THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.8.4

THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.8.4 downtime will begin at 10:30PM PT (6:30AM UTC) on November 27 and last approximately 3.5 hours. It includes various bug fixes to Castle Siege for an even more enjoyable experience storming Stonegard Castle and more. Check out the full release notes below.

  • Morph: Fixed an issue that allowed health regenerate abnormally fast due to the removal of global cooldown on morphing.
  • Arch Bosses: Fixed an issue that caused the Queen Bellandir and Tevent events to not drop their expected loot items.
  • Dynamic Events: Fixed an issue preventing the Fire Festival and the Lift the Moonlight Spell events from starting properly.
  • Dominion: Dark Destroyers: Fixed the Dominion portals not spawning properly for this event.
  • Controllers: Fixed the Enter Game screen opening legal text when attempting to use the Enter Game button.

[h3]Castle Siege[/h3]
  • Adjusted the geometry of Stonegard Castle to prevent unintended early access to the inner courtyard by traveling atop the western walls.
  • Fixed an issue where Guilds were unable to properly distribute Lucent at the end of Siege.
  • Fixed an issue preventing capture of Pillage Stones.
  • Fixed an issue where characters could glitch beneath the floor of Stonegard Castle.

As Throne and Liberty continues to hold strong on Steam in the wake of its first round of colossal castle siege battles, developers Amazon Games and NCSoft unveil a new game-changing weapon. The Spear is set to be the first new weapon added to the global version of the free MMORPG, and it's a versatile, mobile option capable of diving in on the enemy backline to disable them, rush to your allies' side to help turn the tide of combat in your favor, or unleash fiery explosions.

After some player confusion, Throne and Liberty publisher Amazon Games has made it clear that the newest loot drops in the MMO are a feature and not a bug. Now that update 1.8.0 is here, Amazon confirms that the set-bonus gear some players have been finding is "an intended change" to the long-term player experience, so you don't need to worry about accidentally getting punished for utilizing a glitch. To avoid this level of confusion in the future, Amazon adds that it'll aim to better communicate these types of changes going forward.
