Microtopia - v1.0.7a Update

Hello everyone!

We have fixed some more things since the last update, thank you for your feedback!

[h2] Microtopia - v1.0.7a Update [/h2]

  • Fixed flight animation of later gynes.
  • Easier building requirements for the recycler.
  • Fixed a tiling problem in a toxic wasteland ground
  • Imrpoved dissolver and larva booster functionality to prevent them from getting stuck
  • All dissolver recipes cost only 1 acid now.
  • Fixed an error with plants to breaked being able to save.
  • Fixed acid press wind down animation.
  • "Ghost trails" (command trails that lost their owner) are now cleaned up on load and will be less spooky.
  • Fixed a few recycler yields, giving the proper liquid.
  • Fixed unmineable ancient deposits (they will be removed)
  • Fixed a nullref with launched ants, causing them to be stuck mid air.
  • The stockpile gate is unlocked way earlier in the tech tree and no longer costs yellow diamonds.
  • Placing building on an ant ending its command trail doesn't freeze the game anymore
  • Fixed build progress billboard showing inside a few buildings.
  • Added a message when a building requires a dispenser.
  • Fixed dissolver being able to receive acid directly.
  • Fixed possibility of the facility getting stuck with some recipes.
  • Recycler should now pile-up its yield a bit more efficiently.
  • Fixed sentinels not being able to mine.
  • Added a few missing mining animations.
  • Fixed inventor T3 incorrect minimap mesh layer.
  • Fixed crystal duping with wafer in the deconstructor.
  • Fix for a save breaking bug when you've completed all tasks.
  • Increased the amount of blubber found in toxic mold.
  • Decreased blubber required for acid, increased amount of acid gained.
  • Made the idea requiring acid collection easier.
  • Fixed ants skipping action points when high speed/low framerate
  • Increased fluid container capacity, changed how to sphere size is calculated.
  • Fixed jet drone not being able to do anything.
  • Changed main trail description in English, no longer costs the notorious yellow diamond.
  • Tweaked recycler yields for a few ants (watch out some might drop acid).
  • Smaller changes and optimizations.

Microtopia - v1.0.6a Update

Hello!
A short message from us, the developers of Microtopia! We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming activity on the game, either here or on the game's Discord since Microtopia’s release one week ago. It’s fantastic to see all the ideas and suggestions coming in. We’re also very happy with the friendly and helpful tone of communication among everyone!
We want to assure you that we’re keeping a close eye on all bug reports. Some of the urgent ones have already been fixed and are addressed in this quick-fix patch. (find the changelog below)
There are also some other fixes and changes being currently tested, but those one felt urgent enough to push them today!

  • Fixed two instances of possible savegame corruption
  • Added settings: VSync, FPS Limit, World Volume, Invert Cam
  • Render scale setting isn't ignored anymore on game start
  • Can now scroll to top part of the tech tree when using small/tiny UI Scale
  • Floor Tile Eraser now also removes incomplete floortiles
  • Fixed broken wafer recipe

Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks for the warm welcome you've given Microtopia! We're really happy to see that you're enjoying the game! Your kind words are really great to read.

We also want to thank you for all your feedback, either here on the forums or on the game's Discord. It helps a lot, and it allows us to make the game better and fix some bugs that might've gone through our testing nets!

  • Fixed a few wrong translations
  • Added missing credits
  • Fixed a bug with the counter gate not working and causing not being able to save after having started a new colony without first quitting the game.
  • Fixed a bug with empty pod workers being able to block the gyne cocoon, halting its progress.
  • Fixed the tech tree showing a black screen on small resolutions.
  • Rearranged some things in the tech tree, timer gate and caste gate are easier to unlock.
  • Made "Flying larvae" objective easier.
  • Fixed workshop collider
  • Fixed "new" UI element displayed on gate while it should be gone.
