0.7.2 Patch Out Now!

[h2]Good Day Riders! [/h2]

Patch 0.7.2 has been released and fixes a number of bugs, introduces a new save system, interacting with the horse merchant no longer cause to game crash, and includes many other bug fixes that provide a smoother gaming experience.

We've implemented a new save system, which you can see in the video below - it allows you to save manually at various points on the map by shooting (or walking past) the gong!

Thanks again to everyone who sent us bug and crash reports, as well as general feedback! We’ve read everything, and thanks to your, we’ve been able to identify and fix numerous issues!

We'll be continuing to bug fix and polish the game for the time being, but we'll be talking more about our plans for Early Access in the near future!

[h3]Gameplay:[/h3]
  • Implemented visual, interactive save checkpoints that show when auto-saving happens and can also be shot to save manually. Gooooonnngg. Discovered checkpoints are now also shown on the map.
  • Resting now also triggers an autosave.
  • Achievements "Shrine of the Ancients" and "Money to Burn" now activate appropriately.
  • Removed time based degradation of cargo except for items that are labeled as perishable.
  • Update to breeding balancing, relating to bonuses and max attribute averages.

[h3] World & Environment:[/h3]
  • Interactive save checkpoints were placed all over the map.
  • Environmental improvements to the northern and north-eastern side of the map, including for navigation and level design.
  • Fixed that Ovoos cannot be cleared a second time.
  • Fixed that Ovoos aren't applying fog in their area when resetting.
  • Fixed several floating rocks and torches.

[h3] Mission & Progression:[/h3]
  • Fixed being unable to close the "Mission Complete" screen.
  • Fixed being able to accept Cartographer missions multiple times.

[h3] Horses:[/h3]
  • Fixed horse merchant only offering starter horses. (Finally investing in new horses after taking our money, huh?)
  • Fixed multiple horses spawning in stacks.
  • Fixed horses spawning/strolling in water and swimming further in.
  • Fixed being unable to mount the horse in some locations.
  • Improved horse behavior on stone bridges.
  • Fixed an issue where you were unable to give your horse a stamina item
  • Fixed horses turning their head away from the camera in some preview scenes

[h3] UI & UX:[/h3]
  • Added map icon for discovered save checkpoints on the world map.
  • Updated the icon for autosaving.
  • Fixed that savegame slots show last-saved timestamp in wrong time zone.
  • Fixed that savegame slots without an active mission were labeled as "new game".
  • Fixed crafting screen displaying failed craft as if it succeeded.
  • Reverted premature descriptions for new training triggers, a future update will introduce them properly.

  • Fixed active item collection HUD remaining stuck when rapidly pressing "E".

[h3] Visual & Art:[/h3]
  • Potential fix of horses appearing bright/glitched in previews.
  • Fixed river textures at shores.
  • We are 95% sure that the super glitchy horse previews are now fixed. If it still happens maybe do not tell us because it will make our Lead Technical Artist cry. (Still tell us though please)
  • Performance:
  • Globally disabled the GPU Ribbon feature on AMD hardware to fix performance issues during rain storms.
  • Updated PSO Shader Cache Bundle with new shaders to prevent PSO hitches

  • Horse Care interactions.
  • Backpack to inventory item movement.
  • Buying (starter) horses from merchant.
  • Changing maps.
  • Potential fix for the foal reveal freeze issue.

We want to thank all of you, not just those who have left a review, but those who have played, who have reported bugs, given feedback and just generally been awesome!

It's been amazing to see so many of you playing the game, and your reactions to it. We especially love seeing all the horses you've been breeding, and the (often hilarious) names you give them.[/p][p][/p][p]We also want to put out a special thanks to our QA team and our Dev team, who have been working tirelessly since launch to identify and fix the bugs and issues you've all been running into - they really are amazing, and the game simply couldn't exist without them!

This is, however, just the start of our journey together. We're going to be continuing to patch the game throughout Early Access, with new features and content joining all the bug fixing we're doing at the moment! EA really is a process we take with all of you, and the game is shaped by the feedback and ideas you give us!

0.6.4 Hotfix Is Out Now!

[h2]Hello Everyone![/h2][p][/p][p]We've just released a small hotfix Patch which fixes the issues with the Horse Merchant causing crashes or only selling the starter horses.

Thanks so much to everyone who reported these issues, we're only able to fix them so fast because you do![/p][p][/p][p]The full patch notes are as follows:[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where the horse merchant was only selling the starter horses even if the mission was completed[/p][p][/p]

[h2]Hello Everyone![/h2][p][/p][p]It's patch day! We've just pushed another patch live, and it fixes a huge number of bugs, and has some rebalancing around cargo degradation and rain damage. [/p][p]We'd like to thank each and every one of you for the reports and feedback you've been giving, we've been reading it all and the bug reports have allowed us to identify and fix so many issues! [/p][p]We'll be continuing to bug fix and polish the game for the time being, but we'll be talking more about our plans for Early Access in the near future! Developer Diary #25 | EA Launch: Review & Improvements

What an Early Access Launch!

Two weeks after launch, we have over 900 user reviews on Steam and a “Very Positive” rating. Multiple patches have been released so far (with another big one coming up this week), and we are incredibly thankful for your support of The Legend of Khiimori Early Access.

We have released multiple patches and hotfixes since launch to improve the experience and another big one is coming up this week!

Thank you for reporting bugs, for your passion and your patience!

A lot of valuable data has reached us, which has helped us significantly in making the game better, meaning more fun and stable. Also, we are working on the way horses are trained as not everyone is happy with the way it is currently implemented.

But that’s not all! We will not only continue polishing the game, multiple content updates are coming as well, bringing you new features and experiences, with Wild Horse Taming being the one our community is most looking forward to.
