Director's Message: Regarding the Story of the Game The Great Prologue ④

Hello!
This is the development team of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily.

We hope you're enjoying The Great Prologue!
We're now in the final stages of development, and we’d really appreciate it if you could wait just a little longer.

Now, let’s have the girls continue with their introductions!
This time, they’ll be talking about the people connected to the "Fortress of the Empire" that stands in Scarlet’s way.
▼The Cool Genius
A rare sight, a smart one shows up for once.

Weeell...
Apparently, she’s the fire control officer of The Indomitable Great Wall,
the central fortress defending the Imperial Capital.

Oh, a fire control officer?
Not only do you need precise rangefinding,
but you have to predict the target’s future position as well.
A critical role!

...She really was top of her class at the academy.

I figured you’d be skeptical.

So basically, she’s a master of trajectory calculation.

Come on, it takes dozens of seconds from firing to impact.
As long as it doesn’t hit, we’re fine.

You do realize the shockwave alone from a fortress cannon shell can turn a person to dust?

Which also means it’s not exactly nimble.
Well, just watch. I’ll bring her down and blow the viewers’ minds.

...This isn't the kind of artillery I was expecting?

Geniuses really are unfair, huh?

This isn’t something you can just wave off with “genius.”
Stop summoning only the barrel!

Also, why are we the only ones taking damage?
This just doesn’t sit right.

Yeah... hmm...
At this point, I don’t even know anymore, but okay...

Wow, that pompadour is intense!
▼ Hot-Blooded Passionate Second Prince
Wow, that pompadour is intense!

That's not all. Look at his beard.

Wasn’t he the second prince of the Empire?

Gwyn’s younger brother, and commander of the Second Division of the Imperial Army.
He’s one of the Empire’s spiritual pillars.

He’s totally got the face of a villain.

Does he? That’s just our bias talking.
He’s actually super popular among the citizens and deeply respected.

Really...
So he’s more cheerful and charming normally?

To put it simply, he’s like the bossy kid on the playground.
He loves big things, strong guys, things like dragons
all the stuff little boys are into.

That makes so much sense.

He’s crazy about cavalry too.
Give him a gun and he calls himself a dragoon.

Super easy to read.

Is he okay?
He’s acting kinda... too excited?

He places complete trust in his subordinates and soldiers.
That’s what real charisma looks like.

Going up against him feels like...
a total pain, to be honest...

If father is the Empire’s shield, then His Highness is its spear.
He’s pure frontline power.
Taking him down will be real tough.

I’m not really keen on biting into bricks, you know...
▼ Mysterious Hunter
…What the hell is this thing?

It’s a pink bear.
See? Cute, right?

I mean…
Where do I even start?

It’s our second mascot slot.

The first one was Lady Carmine, huh?
That I could at least take in…

Look at those beady little eyes.
Absolutely adorable!

Stop hitting me with replies I can’t respond to.

Apparently she’s a hunter from a village near the battlefield.

Unanimous vote, suspicious individual!

She just started tossing grenades while singing!?

The Empire’s terrifying new weapon: A pink bear that throws hand grenades.

If that’s their new weapon, the Empire’s already doomed!
Wait, what the hell is that thing she’s firing?

It’s called a “Sauterelle.” Kind of like a freaky crossbow on steroids.

That’s not something a hunter should be carrying!!
Wait... She’s not even classified as infantry, she’s artillery!?

It’s one of the Seven Wonders of the Great Villainess.

I’m getting a headache…

That’s just your brain rejecting reality.
Embrace it...
Embrace the cute...
▼ The Second Prince’s Right-Hand Man
Now that’s a dangerously good-looking guy.
He could totally be the star villain in a play.

A villain, huh…? I’m not familiar enough with that stuff to say.

You know the kind? The handsome one who does awful things to princesses and goddesses.
Ring any bells?

That’s not something you should be resonating with…
Anyway, this guy’s the logistics officer supporting Prince Ciaran.
The Second Division is stationed in “West Midland,” a breadbasket region.
He handles everything from feed for the cavalry to provisioning the soldiers.

Let’s see… the cue card says...
He takes care of the prince in both public and private matters.

Yeah, His Highness isn’t exactly detail-oriented.
Apparently, he needed more looking after than Gwyn did when he was a kid.

…And this guy’s been looking after him all this time.
Sorry for calling you a villain.

A rare healer and buffer.
Capture him.

A bit too eager, aren’t we?

If you let him act freely, he buffs everyone and becomes a real pain.

He needs to go down first.
But he looks pretty well-prepared, so we’ll need to approach carefully.

…So “carefully” actually exists in your vocabulary, Lady Scarlet?

You totally think I’m an idiot... Don’t you?

Oh no, not at all, no way.

How was it?
Today, Scarlet and Lily introduced the members of the Empire’s other military forces standing in their way. The Second Division.

How will Scarlet and her team break through the Empire’s proud “Great Wall Fortress?”
We hope you’ll look forward to finding out when the game launches.

Thank you for your continued support of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily!

Director's Message: Regarding the Story of the Game The Great Prologue ③

Hello everyone,
This is the The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily development team.
This is The Great Prologue where Lady Scarlet and Lily-chan introduce characters from the game.
We want to thank everyone for all the comments and feedback.

Let’s continue with the introductions!
This time, we’ll be meeting people connected to Scarlet’s family, the House of Penrose.

Here we go!
▼ The White Angel of Mischief
...Is she supposed to be here?

She’s definitely not someone meant for the battlefield.
She’s a young lady from the House of Maple, working for my family.
Absolutely smothered with affection by her family, especially her brother, who loves her more than life itself.

...

You’re thinking she’s the total opposite of me, aren’t you?

Nope! Didn't cross my mind, at all!

Whatever.
So she became a field nurse, huh?

Looks like she has something to say to you.

And she came all the way to the battlefield for that?
Gutsy, I’ll give her that.

Even little girls are falling for you now...

What’s with that look?

Don’t you dare lay a finger on her.

Are you seriously taking me for some kind of pervert?
▼ The Steel Line Infantry
Whoa whoa whoa whoa
That anchor chain’s meant for mooring the stream airship, you know!?
You're not supposed to just snap it like that!

You were using that?
It’s not made to fight people...

And yet it was snapped!

...Well, he is a walking wall of muscle.

So you know him?

He’s Carmine’s brother.
A soldier in the Penrose family’s military retinue.

They're related!?
Wait, so the “brother who loves her more than life itself” is him?

You don’t want to cross him.

I already have a very bad feeling about this...

That’s some insane discipline going on there.

That’s the traditional formation style of the Imperial Army’s line infantry.
Once the command is given, they’ll charge no matter the situation.

He’s the textbook definition of a diligent soldier.
Do we… actually stand a chance?

Victory’s not something you “stand a chance” at.
You seize it.

I was told 90% of battle is preparation…

...It’ll work out. Somehow.

HELP!! I NEED COMPETENT ALLIES, STAT!!!
▼ The Elite Special Forces Ace
Was this guy always in the Army...?

Um, according to the cue card, he joined pretty recently.

Don’t read the cue card like it’s normal.

They say he’s some kind of expert in special operations.

Huh. That’s unusual for them. They usually only muscle through.
Maybe they’ve finally learned to think a little. I’m impressed.

If he’s special forces, I guess that means he’s a solo combat specialist?
… What’s with the mask?

Is it even possible to see out of just one side?

...Let’s not dig any deeper.
He seems confident in his skills, though.
How will you handle him, milady?

Brute force.
He’ll learn who’s the strongest, and that fear will burn into his brainstem.

What a dreadful dancefloor...
Looks painful. Like a lot.

Such theatrical flair...
And a stun effect? That’s cheap.

Well, he is special forces.
I’d expect some... special abilities.

You don’t have a wittier comment than that?

If I said, “He kinda reminds me of you,”
you’d get mad, wouldn’t you?

...I’m not that petty.
Still, I don’t like it.
Only I get to be the one who stands out.

Yes, yes.
Anyway, the Imperial Army really does seem to be stacked with talent.
▼ The Stubborn Old Man
Aaaand there he is...

That’s your father, right?
I heard he’s the commanding general of the Imperial Army.

Correct.
You wouldn’t believe how stubborn he is.
He ruined my entire delicate and fragile childhood...

I’m pretty sure it was worse for him...

Did you say something?

No no.

He practically wears tradition itself.
Pure, upright, and rigid to the core.
Even though he fights head on, he’s never lost a battle.

Yikes...

They say you can hear that voice from 10 kilometers away.

Is his diaphragm made of synthetic rubber or something?
Wait... Doesn’t that make the HQ a huge target?

He draws enemy fire to protect his troops
and still sends it all back.
Sanjay was gushing about it.

Is everyone in House Penrose a warrior race!?

Making Father "understand" might be tough
but I’m looking forward to it.

I am not!!

How was that?
Today, we met people from Scarlet’s family, the House of Penrose.

Where and how will Scarlet cross pathes with them?
And will they have to fight?
Can Scarlet clear her name of the accusation of assassinating the Emperor?
We hope you'll stay tuned just a little longer until release.

Thank you for your continued support of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily!

Director's Message:The Great Prologue ②

Hello!
This is the development team behind The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily.
We hope you enjoyed the first “prologue chat” between Scarlet and Lily!
Thank you again for all your comments and reactions!
▼About the Story
The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily tells the tale of beautiful ladies rebelling against an era and society ruled by men.

It’s a time when women couldn’t pursue their desires freely. When they had to hide their true feelings.
Lily, and many others like her, live under such oppression.
Scarlet, however, is someone who can boldly say “NO” to such a time.

“Those clueless pretty boys need a good beating!”
“I’m the main character here!”

She’s a woman who rebels with everything she’s got.

When Scarlet meets her girl of fate Lily,
she gains the power of “streaming” and starts a fight with the world itself.

Before they can reach their “happy ending,” enemy commanders will stand in their way.
Whether to use them… or crush them is up to the player.

Who will appear before the two heroines?
Let’s have Scarlet and Lily-chan introduce them.
▼ The Savior of the Nation (and her Knight)
That’s very of blue.

Who cares about the color?

She could be your nemesis?

She’s my childhood friend.
Lady Primula of House Graybolt.

You had a childhood?

What do you take me for?
We drifted apart for a while,
but I heard she’s been doing well lately as the acting head of her house.

So you weren’t exactly close?

We spent a short time together at the Lady School.
That was the last I saw of her.

Did you say something rude or something?
…She does look pretty mad in this footage.

I honestly have no idea why she’s so ticked off...

She’s literally leading a whole army against you.

She’s always been good at riling people up.
No one ever listens to me,
but they hang on her every word like it’s gospel.

Gee, I wonder why that is...
Who's that next to her?

Her maid... I believe her name was Jane.
She calls herself Primula’s “knight.”

Can you just call yourself a knight?
Sooo, what your plan?

That's what we call, you’ll have to play and find out.
▼ The Proper Prince
That’s the Empire's Crown Prince, right?
Why did he become your fiancé?

Politics.
The nobles arranged it behind my back.
Family lineage is impeccable, at least.

Just the lineage, huh...
Poor guy.

What’s that supposed to mean?

So you didn’t really know each other?

We had met through our families, but we hardly ever spoke.
Apparently, he’s got a massive inferiority complex toward me.

What happened?

I was the top at the officer academy until I dropped out.
He only managed to graduate with honors after I left.

...Oof.
Yeah, I get it now.

...What even is this?

Gwyn had it specially developed.
It’s the Empire’s latest weapon, a Heavy-Class Panjandrum.

THE Panja...

I know, I know.

We have to fight that...

What did you think?

If you manage to recruit these enemy commanders, they may even become members in new streaming programs!

Thank you for your continued support of The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily!

Director's Message: The Great Prologue ① ~ The Story of Two ~

Hello everyone,
Did you have a chance to watch the "Bonding Trailer" we released on April 13th?

We’ve received an overwhelming amount of feedback, and we’re truly grateful for all the support.

As we count down to release, we’ll be gradually sharing more about the characters and the story that make this game so special.
And to kick things off—
We’ve invited Lady Scarlet and Lily themselves to help introduce everything to you!

The stage is yours!
▼ The game’s 『Story』
…Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Are we seriously letting Lady Scarlet handle this?

How rude. Who do you think I am?
I am a duchess, you know.
Let me show you my impeccable public image.
Ahem…
“This is a tale where we use our enemies and totally f—”

Stop right there! Don’t say stuff like that!
Hold on a sec— I’ll write a proper script.

——————【Strategy Dogma Ⅰ】——————

"The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily" is a story about
「Scarlet & Lily」leading up to that Happy Ending.

19 enemy commanders stand in their way.
(Including Scarlet and Lily, there are a total of 21 characters in the game.)

At its core, it’s a story about this duo, Scarlet and Lily. Or we could even call them buddies?
Where will their journey ultimately lead them?

This is a story for you to witness that outcome.

(You can view character profiles from the “INFO” menu.)

————————————————————————

Exactly!
Which means we have to clear up that whole “regicide” accusation too, right?

Why bother?
We’ll just beat them all down until they… You know?
If they’ve got the guts to cross me, they’d better be ready for the consequences.

And that’s exactly why people suspect you.
Since I’m getting lumped in with you, can you please act a little more responsibly?

——————【Strategy Dogma Ⅱ】——————

Scarlet stands accused of assassinating the Emperor.
To uncover the truth behind this accusation, will you choose to spare the enemy commanders… or execute them?

The choice lies entirely in your hands.

You may seek out clues and build your army.
Or ignore the suspicions entirely and cut down your foes one by one.

A future where the accusations are cleared… and one where they aren’t.
What form will Scarlet and Lily’s happy ending take?

(How Lady Scarlet acts after this… is entirely up to the player.)

————————————————————————

And what’s the point of gathering allies?
Should I just seduce them one by one?

Go ahead—if you really think you can do that in front of me.

No need to get so jealous.
Don’t worry, You’re the only one for me, Master.

Ugh! Quit with the chin thing!
You always dodge issues like this…

——————【Strategy Dogma Ⅲ】——————

This is a story about “Scarlet and Lily’s journey toward a happy ending.”

Rival noblewomen, formidable male adversaries, and even Scarlet’s own family—
many characters will appear before the two.

But at its heart, the story is always about what becomes of “The two.”

There are no branching dialogue choices,
but events will change depending on how you play.

Also, be sure to pay attention to the evolving relationships that surround them—
everyday moments shaped by the growing trust of other characters.
We hope you’ll follow their path and witness the future they reach together.

————————————————————————

Well, just make sure we do get our happy ending, alright?

If Lily is the one asking, then I’ll make it happen.
A happy ending, just for us.

Yeah…
I’ll be holding you to that.

————————————————————————

I hope you enjoyed the information we presented today

We will be introducing some of the other characters as well from our next message.

We truly appreciate your continued support for “The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily.”

Please hang in there just a little longer until the game’s release…!

And now, to wrap things up—
