We’re super excited to share with you that Evercore Heroes: Ascension, is launching into Early Access on June 19!

The Evercore is shattered, and Lumerea teeters on the brink of collapse. Travel to Castle Everae located in Hydris and meet new heroes, enhance your abilities, and embark on your first missions into Kru- a treacherous region of frozen peaks, glaciers, and monster-infested mines!

That’s right! After a ton of testing, feedback, and polish, we're ready to take the next step. Early Access begins here with more regions, enemies, and of course heroes planned throughout development!

Once a sanction of ancient luum, Stormspire Summit is now raging with dark and powerful corrupted luum upsetting monsters and causing fierce blizzards!

Reports reveal no other than Kryoss Thrashclaw, the troll king, being in the middle of it all holding onto a shard of the Evercore with his giant claws! It's up to you to get that back, but of course..

... in style!!

After the success of our last contest, where winners earnt shards named after them (did you already spot them in-game?!), we are back with yet another competition!

Your mission is simple, queue up for a Co-Op run (either as premade party or solo with others) and get the best time possible beating Thrashclaw on Stormspire Summit!

Prove to us you are the best and we'll mention you and your team on an in-game leaderboard for this run during the start of Early Access!

[h3]When does it run & how do I compete?[/h3]

The contest runs from now until midnight June 16th Irish time after which we'll no longer accept submissions!

To compete we ask you to make a video recording of the full run including the victory screen that holds:
  • The completion time of the run
  • The amount of gold earnt at the end of the run
  • The names of all players in the party - you can do this by clicking the 'hero info' at the bottom right.
Once done you can upload this as public/unlisted video on Youtube and share the link in the dedicated space on our Steam forums.

Demo Patch 2 Now Live | Smoother controls and more!

Thanks again for playing the Evercore Heroes: Ascension demo!

We're excited to bring you another patch full of improvements, fixes, and one very special new opportunity for our players. From enhanced controls to shard tuning and stability improvements, this update moves us one step closer to a more polished experience.

[h2]Keyboard & Mouse Out of Beta[/h2]
  • Improved directional accuracy: The on-screen aim indicator now better reflects your mouse position.
  • No more aim assist: KB+Mouse players now have full control - no more hidden aid!
  • Better facing logic: Ranged heroes should now reliably face the direction you're aiming when attacking.

This is a big step toward giving all input setups the clarity and precision they need. Thanks for your feedback while we worked on it!

[h2]Become Immortalized in Ascension![/h2]
Maxx is back! Castle Everae's fiercest Myti warrior has returned with a brand new challenge - and he's looking for players to step up to the challenge!

Talk to Maxx to learn how you and your teammates can become immortalized in the world of Ascension. It's your chance to make history!

[h2]Shard Updates[/h2]
  • More to Share: Fixed a bug causing the effect not to apply correctly. Also received a balance update to bring it more in line with other Skill Power shards.
  • AZ470 Hypernode: Description updated to clarify that the buff applies to all heroes.
  • Rapid Response Rush: Slightly increased duration, giving you more time to gain stacks - it was a bit too rapid!
  • Happy Gardener: Bloom effect duration reduced to bring it more in line with its intended power (sorry gardening enthousiasts out there!)
  • Parting Gift: Fixed an issue where the shard was interacting incorrectly with objectives.


[h2]Hero & Core Power Fixes[/h2]
  • Fyn's Shield Throw no longer spins out of control - his shield should fly straight now!
  • Double Dash should now consistently apply to players once the run begins.
  • Bloom Eternal and Vengeful Spirit had bugs fixed that were causing unexpected behavior.
  • Beko's Lantern now correctly displaces enemies from where the lantern lands - not from Beko's position. (Thanks to DHaz for the report!)


[h2]UI & Input[/h2]
  • Improved onboarding: A few more helpful cues and tips have been added based on player suggestions.
  • Ultimate keybind fix: You can now properly rebind your Ultimate ability when using Keyboard & Mouse.


[h2]General Bug Fixes & Stability[/h2]
  • Crash fixes: We've resolved multiple crash causes to improve stability.
  • Improved network resilience: We've made the game more resistant to network interruptions that previously caused crashes. More improvements in this area are in progress.

We’ve seen a lot of you out there playing, and we’re committed to making frequent improvements based on your feedback. This patch includes bug fixes, balance tweaks, and some quality-of-life improvements to make your experience smoother - especially in the early stages of your runs!

[h3]Gameplay & Balance[/h3]
Made “Easy” enemies easier: Reduced their damage and attack speed to improve early run pacing and to give you a little more space to learn new heroes.
Reduced base Skill Power and Attack Damage shards. This is in part to make other shards more powerful as they're situational. Part of ongoing tuning for time-to-kill and encounter difficulty.
Thrashclaw HP slightly reduced in both solo and co-op to balance difficulty.
Wallumps and large Kru enemies rebalance: Wallumps the Wicked, Yetis, and large Armoured Rollers are now immune to hitstun/displacement but have reduced HP in solo play. Additionally, Golem Tanks are immune to hitstun.
Parting Gift now ignores barrels: Prevents accidental griefing due to a lack of Luum.
New Soulbound Ultimate Blooms: You now have a chance to get a Soulbound Bloom that grants a 25% increase of charging speed for their Ultimate abilities.

[h3]Hero Updates[/h3]
Beko’s Lantern Pop Skill now triggers Skill Damage shards. This means that while the ability still doesn't do base damage, the skill will now interact with Skill Damage shards. This should give Beko more build varieties to help the little guy out, especially in Solo runs.
Beko’s Lantern Pop Detonation is now centered on the lantern target at activation time.
Beko’s basic attack sequence sped up by ~10%. Helps Beko better dodge enemy attacks.
Lotus AOE Bright Petals now slightly heals both herself as allies: Adds more clarity and utility to the ability.
Ranged basic attacks on Cynder and Beko deprioritize barrels more effectively: This should help improve targeting!
Ultimates are now more reliable: They no longer cancel as easily and won’t consume a charge if interrupted prematurely.

[h3]UI & UX Improvements[/h3]
CloudEE has new messages: Talk to them (hint, it's the little floating robot) in the Hub or in-game to learn more!
We added some additional messaging to explain how to change your Hero on the Solo Map selection so it's not just Lotus in the spotlight!
Victory and defeat screens updated: New icons and cleaner formatting.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
Resurrection fixes: You should no longer be invincible after resurrecting in rare occasions. There is still an issue where some heroes might slide slightly during which we'll work on in a future patch.
Soulbound Bloom fixes: Several Soulbound Blooms were not granting the proper power which you should now see go up!
Fixed several crash bugs — thanks to everyone who submitted reports!!!
Fixed issues with card flipping causing input issues and friends list occasionally not closing with gamepad.
Fixed Wallumps rock throw ending prematurely in some cases. Better hide!
Fixed Shard Collection UI bugs: Categories should no longer disappear after selection.
Fixed NPC VO volume playing inconsistently.
Fixed tooltip mismatches: Shade Slash cost now displaying correctly.
Fixed “More to Share” shard not applying properly.
Fixed “Protein Powder” shard not applying Attack Damage buff properly in some cases when interacting with the Golden Strike shard.
Fixed “Mediport Module” not always applying the proper amount of healing.
Fixed “Chemical Reaction” not always being active for the correct duration.
Fixed “Luum Refund” not displaying the correct amounts of Luum granted.
Fixed “Consolation Prize” not always interacting with Beko properly.
Fixed “Plague Strike” typo in the tooltip.
