fixed animals growing twice as fast in specific situations.
  • Fixed Camera Auto Rotation setting not being checked when loading the farm.


Note that exiting Early Access isn't the end but just the beginning! We will still be working for a long time in the game, adding new content and features, and doing our best to listen to your feedback and keep improving the game.

Early Access Update #90 - Small update

Today's update brings a bunch of small changes and QoL improvements, in preparation for the 1.0 release that's coming soon.

Improvements:
  • Automatic tractor will now place roads and fences one tile at a time instead of 3. This makes it easier to place corners and surround areas with fences without the need to stop and reorientate. Fences can still be tricky to place, but better than before!
  • Fairy light source is now faded when transitioning between day and night.
  • Added a 25% option in town shops.
  • Added an accesibility setting to limit automatic tractor work speed.This setting makes the tractor slower in case you feel uncomfortable with the usual speed.
Gameplay changes:
  • Increased feeders' food per resource bonus from +20% to +50% (this means animals with feeders will require less resources to be fed).
  • Decreased resources required in some production buildings. Decreased amount required to exchange some resources for medals in town shops.
  • Changed diamonds->medals and coins->medals exchange ratio in the Money Exchange. The Money Exchange was intended as a way to convert some surplus to medals that could be useful elsewhere, but it was not meant as a way to replace other ways to earn medals.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed fence orientation not updating when changing directions in automatic mode.
  • Fixed plate and pedestal not showing event items.
  • Fixed split screen player position not being updated in online games when the main player was sitting in a decoration.
  • Fixed full width character preview not working on text input dialogs.
  • Fixed bug in chat filtering that triggered the filter in specific unintended cases.

Early Access Update #89 - Small update

Today's update brings a new item, the Worn Out Path, and a few QoL/internal upgrades we wanted to publish.

New content:
  • New path: Worn out path
  • New house floor: Worn out tiles


Improvements:
  • Most filters (such as sorting method in the shop, or filter in find farms) are now shown as a pop-up dialog.
  • Moved the "Travel to Town" button to the lower right section of the map.
  • Added a setting to disable weather effects.
  • Added a setting to modify action popup duration.
  • Updated networking engine version to the latest one available. This should help with some issues. Specifically the "not being properly notified when the host leaves the game" bug is fixed.
  • Request rate limit issues are better handled now.There was an issue with this beyond our control on Wednesday. This change wouldn't fix that, but should be easier to understand what happened.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed accepting changes while customizing showing an unintended pop-up dialog in specific cases.
  • Fixed wrong permission handling when recycling empty tiles and moving things (was intended to be Build, it was requiring Full).
  • Fixed pets falling through the ground when entering a house at the same time the pet was jumping a fence or a hill.

Early Access Update #88 - Small update

In today's update we're adding a few variations to some buildings such as the quick travel post or the fuel depot, as well as fixing a bug with the recycle confirmation UI.

New Content:
  • Added new bus stop (available in the Carpenter shop) and quick travel post.
  • Added new color variations to the fuel depot.
  • New fence: Reeds


Improvements:
  • Added two new loading screen tips for petting dogs and fence selection.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed visual bug in the recycle/flatten confirmation prompts.

Early Access Update #87 - Small update

In today's update we're fixing a few minor issues and adding some things.

New content:
  • Added 2 new roads: Gravel Road and Cinderblock Road
  • Added new floor for the house: Gravel floor.


Improvements:
  • Decreased controller vibration amount when walking on water.
  • The how to play section now shows all loading tips at the end.
  • The "long press" button confirmation progress now starts a bit further, so it's more clear that it requires a long press when just doing a quick tap.


Gameplay changes:
  • Reduced amount of mushrooms requested on quests.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed chat not working properly when mapped to the Enter key.
  • Fixed menus being unusable when opening your own profile page with a controller.
  • Fixed potential softlock with cloud/save conflict pop-ups while playing.
  • Fixed crash when using the new fence selection tool on specific farm corners.
  • Fixed time not advancing properly when using sleep/resume in an online farm on the Steam Deck.
  • Fixed specific cases where the Last Cloud Save date would be set back to "Never".
