FEEDBACK after the Next Fest

[p]Hello, astronauts![/p][p]We have collected all the feedback for demo 14: Overmind and processed it.[/p][p]We thank all the players who have left feedback about the game. We pay special attention to bug issues, as we want to provide you with a comfortable and interesting space adventure. [/p][p]In this post, we will answer the most popular complaints about the game. 

[/p][p]CRASHES
Unfortunately, we cannot fully understand Crash's mistake. Crashes occur for some players, but we cannot reproduce the specific circumstances under which errors occur.  If you encounter a similar problem, please email us. [/p][p][email protected][/p][p]Tell us in detail about the error that occurred, if possible, attach a screenshot or screen recording, and also write the configuration data of your PC. 

[/p][p]PERFORMANCE ERRORS 
According to reports, some players were experiencing performance issues. The most popular mistake is the lack of components that meet the minimum system requirements of the game. Please note: 14: Overmind does not support 10th series graphics cards!  


BUGS
Thanks to the Games of Being, we have received a large number of bug reports and have already begun to solve them. We apologize to those for whom bugs have become a serious obstacle to enjoying our game.

The "twist" is triggered when the gamepad is connected. Demo version 14: Overmind DOES NOT SUPPORT controllers. If the error is reproduced without the gamepad, please email us. [/p][p][email protected][/p][p]Tell us in detail about the error that occurred, if possible, attach a screenshot or screen recording, and also write the configuration data of your PC. 

[/p][p]LOCALIZATION ERRORS
As the reviews have shown, there are grammatical and spelling errors in the demo. Although there are few of them, one way or another we have to pay attention to them. Thank you for your interest in our debut project![/p][p]What is also important? For us, the Next Fest is our first experience of participating in such a big event. Since 14: Overmind is not our only project, the experience gained from contacting a mass audience with this particular project is extremely important. The main result of "Next Fest" is a huge amount of feedback. We have received a lot of messages via Steam, mail and social media. A wide variety of players reported to us about difficulties in passing, gameplay problems and bugs. [/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to you, we will be able to make our game better, and by the time the game is released, create that space adventure that is so lacking![/p]

Having collected enough reviews, we are absolutely moderate - 14: Overmind is interesting for players![/p][p]As a development team, we sincerely welcome any attention to our game. It is important to us that 14: Overmind does not go unnoticed, and we would appreciate any support. It's especially good if you add the game to your Steam Wish List or write a review (by the way, the fixes from the first big patch were based on player feedback) — this greatly helps the development of the project and gives us an additional boost to work on creating a new video game world.[/p][p]In addition, in the near future we plan to publish an exclusive video with a demo version of the game, which will be attended by developers Maxim and Vladislav. [/p][p]For several months, we have been collecting feedback from players, as well as analyzing the gameplay experience of YouTube bloggers.

Thanks to every one of you who made reviews or streamed 14: Overmind. Because of you, we are able to make the project better.

[/p][p]Let’s go through the list of changes in detail.
[/p][p]CRAFTING AND INVENTORY[/p][p]Most feedback pointed out that the game had excessively long timers for waiting and recharging items. This issue has been fixed. The timers for crafting components and items have been removed.[/p][p]The mechanics of the recycler have been reworked, fast crafting and item creation options have been added, and the ability to recycle components into ores was introduced.[/p][p]Added the ability to drop items from the inventory.
[/p][p]GAMEPLAY IN OPEN SPACE[/p][p]The analysis of debris has been significantly sped up.[/p][p]New types of routes for magnetic fields have been added.[/p][p]A navigation trail from the character has been added for easier reading of reverse routes.[/p][p]The animation of the character mounting the Zero Cycle has been sped up.[/p][p]The impact effect of the Zero Cycle colliding with objects in space has been enhanced.[/p][p]Timers for anomaly activation and deactivation have been added.[/p][p]The character’s starting health has been reduced.
[/p][p]GRAPHICS AND SOUND[/p][p]We have expanded the game’s sound design library. Now the game features a much wider variety of sounds that immerse you in the atmosphere of cold space.[/p][p]Some sound effects have been adjusted for volume.[/p][p]Visual effects have been added.[/p][p]Environmental models in the starting location have been improved.
[/p][p]SPECIAL FEATURES[/p][p]Many players complained about the inability to remap keys. Special attention was drawn to the mouse wheel click, which caused an “acceleration” effect. We have fixed this issue. Now keys can be remapped at will.[/p][p]Added the ability to open the demo’s Steam page directly from the game by pressing the F6 key or clicking the icon in the menu.[/p][p]Subscribe to our social networks to learn more about the development of 14: Overmind.
