SEDAP! (Demo) - Patch v0.7.7 Notes

Hey guys, Jay from kopiforge here!

With the coming of the new month comes a new patch from us!

Here's what we have for you:
Patch v0.7.7 Notes

Tutorial Updates
• Added camera panning and masking to Stinky Food's dialogue sequence.
 • During the segment requiring players to place an item on a Countertop, players are now unable to pick up the item after placing it down. This is to ensure that the Stinky Food tutorial triggers accordingly.
 • Added a delay between conditions met and dialogue playing for a less abrupt experience.
 • Adjusted the position of dynamic masks in for the Wok's QTE guide as well as missed orders.
QoL Updates
• Players can now swap their held ingredient with a Kitchenware's output if their held ingredient is allowed in said Kitchenware. This works for Intermediate and Multi-Input Kitchenware.
 • Dropped FoodItems (from Mobs, swapping with the ground, Mango Tree, etc.) can now be picked up immediately without needing the player to re-enter its collider trigger.
 • Adjusted dialogue scroll speeds for different languages.
Aesthetic Updates
• Breakable shards now fade out instead of flickering away (plus, they don't fly as haphazardly any more!)
 • Kettle now has a cute little bamboo tray to hold its outputs -- no more awkward rock!
 • Added Countertops to 01-04 and 01-05.
 • 01-05 now has water!
 • Updated the Zone icon in the Pause menu
Bug Fixes
• Fixed a bug where items despawning would cause future items to not be interactable.
 • Fixed a bug where rotation and icon bubble were appearing off-centre for a dropped Mango.
 • Fixed the Adventure Map's zoom feature, where spamming the zoom-in button causes the screen to zoom in at an awkward position.
 • Fixed an issue where the last level of the demo (01-SP) was not loading for some devices.
 • Standardised the naming for Sambal Kangkong.

We are aware that some menus cannot be navigated properly with a controller, and we're working on it. In the meantime, please use a mouse to navigate the main menu.

As always, thank you for playing SEDAP! and please continue to support us!

SEDAP! (Demo) - Patch v0.7.6 Notes

Hey guys, Jay from kopiforge here!

We're pushing a quick small patch to fix some issues:
Patch v0.7.6 Notes

Minor Updates
• Polished the Countertops sequence in the Level 1 tutorial.
 • Fixed the position of the screen mask for the Wok's Cooking QTE in Tutorial Lv1.
 • Increased spawn rate of Chilli Shrub in Level 5 -- more chilli for your Sambal Kangkong!
 • Enabled Steam Remote Play guide in character select for multiplayer -- apparently it was disabled, and we didn't notice (sorry folks!)
As always, thank you for playing SEDAP! and please continue to support us!

And psst... we just dropped a new release trailer with the game's announcement date!

Check it out here!

SEDAP! (Demo) - Patch v0.7.5 Notes

Hey guys, Jay from kopiforge here!

Thank you for all the support with our demo thus far. We've gotten tons of insightful feedback from you guys, and we will be reviewing them and making the necessary changes!

Here's what we've changed in a quick update to the demo:
Patch v0.7.5 Notes

Level Updates
• Reduced Fallen Log interaction range (especially in Level 3, preventing players from using it as a bidirectional path!)
 • Updated Fallen Log textures to indicate one-way direction.
 • Reviewed level colliders for all levels -- you shouldn't be able to run up colliders, and hopefully you won't get stuck in awkward gaps any more!
Tutorial Updates
• The first Cooking QTE dialogue guide will remain until the first cooking phase completes.
 • Countertops will only be enabled when its segment is reached.
 • Only Food on Countertops will rot, and Stinky Food on Countertops have their Despawn Timers disabled to force them to be thrown away.
Gameplay Updates
• HUD now differentiates missed orders from future orders -- missed orders are indicated as dark gray, while future orders are indicated as brown.
Technical Updates
• Audio now continues playing when the application is out of focus.
 • Standardised the volume of BGM during cutscenes.

We are aware of other issues with the game right now and will be tackling them in future updates.

Many have asked about online multiplayer -- we are working hard on it, as well as a fixed camera split option for our friends with motion sickness. We appreciate your patience in the meantime!

As always, thank you for playing SEDAP! and please continue to support us!
