Hotfix v1.0.6

[h3]Patch Notes:[/h3]

  • Fixed a softlock that could happen if a country was selected too fast, which took away control from the player.
  • Fixed a softlock with Mo getting stuck in the capital chamber.
  • Fixed softlock that could happen with Mo if you asked him anything before running off somewhere else, and then went back to ask him about something else.
  • Fixed a softlock where if the player died behind crates and Mo reached them there, he would get stuck behind the crates.
  • Fixed the sky box obscuring the view of the Tower when fleeing through the mountains.
  • Fixed a timing issue that might have caused the Questions to not properly trigger in the Capital Chambers.
  • Fixed exploit that allowed the player to get infinite Air by getting into the Capital Chamber and then quickly leaving it.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Mo from being able to look at the player upon loading the game.
  • Fixed an issue where the grave would be in an incorrect visual state if it was already dug by the player.
  • Smoothed out the situation where player wouldn't get the Black whistle in time, to avoid frustration
  • Fixed visual issue with the wall mesh.
  • Duckey can now get faster or bigger depending on how the player names it (all languages have their own set of matching names).
  • If the player only stops the train instead of completely breaking the Bond, the Capital Message in the end will be slightly different.

Hotfix v1.0.3

Greetings, Clerks! Another haul of bug fixes, improvements and Design Tweaks are upon us.

[h3]Fixes:[/h3]
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the player thoughts about the 3 messages found to play multiple times when getting close to Building 1 door.
  • Fixed an issue that made the rocks falling from the cliff often stay stuck mid-air around the destroyed pine tree.
  • Fixed an issue softlocking the player when they died for the first time after seeing the Train's contents.
  • Fixed an issue softlocking the player if they hurried the Train to go as fast as possible before the mandatory full stop happens during the Story progression for the 1st time.
  • Fixed an issue softlocking the player if they went to the Observatory and then back before seeing the Trains' contents.

[h3]Improvements:[/h3]
  • Added a sound que when the air can machine becomes unusable, to highlight the loss of the Air Pressure.
  • Improved the way water turns to blood. Still needs some work to be perfect.
  • Darkened the blood on mouth UI and when player spits it out.
  • Added gibs for the Animals falling from the wall.
  • Added a sound that emphasizes the train passing the Border. Can only be heard after the mandatory full stop happens during the Story.
  • Improved the "Broken Chains" outcome in the Capital Chambers and fixed some inconsistencies that were sometimes present during that sequence.
  • Added the option to skip the Elevator Sequence (available once Player completed the game at least once).
  • Now the Capital Chamber will react to the player spilling bucket contents in there.
  • Mo runs quicker, his dialogue can be skipped faster, and some UI sequences are shortened after player completes the game at least once).

[h3]Design Changes:[/h3]
  • Train will now keep slowing down until player makes the bridge to the Observatory.
  • Slightly increased the time needed before the THRESHOLD happens once player cam uncover what's in the grave.


UPDATE: Hotfix 1.0.4. - 11/25, 3 pm CET
  • Fixed an issue where if you've selected your country too quickly on a second run, your character could become stuck in place.

Hotfix v1.02

Greetings, Clerks! Another haul of bug fixes has arrived at the Border Post.

DISCLAIMER: There was a major issue with how the script for auto-saving was handled. It's now fixed, but if you've got soft-locked before this update — you might still be in that state. We're very sorry, but the only solution in that situation would be to start a New Game.

Good news are — this issue was fixed, which should greatly improve the experience and eliminate A LOT of soft-locks!


[h3]Patch Notes:[/h3]
  • Fixed an issue where Player's mouth UI would show an incorrect amount of blood.
  • Fixed an issue where finishing the Bridge but not pushing it would soft-lock the SaveGame.
  • Fixed an issue where Air Cans would get stuck in the Air Can provider and eventually block the other Air Cans from spawning.
  • Fixed an issue where Mo would get soft-locked if the Player were to get dizzy while he waited for an interaction with them.
  • Fixed an issue where Mo would get soft-locked if the Player discovered the Duck just before witnessing what's in the train.
  • Fixed an issue where the Recycler's damage state would get reset.
  • Fixed an issue that made Mo spam you with an infinite loop of empty messages.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented Mo from congratulating the player on completing a pile of wood.
  • Fixed an issue which prevented the thought 'Question for the Capital' from triggering, locking away the ability to earn the corresponding Achievement.
  • Fixed an issue that led the player to get buried under the mountain of bodies during the THRESHOLD Event.
  • Fixed an issue that made the train slow down to a crawl after loading a save file.
  • Fixed a Player thought not appearing at the right moment — confusing them into thinking that stopping the train should be enough to stop the THRESHOLD and get the "Broken Bond" ending.
  • Added a tracking zoom, which follows the Horn after it crashes into the roof, as many people tend to not notice it landed there.
  • Other very minor fixes.
