House of Legacy Weekly Update Plan (July 21 – July 27)

[p]This Week’s Focus: Edict System & Enhanced Rebel AI[/p][p] [/p][p]It’s time for another content expansion this week (we alternate between enriching noble house content and adding new features). Here’s a summary of what’s coming:[/p][p] [/p][p]1. Edict System – Edicts will now be available, involving noble houses and vassal princes (players from the imperial family can issue edicts themselves). Most notably, the Military Exam is included.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. Enhanced Rebel AI – Rebels will now act more autonomously and trigger more dynamic events, adding to the gameplay depth.[/p][p] [/p][p]3. Further improvements to noble house gameplay.[/p][p] [/p][p]Many players have requested the addition of the Military Exam, and we had originally planned to include it under the edict system. Historically, the military exam was only held during certain periods, so we’ve decided to complete the edicts related to noble houses and vassal princes this week. Additional edicts involving foreign powers and the officialdom may follow in future updates.[/p][p] [/p][p]We’ve also received feedback that rebel AI is currently too simplistic. This week, we are enriching rebel behaviors and adding interesting new events to make rebellion mechanics more engaging.[/p][p] [/p][p]Lastly, we’ll continue to expand the content around noble houses. It’s still a weekly update schedule, so thank you for your patience and support![/p]

Patch Notes V0.7.6 | QoL Improvements, Vassal Enhancements & Bug Fixes:

[p]1. Clan Member Succession:[/p][p]When a clan member passes away, you can now directly assign another clan member to inherit their duty without manually locating their previous role.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. Retainer Succession:[/p][p]When a retainer dies, you can now immediately assign another retainer to take over their position. No need to search the buildings they worked in. (Their attributes — Writing, Might, Business, Art, and skills — will also be displayed.)[/p][p] [/p][p]3. Newborn Setup Panel:[/p][p]You can now assign reading, mentor, food, and equipment directly from the birth screen. No more searching through hundreds of clan members in the genealogy. County Personnel Filter:[/p][p]Added filter options for all skill categories in the County City personnel panel.[/p][p] [/p][p]5. Imperial Edict: Attack Orders:[/p][p]Imperial clans may now command vassal princes to attack a specified city via the Emperor’s “Dispatch Troops” menu.[/p][p] [/p][p]10. Vassal Rebellion Mechanic Update:[/p][p]The stronger a vassal’s army is relative to the Imperial Court, the higher the chance of rebellion and also the risk of being stripped of their title.[/p][p] [/p][p]11. House of Legacy Weekly Update Plan (July 14–20)

[p]This Week’s Focus: Improving Family Operations and Systems[/p][p] [/p][p]This week’s update will primarily focus on optimizations, including the following areas:[/p][p] [/p][p]1. Improved Character Management Flow[/p][p]We’ve streamlined several interaction steps—such as adding manual and automatic training options on the newborn screen, and introducing a task handover function when a retainer dies. These changes aim to reduce the need for players to constantly return to the family tree to manage members or locate a deceased retainer's position.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. Refined Display and Filter Functions[/p][p]This includes new features like skill-based filtering, which has been a popular player request.[/p][p] [/p][p]3. Other System Optimizations[/p][p]For example, in the late game, we’ve increased the probability of auto-matchmaking events.[/p][p] [/p][p]4. Expanded Content for Vassal Prince[/p][p]Additional improvements and features are coming to enrich the Vassal Prince experience.[/p][p] [/p][p]As for performance optimization, which many of you have brought up—here’s a quick explanation: We’ve been working on performance improvements continuously, but it’s not something that can be resolved overnight. Many CPU-intensive algorithms must be simplified, which may compromise gameplay mechanics. We are carefully balancing both sides. Each week, we allocate time to optimize small portions of the codebase, ensuring performance gains without affecting the player experience. You may not feel a drastic change immediately, but please trust that we’re making steady progress.[/p][p] [/p][p]Once this week’s round of optimizations is complete, look forward to some fun and exciting new content coming next week![/p][p] [/p]

Patch Notes V0.7.56

[p]1. Fixed a bug where, during an expedition with insufficient provisions, requesting aid from other noble houses could result in a negative amount of provisions provided.[/p][p]2. Fixed a bug where an excessive number of cattle and sheep on farms caused the game to lag.[/p][p]3. Fixed a bug where private troops did not return after kidnapping attempts at the Courtesan Lounge. It is now possible to lose one or two soldiers instead.[/p][p]4. Fixed a bug where royal women could still be married off after taking in a husband.[/p][p]5. Fixed a bug where clan members’ Charm stats could exceed 100.[/p][p]6. Fixed a bug where already extinct families could still take sides in the establishment of a new monarch.[/p][p]7. Fixed an issue where the number of royal soldiers lost during wars with noble houses and Vassal Princes was inaccurate.[/p][p]8. Fixed a bug where private soldier skirmishes between noble houses could result in a negative number of remaining troops.[/p]

Version Update V0.7.55 | Vassal Prince System

[p]1. The ability to grant or revoke vassal titles to royal family members is now available (can be done after joining the imperial family).[/p][p] [/p][p]2. The emperor can now autonomously grant or revoke vassal titles. Repeated slander may result in the emperor stripping someone of their title.[/p][p] [/p][p]3. After a title is granted, a Vassal Palace will appear on the map. You can click on it to view their personal troops, finances, tax policies, private prison, and more.[/p][p] [/p][p]Players can fund the vassal’s treasury (helps increase troop numbers, but may lead to rebellion) or plead for prisoners.[/p][p] [/p][p]If you’ve joined the imperial family, you can also recruit soldiers (which increases unrest), adjust taxes, and so on.[/p][p] [/p][p]4. Vassals may now rebel. Situations like amassing too many troops, getting their title revoked, or being sentenced to death may trigger a rebellion.[/p][p] [/p][p]5. Vassals may now come to the emperor’s aid. When the royal family is under attack by other noble houses (including the player), nearby vassals are likely to send troops to help.[/p][p] [/p][p]6. Vassals will now automatically send troops to recapture cities within their domain if taken by rebel forces. One of their responsibilities is to defend their own land.[/p][p] [/p][p]7. Vassals will begin collecting taxes from their territories, which increases unrest. Your legacy must also pay vassal taxes based on things like family size, number of servants, farmland, shop income, or even family deaths. (Imperial relatives are exempt from these taxes.)[/p][p] [/p][p]8. Vassals will now automatically recruit personal guards. The better their finances, the more troops they’ll have.[/p][p] [/p][p]9. Vassals will now appoint or dismiss officials within their territories. Having a good relationship with a vassal increases your chances of promotion—falling out of favor may get you dismissed.[/p][p] [/p][p]10. If your family is attacked by another noble house and your local vassal has a good relationship with you, there’s a chance they’ll send troops to help.[/p][p] [/p][p]11. Fixed a bug where the crown prince could marry out of the family. Vassal princes will also no longer marry out.[/p][p] [/p][p]Some parts of the newly added Vassal Prince content are still being refined. We aim to improve both the noble house features and the Vassal Prince system together in next week’s update. Thank you for your patience and support!![/p]
