[p][/p][p]Hello everyone! Version 1.0.3.0 went live not long ago. In this update, we focused on fixing a number of issues reported over the past week, while also polishing and adjusting several interaction details to improve the overall experience.[/p][p]A huge thank-you to everyone who left comments and reached out to us through the community for more in-depth discussions. Your feedback has been incredibly helpful and motivating, allowing us to better identify problems and refine the game. We’ll continue to closely monitor the experience and do our best to resolve any issues you encounter while playing.[/p][p]As for the much-requested in-run save feature, it’s still under active development and refinement.   • [p]Added guidance so that after obtaining a key, the camera will focus on the corresponding door lock.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted the small-creature effect added by Mutated Pelt: it can now be triggered by other effects that require creatures.[/p]
  • [p]Added informational notifications after interacting with the Altar of Absolution.[/p]
  • [p]Added end-of-chapter prompts for each chapter.[/p]

Roots Devour 1.0.2.1 Update Patch Notes

[p][/p][p]The second post-launch update is now live. We’re continuing to polish the overall experience and have made further optimizations focused on the issues most actively discussed within the community.[/p][p][/p][p]In the latest v1.0.2.1 update, we’ve enhanced the functionality and feedback of the Altar of Absolution, making it easier for players to recover companions who were accidentally harmed. At the same time, we’re aware of an issue where certain hostile characters killed by the player may still appear in later story scenes, resulting in the odd situation of “deadman talking.” This issue is actively being addressed and will be gradually resolved in upcoming versions.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you so much for the lively discussions and feedback in the community. We carefully read and evaluate every suggestion you share. Additional improvements to interactions and overall usability are already in planning and will be rolled out step by step in future updates. Roots Devour 1.0.1.0 Update Patch Notes

Dear Players,
Greetings to you all!
[p][/p][p]After years of development and refinement, Roots Devour is finally meeting you officially today.[/p][p]That said, we must be honest: the launch version still contains some unforeseen issues, which have resulted in a less-than-ideal first-day experience for some players. For this, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies.[/p][p][/p][p]In response to the widely reported issues of card descriptions occasionally disappearing, as well as a potential crash during the ritual at the end of first chapter, we have already released the first official post-launch update, version 1.0.1.0.[/p][p][/p][p]These core issues that affected gameplay have now been resolved. Thank you very much for your patience and valuable feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]We have also noticed that many players encounter the memorable friendly character — the Owl — early in the game and form an emotional connection with her. We fully understand the sense of loss and sadness some players experienced when she died accidentally due to misoperation.[/p][p][/p][p]To prevent similar situations from happening again, in the next update we will add clear risk warnings to dangerous interactions involving friendly NPCs, reducing unintended deaths caused by non-deliberate actions.[/p][p][/p][p]In the current version, if a friendly NPC unfortunately dies by accident, players can go to the Altar of Absolution at the lower side of home(the Altar) that you can spend 500 blood to revive important NPCs such as the Owl. [/p][p]The revived NPC will return to it's original place in game.[/p][p][/p]
