v2.1 - The Very Useful Things update
Hello, Catalysts! Pretty big update! New buildings, new cards, and a WHOLE lot of little tweaks here and there to make things smoother. If you're playing on the Steam Deck, everything should properly adapt to it now!
Also important is a controls menu! Wow! I'm so adamant on developers adding these, yet I didn't add one to my own game. How hypocritical...UNTIL NOW.

Also important is a controls menu! Wow! I'm so adamant on developers adding these, yet I didn't add one to my own game. How hypocritical...UNTIL NOW.
PROGRESSION:
- Added a Rabbit & Steel cameo! It should show up after Boss 3 becomes available.
- Added Hint Cards that you get as you progress through the game. These should have (still cryptic) hints on how some mechanics work.
- (hopefully) fixed the ending not accounting for placed buildings.
- Most cards you get are now non-dismissable until you get to the end of them.
- Fixed the tutorial card re-view on the main menu playing the unlock animation.
BUILDINGS:
- Added a Warehouse! These evenly distribute materials you put in them across town, refilling shop stocks.
- Added an Incinerator! These burn up materials and items for a small amount of extra time to the current night.
- Added a Grill! It's a lategame variant of the Bakery, though it's not a lot of overlap.
- New Decor! A popcorn machine, hitching post, tacky lightup arrow sign, and more!
- Clocks now have standard decor properties.
- The signal catcher now works a little differently. Once it gets a signal, you hold click on it for a second. After you do that, then it sets ALL elements to 0 and unlocks the signal.
- T2 class shops have had their attract rates slightly buffed.
- Moths no longer push out of each other if they're past the town borders, so hopefully they don't push out of the screen.
- Geode Shops now create a Rock Bag out of 100 pebbles...that sells for as much as 100 pebbles.
- Boss 5's material now makes a new item in T1 class shops.
ADVENTURERS:
- Optimized offscreen adventurers; they don't update every frame now.
- Fixed NPCs holding the wrong card if new cards were added after they spawned (again).
- Fixed adventurers walking in place.
- Picking up an adventurer while stock displays are open now shows some stats about them and what they've bought.
UI:
- Added a Controls menu! You can now rebind your controls. Yay!
- The options button is now darker on the title screen so as to be less eye-catching during the intro.
- Made various improvements to how controllers handle.
- The cursor now snaps to "ENTER WORLD" on controller so you can get in real fast.
- Changed how cameo cards look to be a little cooler.
- Popup menus now have a nice little animation when they spawn.
- There's now a Button Magnifier option. With it enabled, it shows a much larger number when stacking up resources.
- Fixed grabbing menus if you're already holding the mouse down.
- the "Reset Default Options" button in submenus now only resets the options present in that submenu.
- The cursor now shows an indicator when scrolling.
COMPATABILITY:
- The game now always starts in fullscreen when in Big Picture Mode.
- Fullscreen and window size options no longer appear when on the Steam Deck or other fullscreen-only platforms.
- The tutorial's control prompts now adapt to the type of control scheme you're using.
- Steam deck and Big Picture Mode now display virtual keyboards when renaming a friend.
- Added A+X as a default binding for rapid click on controllers.
QUESTS:
- Boss quests are now limited to 300 completions to keep save file sizes consistent.
- Fixed being able to add materials to a completed fetch quest.
- Increased ice nautilus drops: 6 ice 3 shell -> 10 ice 6 shell
- Increased pillow drops: 4 silk 6 feather -> 8 silk 8 feather
- Applied save compression to the quests file. You shouldn't notice anything, but still worth noting!
WORLD:
- Added several new rare moon variants.
- Fixed some names.
