10.000+ Wishlists!

Really happy to announce that TEXNOPLAZM surpassed 10.000 wishlists last week!

Seeing a project that I started actively promoting just two months ago reach such a milestone so early is incredibly encouraging, big thanks to all of you who played the demo, wishlist, shared the game and everything else!

I have already resumed work on the rest of the game and developing many cool things that I'm eager to show you once they're fleshed out.

-Fixed a bug that prevented tutorials for showing up past the first level
-Fixed a bug that prevented Input tutorial text from showing up on screen
-Fixed a bug that prevented getting a rank higher than D for Eliminations
-Fixed a bug that hid the right arm of the first person model

TEXNOPLAZM - BIG rework / Demo update

TEXNOPLAZM Development update (July 16th 2024)

THIS UPDATE DELETES PREVIOUS SAVE FILES

Player's combat moveset global rework
All three movesets have a block move and a dodge/air dash move
Added Quick Parry alongside Quickdraw
Added complete info on movesets in the Loadout tab of the pause menu

Stamina is fully restored with a successful block

Global movement rebalance
Global weaponry rebalance, both regarding ammo/durability and damage
Global score and style points rebalance, added new bonus modifiers
Shop items rework, players can repair/refill their current melee weapons and firearms
Both melee weapons and firearms can be thrown at any time
Added map challenges

Enemy AI further enhancements

Added more video options (Crosshair HUD, V-Sync)

Global updates to sound design, visuals and UI elements

TEXNOPLAZM development update

TEXNOPLAZM Development update (July 13th 2024)

Hey there,

Just a quick update to let you know that I've resumed working on the game and I'm in the process of changin some of the fundamentals as I'm still not completely satisfied on the gameplay loop and its fun factor; since the changes are quite substantial it'll take some time for new updates to go live.

I hope to have something ready for testing by late summer, either in the form of a public demo or preliminary private testing with friends and Patreon members alike.

Once I feel I've nailed down the basics of combat the content creation *should* be relatively streamlined, as I have stuff already planned ahead.

In the meantime I'll keep the demo up, even if it's not 100% representative of what the internal build is shaping up to be.

TEXNOPLAZM Demo 1.2 update

TEXNOPLAZM Demo 1.2 UPDATE (June 8th 2024)

  • Delay between punches increased to 0.325s

  • Blaster max ammo further decreased to 40

  • Enemy counterattacks cannot be interrupted by the player

  • Added crosshair HUD elements showing melee weapon durability, firearms ammo and alt-fire cooldowns; the crosshair HUD can be toggled in the Gameplay (previously "Input") options. Default option is set to "OFF"

  • Added 4-hit combos for Punch and Ranged mode primary attacks.
  • Punching an enemy will open up the full combo; the fourth hit launches the enemy in air (Heavy enemies can't be launched) and deals the base damage for punches.
  • Hitting an enemy with a melee weapon will open up the full Melee combo; the fourth hit deals 1.5x the damage inflicted by the current weapon with its primary attack.

  • Punch or Melee combo are reset upon killing an enemy if the last damage received was inflicted by a basic attack with punches or a melee weapon.

  • Downed enemies are briefly invulerable to punch or melee basic attacks and to thrown weapons; gun attacks are unaffected.
  • A successful block in Punch mode now correctly awards 100 points instead of 10.


And maybe other things that I am probably missing at the time of this writing, but nevertheless this will be a cool update.
