New trailer and progress update

Development update: Forest and Tundra soon done

Hi I thought I would give an update on the development of the game, since it has been some time since the latest demo update.

The full release version is coming along, and I hope to have it ready for later this year or early next year. I plan to have 3 different maps, 2 of which are hand-crafted challenges. The third map will be a random enemy map where you can use gold to reroll, in case the enemies are particularly bad for your build, or you think some of them are way too good.

I also plan to have 16 different heroes available on release, and aiming for each of them to promote a unique playstyle and approach to the game. For example the next hero I plan to create will be one where the unit you have most of will get a big bonus, but all the other units you have will constantly take damage.

I hope to release a game that is much more finished than MM1 was upon launch, but I am also still planning to update MM2 post launch for some time. Thanks for your patience and I look forward to releasing the full game soonish.

Patch 0.31: Finalizing demo

Patch 0.31:

- Max gold that gives interest from 600 to 500 (from max 60 to max 50 extra gold each round now).
- Some upgrades that can only be upgraded a limited amount now show their progress and max upgrades possible, for example the Frost Shock duration upgrade will show “SPELL UPGRADE 0/5”.
- When choosing new units their special abilities are now updated correctly if you have upgraded them.
- Fixed various incorrect movespeed tooltips.


I hope to have this be the final demo version, The demo updates have been small and slow because I am working on the full version (Tier 4 and Tier 5 units are done now).

Patch 0.3: 2 new heroes added and quick restart feature

Patch 0.3:
- 2 new heroes have been added to the demo: Medela, a ranged healer hero who gets +100% health to melee units but they also have -50% damage, and Magarth, a melee hero who cannot cast spells, but starts with bonus upgrades to melee units, and gains 1 gold each time she kills an enemy unit.

- Added a quick restart feature so you can quickly play again with the same hero/unit/spell combo.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug with Elven Archers getting +20% to rapid fire instead of the intended +30%
- Fixed a bug with Elven Archers Rapid Fire starting with +40% instead of the intended +60%.
- Fixed a visual bug with Gareth regen not disappearing.
- Made it so Panic doesn’t make units go off screen.




Also note that I will not be releasing a prologue, but instead make sure this demo version works well before moving on to prepare the full release version.

0.29f: Fix sell unit bug

Patch 0.29f:
- Fixed a bug where if you sell all units, you can still buy units upgrades.
