Movierooms Alpha – Early Access Out Now!

[p]This is a very important and emotional moment for us. The game is currently in Alpha, which means some systems are still evolving and many features will continue to grow during development. Your feedback will play a huge role in shaping the future of Movierooms.[/p][p]We want to sincerely thank everyone who supported the project, joined the playtests and helped us improve the game over the past months. At the same time, we’re incredibly excited — and a little nervous — to finally put the game in your hands. Early Access means we can start working even closer with the community: fixing bugs, improving systems and refining the experience based on your suggestions.
So please jump in, play, experiment, and help us grow the game together. If something doesn’t work as expected, or if you encounter bugs, we’d really appreciate you reporting them through the bug report tools.
[/p][p]We know that some players will immediately understand how everything works, while others might feel a bit lost at first. Finding the right balance and making the experience clearer for everyone is one of our main goals moving forward.[/p][p]We may be a little scared of your judgment, but we’re even more motivated to keep improving the game step by step with you. Free Demo & Playtest Update V260310

[p]Hey![/p][p]First of all, thank you again to everyone who has been playing the Playtest version and sending us feedback. It’s incredibly valuable and helps us understand how different players experience the game.[/p][p]We’ve pushed a new update with several fixes (details below) but also, we have updated the free version: Demo V260309 (this is a limited version of Sandbox without the historical part), the small changes.

Important information:
⚠️ Be careful with ELIA! It never wants to work, so hire someone else ;)[/p][p][/p][h2]🛠 Bug Fixes of Playtest version[/h2][p]Here are some of the main issues we addressed in this build:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the dialogue with Gaspard,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Statistics page panel wouldn’t close properly,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed wall color application,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed title of "LOAD" page,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the overlaying the newspaper,[/p]
  • [p]ARCHIVE in archive, the problem of the fake page fixed,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed projector repair behavior[/p]
[p]About the projector…
It turns out our employees had collectively decided that repairing a projector that was literally on fire was simply too difficult. So instead of fixing it… they just stood there watching it burn.[/p][p]We’ve now corrected this behavior.[/p][p]For launch, you’ll see Gaspard suggesting that you call emergency services, and repairing the projector will come with a higher cost. So keep an eye on your equipment! Items wear down over time and doing regular checks can prevent unpleasant surprises.😉[/p][p][/p][h2]What We’re Seeing From the Community[/h2][p]Something very interesting is emerging from your feedback.[/p][p]Players seem to fall into two main groups:[/p]
  • [p]🎮 Sandbox fans
    Players who love the idea of expanding one huge cinema and focusing purely on management, optimization and building the ultimate theater.[/p]
  • [p]🏛 History fans
    Players who really enjoy the historical progression, something they haven’t seen much in other tycoon games, but who are also pointing out many details that still need polishing.[/p][p]
    Both perspectives are incredibly valuable for us.[/p]
[p]Right now our priority is to polish and stabilize the systems that are already in the game, so the experience is as solid as possible for launch.[/p][p][/p][h2]What Happens Next[/h2][p]Once Early Access launches on March 17, we’ll start a dedicated sprint focused on:[/p]
