Two additional heroes will be introduced during the EA period.
No two journeys in Deathless. Tales of Old Rus are the same, as the game features deep strategic variety, combat modifiers, and exciting secrets to uncover.

Deathless. Tales of Old Rus inspired by games like Slay the Spire is set in Belosvet, a fantasy world home to bogatyrs, wizards, and sorcerers, amusing little spirits known as nechistiks, and myriad creatures most foul. The world of Belosvet is inspired by Slavic folklore and has been carefully and lovingly redesigned by artist and author Roman Papsuev, the best artist of Europe in 2008 according to the Eurocon convention.

The game also features music from leading composer Dmitri Silantyev, who is known for his work on Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Armored Warfare, and Skyforge.

Game Features:
  • A Whole New World: The first video game adaptation of the original universe by artist Roman Papsuev and featuring music by acclaimed composer Dmitriy Silantyev.

  • Fearsome Fairytale Foes: Clash with revenants and khuds, fight a yaga, chat with a vodyanoy, and even befriend rusalkas… or maybe not — those sneaky water nymphs are deadly foes.

  • Play Again and Again: Highly replayable gameplay complete with combat modifiers and strategic variety.

  • Triumphant victory or crushing defeat?: Unlock new cards and battle modifiers by the end of each playthrough to make your future runs even more exciting.

  • A unique path for each hero: Watch as the heroes’ tales intertwine in surprising ways. Complete quests, meet memorable allies, and confront inimitable foes. Defeating bosses will prove to be quite the challenge.

  • Manipulate your foes
  • Evade damage
  • Ignore Armor
  • Slow, stun, and control foes in other ways

Mermaid? No, it's a Rusalka!

In the Tales of Old Rus, rusalkas embody all the darkest and most malevolent traits. Because they don’t have males of their own kind, these unfortunate female spirits, who wish to "live like everyone else", lure other men. They are rather foolish and therefore can accidentally kill someone out of carelessness.

Rusalkas by Roman Papsuev have an interesting appearance: long hair with ends pointing upwards as if they are always underwater; bright stolen earrings, seaweed wrapped around their necks like jewelry, and deep black eyes. It is their eyes combined with their voice that serve as the main tool of hypnosis.

At the same time, rusalkas have rough, hard skin and sharp claws, meaning that if they do not achieve their goal through enchanting singing, they can resort to hand-to-hand combat.
In the first game based on the Tales of Old Rus, rusalkas will be exactly as Roman described them: beautiful, alluring, and dangerous. Just trust us: you wouldn't want to encounter them face-to-face!
