Dominions 6.29

This update fixes a few bugs and has improvements to the user interface, like improved messages and popups. There are also some improvements to the AI and the performance of huge battles has been improved. There are also a bunch of new stuff for modders as well.

General
  • F9 throne screen now has a popup showing number of claimed AP
  • New launch option: --nouwthrones (to prevent underwater thrones)
  • Battle performance improvement for large battles with spellcasters
  • Can expand unit/commander entries in Income Overview
  • Nexus can show more gates on the map
  • New graphics for gate from Nexus
  • Most rituals can no longer trace through void/non-void planar boundaries
  • Secondary effects on missile weapons didn't always take effect properly
  • Nbr of possible players was calculated incorrect for maps with multiple planes
  • Battle enchantments could remain if enslaved and then killed, fixed.
  • Better messages for Strands of Arcane Power
  • Improved message for Ritual of Rebirth
  • Ritual particle lines on map now shows movement towards destination
  • The key 0 can now also be used to copy/paste orders everywhere

Dominions 6.28

This is a minor update that fixes a few issues with version 6.27. Most notably it was no longer possible to cast rituals that caused events since the previous update.

  • Call God no longer worked if not using shortcut
  • Rituals causing events didn't take effect due to new host targeting check
  • Cast item spells from map didn't work properly

  • Scripting didn't overrule aibadlvl, fixed

Dominions 6.27

This update adds new Thrones of Ascension as well the ability to autosort magic items in the treasury (press ctrl + a). There has also been the usual bug fixes, performance improvements, stat fixes and small improvements. The Utterdark and Haunted Forest global enchantments also got some tweaks, making them a little bit more useful.

General
  • Magic item treasury autosort (ctrl-a)

  • Increased max nbr of thrones to 30/20/10
  • Utterdark now has more shade attacks
  • Press 'b' to select all units with battle fright
  • Disease res can now protect against disease spells too (including plague)
  • Haunted Forest no longer affects plants
  • Haunted Forest creates commander manikins from dead commanders
  • Twilight removed the effects of some magic items too, fixed
  • Battle inconsistency fix

  • The new Praise special ability didn't work properly

Dominions 6.25

This update mostly fixes some bugs, but there are also a few new features and a few new commands for modders. Angel-like beings now have a new Praise ability that will glorify the one true God. This automatically raises dominion in their province, but only if they are in a friendly dominion.

Dominions 6.24

This update continues with some balance changes, but smaller ones than last time. The largest change is probably for Ind, they can now get commanders and shamans when they do mobilize heathens. The shamans are different depending on the terrain of the province. There are also some new thrones, a new spell and new graphical effects for fire spells. Fire spells can now scorch the earth where they hit and meteors can leave craters. There are also the usual bug fixes and new stuff for modders.

  • Ind muster heathen ability more effective and can give commanders also
