Christmas Event & Winter Sale with 20% discount!

[p]Hello everyone![/p][p]Winter and Christmas are here, and in Tower Factory we’re going to celebrate double![/p][p]First, the game will be 20% off during the Steam Winter Sale. If you don’t have the game yet, or you want to gift it to a friend for Christmas, this is the perfect time![/p][p]Second, from today, December 18th, until January 5th, Christmas will be present in Tower Factory’s atmosphere! Chests will turn into presents, and trees will have Christmas lights and decorations (although if you’re the Grinch and hate Christmas, you can disable all of this in the options menu). [/p][p][/p][p]Regarding Tower Factory’s development, my intention is to release a new update before the end of the year where I will add a save profile system and the option to “Save & Exit” during runs, so you won’t have to leave your computer on if you have a run in progress and need to leave home![/p][p]I’m very happy with the progress and with the reception each Tower Factory update has been getting. During this first year, the game has evolved a lot compared to launch: 24 tower upgrades, bosses, unlockable mechanics, 2 new stages, new towers and upgrades, game modes… a lot of things! But there’s still plenty of work to do throughout 2026 until we release the 1.0 version that we’re ALL waiting for.[/p][p]Remember you can check the game’s roadmap here:
[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Finally, once again, I want to remind you that Tower Factory’s development is going much better thanks to your feedback. As always, I encourage you to join the official Discord channel, where both I and other players talk about the game daily.[/p][p]Thank you very much to everyone who has been here during this first year of Tower Factory, and Merry Christmas![/p][p]Gius Caminiti[/p]

Small update v0.4.1: Fast Forward & optimization

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]Tower Factory v0.4.1 is now live![/p][p]The highlight of this update is a brand-new feature: Fast Forward. You can now speed up the game during a run, perfect for those moments when you’re waiting to gather more resources or just want the action to move along a bit faster.[/p][p]This is something many of you have been asking for, and after giving it a lot of thought, I believe it truly benefits the game.[/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Alongside this new feature, overall performance has been significantly improved, on both GPU and especially CPU.[/p][p][/p][p]A few days ago I published an updated roadmap leading up to version 1.0. In the next update (v0.4.2), I’ll be adding an in-run save system (Save & Exit) as well as global save slots that you can switch from the main menu. That way, you can start a brand-new run from scratch without needing to delete your current progress.[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, I’ll be reading your feedback and suggestions both in the Tower Factory community forums here on Steam and in the official Discord server (you’re all invited to join!)[/p][p]That’s all for now. I hope you really enjoy the new update,[/p][p]Gius Caminiti[/p][p][/p]
CHANGELOG
• [p]Fast-forward: You can now increase the game speed during a run using the buttons below the time UI or the keys assigned in the settings menu.[/p]
 • [p]Nights until boss are now shown in the Dark Fortress menu.[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue that significantly worsened performance compared with version 0.3.[/p]
 • [p]Added further performance improvements, especially on the CPU side.[/p]
 • [p]The boss “Emperor Frostbeak” now summons one fewer minion.[/p]
 • [p]Slightly tweaked the enemies that appear in some level's boss waves so they better match the boss (difficulty should be the same).[/p]
 • [p]The level name now appears in the pause menu.[/p]

New Early Access roadmap!

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]First of all, I hope you’re enjoying the new 0.4 update for Tower Factory: Winterlands! I’m gathering your feedback to make small tweaks and adjustments, as well as to plan future updates.
[/p][p]That’s exactly what I want to talk about today: the future of Tower Factory. As many of you know, Tower Factory was released almost exactly a year ago, and since then I’ve added a lot of things: game modes, tower upgrades, bosses, unique rewards, new levels, new enemies, balancing… but there are still a few things left before Tower Factory leaves Early Access and includes all the content I planned from the beginning.[/p][p]At the end of November 2024 I published a roadmap with estimated dates and updates. Those of you who saw it will have noticed that, as often happens, the dates have slipped. That’s why today I want to share an updated roadmap, with more realistic dates and a clearer plan for the remaining content leading up to Tower Factory 1.0.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Just a reminder: it’s only me working on this project, so development isn’t as fast as we’d all like. On top of that, unfortunately this year I had some unexpected personal issues that further slowed development. Even so, I believe the new dates are quite realistic and should be achievable![/p][p][/p][p]As always, I’ll be reading your feedback and suggestions both in the Tower Factory community forums here on Steam and in the official Discord server (you’re all invited to join!)[/p][p]

Tower Factory: Winterlands. PLAY IT NOW!

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]The new Tower Factory: Winterlands update is live! I’m really happy to finally release it after four months of hard work and a few tough moments along the way. I truly hope you enjoy all the new content![/p][p][/p][p]Tower Factory: Winterlands adds 2 new levels set in a completely new biome. You’ll also encounter 10 new enemies and 2 powerful bosses that, as always, will grant you a hefty reward if you manage to defeat them.[/p][p]This new biome isn’t just a visual change but it also brings a fresh mechanic: The Snowfall and the Flame! With each passing day, the Snowfall grows stronger, weakening both your towers and your production. You’ll need to find and activate the Altars of the Flame to counter these negative effects and even unlock powerful upgrades that can completely turn a run around![/p][p]I’ve also added new upgrades to the upgrade menu, slightly lowered the difficulty of Wanderer’s Glade (Level 4), and tweaked map generation to make everything a bit more balanced (more info on this below).
[/p][p]The next update will be mid-sized and focused on adding a save system. I’ll also include multiple save slots, so you can start a new run from scratch without deleting your current progress.[/p][p]In the coming days, I’ll publish an updated roadmap with the target dates for future updates. Broadly speaking, what’s left for version 1.0 of Tower Factory is the Endless Mode, Tier 3 buildings/towers/resources, and Levels 7, 8, 9, and 10.
In the meantime, I’ll be reading your feedback and suggestions both in the Tower Factory community forums here on Steam and in the official Discord server (you’re all invited to join!)[/p][p]
That’s all for now. I hope you really enjoy the new update,
Gius Caminiti

Tower Factory Security Update

It's recently been found by Unity that there is a vulnerability as old as 2017 that could potentially be exploited in games made with Unity. This update patches that issue.

Although this vulnerability is old and there are no know issues realted to it, I highly recommend updating your game as soon as possible.

That's all! Tower Factory Update 0.4 is very very close!
