The well has become... wider?

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hello fellow Well-Dwellers![/p][p]Unwell has just received a solid injection of new content![/p][p][/p][p]Content[/p][p]• New interactive models! Including our very own well, which now greets us right at the beginning. With the new model, the logic of interacting with it has also changed.[/p][p]• A new UI element that shows how long you can withstand the grip of the well.[/p][p]• New letters from previous residents of the well![/p][p]• The protagonist reacts more often and more intensely to what is happening around him. He also comments on it more frequently.[/p][p]• Lots of new interactive elements![/p][p]• New visual effects![/p][p]Improvements[/p][p]• Using items on environmental objects is now easier.[/p][p]• More light during the escape from... a certain place.[/p][p]• Entering points of interest is now smoother.[/p][p]• Improved item pickup detection. Picking up objects should now be easier.[/p][p]• Expanded fatigue system. Each weapon now has its own wear level.[/p][p]• Expanded attack mechanics. Each weapon now has its own attack charge time.[/p][p]• Improved climbing on larger stairs.[/p][p]• The structure of levels available in the demo has been expanded and refined.[/p][p]• More light directed toward places worth paying attention to.[/p][p]• Added the ability to speed up dialogues.[/p][p]• Cycles occurring in the well have been balanced.[/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]• Improved item combination logic. Unwell has just received a solid dose of fixes and improvements![/p][h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]More light! Many areas are now better illuminated to make navigation in the depths of the well easier. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still watch your step.[/p]
  • [p]Just before the alarm begins, the protagonist will now feel it coming — giving you a sense that danger is approaching.[/p]
  • [p]Lots of texture improvements![/p]
  • [p]We’ve updated the splash screens to better reflect the content of the demo :)[/p]
  • [p]There are now new areas where, if the protagonist gets obscured by objects, they’ll automatically become visible again to help you stay aware of what’s happening.[/p][h3][/h3]
[p][/p][h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]The OST has been restored during death scenes — and most of them now have a cutscene![/p]
  • [p]We’ve fixed the ice-skating tendencies of one of the many unfriendly inhabitants of the well.[/p]
  • [p]And, of course, many other small fixes.[/p]

Update from the Depths – leave your mark!

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Greetings, Well Dwellers! Unwell has just received a powerful injection of fixes and improvements![/p][h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Some weapons, when broken, will now drop their main parts for reconstruction. Lost it? Don’t worry… it will return when you least expect it.[/p]
  • [p]The Well remembers more now. Items you leave behind will persist in later cycles.[/p]
  • [p]The loading screen is now more vivid![/p]
  • [p]The dream sequence has become even more... dreamy. Hard to describe, but you’ll feel it.[/p]
  • [p]Throwing items is easier now, with a helpful end marker showing where they’ll land.[/p]
  • [p]The Well shines a little brighter in certain places. You’re welcome.[/p]
  • [p]Several materials have been visually upgraded.[/p]
  • [p]You can now see the protagonist’s ghost moving behind objects.[/p]
  • [p]The lamp is no longer so greedy for its oil.[/p]
  • [p]Some descriptions were refined to make your descent a little smoother.[/p]
  • [p]More interactable objects await your curiosity![/p]
  • [p]More items to discover![/p]
  • [p]Some not-so-friendly Well Dwellers have become... more dangerous. You have been warned.[/p]
  • [p]Additional optimization work has been done for better performance.[/p]
[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]The current level name, displayed during entry or when saving/loading, now properly appears above other UI elements.[/p]
  • [p]POI logic has been fixed — no more stuttering.[/p]
  • [p]You can no longer combine the lantern with oil and other items simultaneously, and the lantern refilling messages now display correctly.[/p]

  • [p]During the alarm cycle, hiding in a locker will no longer cancel the alarm, but you can still feel relatively safe there. Or… maybe it’s better to go hunting for items?[/p]
  • [p]The hostile creatures in the well have grown even smarter. Sometimes it will already be too late to escape.[/p]
  • [p]Many more events are now included in the save system, so you won’t need to repeat them.[/p]
  • [p]Movement physics have been polished again – guiding the protagonist through his descent should feel smoother.[/p]
  • [p]New Points of Interest have been added – it’ll be harder to miss certain events now.[/p]
  • [p]The Fear mechanic has been reworked. The protagonist now needs to stare at a threat for longer before starting to lose it.[/p]
  • [p]Sounds have been added for weapon crafting and weapon breaking.[/p]
  • [p]Additional sounds have been added for hiding.[/p]
  • [p]Creature sounds have been expanded.[/p]
  • [p]The in-game cursor should now properly stay within the game window.[/p]
  • [p]Fullscreen interactions have been improved – spoken text should remain on screen while choosing responses.[/p]
  • [p]The alarm warning has been improved and is now more visible.[/p]
  • [p]The lantern has received a serious boost![/p]
[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where after a weapon broke, the remaining ones would stop working.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the save manager so that the protagonist’s progress is properly saved in certain situations.[/p]
  • [p]Restored item pickup sounds.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted items lying on maps so they’re easier to pick up.[/p]

Update from the Depths — The Demo has more content!

Hello, fellow well-dwellers.

Unwell demo just got... deeper.

[h2]New Content[/h2]

  • Expanded exploration in the Pride level – more paths to take and more room to outsmart enemies.
  • Additional items in the Pride level to help you hold your ground.
  • More hiding spots – use them strategically!
  • Improved visibility: more walls are now transparent in tight areas.
  • New encounters and events across all demo levels.
  • Fresh points of interest waiting to be discovered :)

Overhauled protagonist animation logic for smoother gameplay.
