Notice Regarding Fruit Skewer Drop Rate Adjustments

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback regarding the Fruit Skewer drop rate changes introduced in Patch 0.10.6.

The probability correction system for Fruit Skewers is still a work in progress. With the addition of new combos in the recent patch and further expansions planned for the future, we applied a downward adjustment to reduce the overall impact that artifact acquisition has on the drop table.

However, after analyzing post-patch gameplay data, we identified a roughly 3–4% decrease in win rates in Hard Mode stages 20–30 and above. In higher Hard Mode tiers, where item selection opportunities are already limited, this adjustment had a greater impact than initially intended.

As a result, this change will be partially rolled back in this patch.

We also considered applying the reduced drop rate exclusively to Hard Mode, but decided against doing so for now in order to continue making broader, ongoing adjustments to the Fruit Skewer system as a whole.

We will continue to refine and improve this system based on your feedback and gameplay data.

β€’ πŸ₯• Improved an issue where, if progressing through Chapter 3, joining Chapter 4 via multiplayer, and then returning to single-player for Chapter 3, the message 'Host's progress does not match' appears and progress is blocked.
It seems that accessing Chapter 4 is forced under certain circumstances, despite Chapter 3 save files not normally allowing entry to Chapter 4's lobby. This issue is under investigation, and measures will be taken to ensure Chapter 3 save files cannot enter Chapter 4 multiplayer lobbies in the future.

0.10.6 Update

Hello, this is TEAM HORAY.

This update includes minor content additions such as artifacts, tablets, and costumes, along with improvements to some Bond artifacts and adjustments to Fruit Skewer drop rates.

We've added 2 new minor combos this time. While adding main combos like 'Solar Blade' or 'Glacier' is certainly great, we thought it might be interesting to add support combos like the existing 'Mystic', so we went ahead with this work. We're continuing to brainstorm attractive support combos that can be useful in various situations, and plan to keep implementing them as good ideas come to mind.

Bond artifacts were designed to maximize two combos, but their performance was lacking compared to the acquisition conditions and operational difficulty, so we've improved and buffed some Bond artifacts with this patch. We plan to add more Bond artifacts in the future and will continue to improve the Bond artifacts not addressed in this update.

- New tablets 'Peace, Courage, Hospitality, Honor' have been added.
- New costumes 'Deer, Fairy of Fortune, Crocodile, Eagle, Farmer Squirrel' have been added.
- New dagger upgrades have been added. (Academy Enchanted Sword, Tome of Mimicry, Academy Magic Sword - Liberation)
The existing parry-line daggers Safe Start, Lightless Blade, White Smile have been disabled.
β€’ New combos Curse, Negotiation have been added.
Curse is a support combo related to debuffs, and Negotiation is a support combo related to leaf acquisition.
β€’ New artifacts 'Lucky Medal, Neutralizer Noir, Blue Ink Bottle, Impact Amplifier, Crystal of Harmony, Eternal Winter' have been added.

- Item drop bonus drop rate with Fruit Skewers has been changed.
- Before: 50% bonus per Fruit Skewer (up to 150% bonus for Adaptive (Carrot))
- After: 25% bonus per Fruit Skewer (up to 75% bonus for Adaptive (Carrot)), however '-(minus)' Fruit Skewers that reduce drop rate now apply double the reduction (i.e., -50% per '-')
- Bond Artifact drop rates have been adjusted to appear more frequently as the number of acquired combos increases.
- Companion combo level 10 'Companion Revive Time Haste' stat value changed from 100% β†’ 40%.

The end of 2025 is approaching.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has spent time with us throughout this year. All four of us, including myself, have been running non-stop since the launch of Sephiria, and watching you all enjoy the content we've prepared has made 2025 a truly rewarding year for us.




[h2]Since Launch...[/h2]

It's already been 8 months since we launched Sephiria. I still vividly remember nervously pressing the launch button in early April. Despite the game's many shortcomings, we were able to make several great updates thanks to your advice.

If I had to pick the most memorable update, it would definitely be the 'Combo System'. I remember developing it bit by bit until it grew large enough to release as a public beta, where we carefully reviewed your feedback and gameplay data. Your passionate feedback really motivated us to develop it with enthusiasm.

And recently, the Chapter 4 update was uploaded. While the previous Chapter 3 had you repeatedly clear the same run to progress the story, we adopted a different approach for Chapter 4 where you complete several side missions before clearing the main run once to provide a fresh experience.

However, since this was pretty much our first time creating various story-related cutscenes (including side missions), we encountered many trial and error moments. As a result, the content might feel a bit shorter than the effort we put in. Converting Chapter 4 from a single-player exclusive design to support multiplayer also took some time.

Story cutscene development process. We created many of these cutscenes for Chapter 4.





[h2]Update Preview[/h2]

We're currently working on several projects in parallel. We're continuing to stabilize Chapter 4, and we've begun development on 'Chapters 5-6'. We'd like to mention that Chapter 6 will be the final chapter that concludes Sephiria's main story. We plan to release up to Chapter 5 as Early Access updates, and unveil Chapter 6 with the full release.

We're also pushing forward with content additions. First, new Artifacts and Tablets will be added. We're also working on performance improvements for some Bond Artifacts and plan to introduce additional Bond Artifacts.



New Costumes are coming soon! We've prepared costumes with stats that weren't used before, like Fruit Skewer and Wishing Fountain. They'll be updated in the near future, so please try them out and share your thoughts anytime!




Now, about the next new weapon... The basic concept is complete and we're working on what upgrades to provide! Here's a quick silhouette preview.

This weapon is still in early development, so it will take some time to complete.

[h2]About the Full Release[/h2]

Sephiria is scheduled for full release in 2026! While we haven't set an exact date, we're targeting the first half of 2026. We plan to continue with content updates for now, and we'll share the specific schedule once it's confirmed!

β€’ We are currently investigating a bug where pressing the join button for a lobby created by another player during multiplayer does not allow entry. (On the actual host PC, it shows that the player has joined the lobby) This bug is confirmed to be resolved in most cases by restarting the game, but if you experience this issue or know how to reproduce the bug, we would appreciate it if you could report it.
β€’ An issue has been discovered where the 'Bomb Demon' warning sometimes does not display.
