YoloX 1.3.0

This one catches up on a bit of feedback including fixes and QoL buffs. Also added some new community browser options and tooltip support.

This update is a step toward a bigger big one that will feature scriptable crosshairs. Not so long off this time ;)

Several folks asked for more complex create features like animation transitions. Only so much can be done with sliders and buttons so I'm thinking to introduce scripting support to offer full freedom over crosshair design and behavior :)
  • NEW: rewrite overlay to use DX11 + frame catpure. should buff performance and fix inverted on AMD GPUs.
  • NEW: scripted (LUA) crosshairs
  • NEW: bump crosshair size limit to support LPVOs
  • NEW: collection: bound games selector

A few folks reported seeing the UI menu black screening. While I couldn't reproduce it, this "should" fix it ;)

Also made the new user intro message less annoying.

Several folks asked for more complex create features like animation transitions. I'll look into this but it can only be so useful with sliders and buttons. So my thinking is to introduce scripting support to offer full freedom over crosshair design and behavior :)

YoloX 1.2.1

Added a few new features to address issues that came up. Most importantly "The Finals" complaining about YoloX. So a new "Compliance Mode" has been added to make anticheat games like this one happy. This feature is off by default for now, but will likely become the default operation next update.

Also an FPS limiter and VSync option. By default YoloX will now cap itself to 40ps to improve FPS impacts some may have noticed. These FPS impacts, caused by more complex crosshairs, are still considered a bug and will be fixed in a future update.

Otherwise dash action support and a few minor fixes.

YoloX 1.2.0

A large update for the create tab. This introduces an easy mode using a pixel editor with some basic shape generation. This should let folks make basic crosshairs quickly. Alternatively complete mode has several improvements, including improved widgets, and no longer requiring separate layers just to add borders to shapes.

Also added action support for crouch and movement keys (WASD). These have been applied to several crosshairs.

Otherwise lots of polishings and fixings :)

  • FIX: UX: Fullscreen games won't be interrupted by license nag (regular version).
  • FIX: UI: Workshop crosshairs will not sometimes disappear when disabling "sync with steam".

YoloX 1.1.2

This update mainly focuses on feedback from the community. The biggest one is a fix for lag caused by high poll rate mice.

Then several UX improvements: Alerts provide information and a solution if YoloX isnt running optimally. Auto selection makes cursor assignment faster and more intuitive.

Thanks much for this feedback! The goal is to make YoloX the best crosshair app by far. If there's anything you'd like improved, added, or fixed, please don't hesitate to comment :)

  • NEW: Auto Selection: Crosshairs last selected/edited from the main menu will be automatically assigned to the next opened game.

  • PERF: Reduced idle background CPU use from roughly 0.2% to 0.01%.
  • UPDATE: Manually launching the app will now open the main menu.
  • FIX: Performance issue caused by high poll rate mice.
  • FIX: Redraw UI upon certain windows events to avoid a black screen.

Development will focus on crosshair creation. There's quite a bit of feedback in this area. Some ask for more complexity, some ask for simplicity. To accommodate both the following is planned:
