Delay/Demo & Key Info!

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]Some of you might have seen this coming but we’ve decided to postpone the game. To be transparent: we’re currently working with a PR agency, and their advice was to wait until Silksong’s release date announcement. Like many of you, we didn’t expect that to happen so soon![/p][p][/p][p]At first, we thought we could still launch in October or November, but with so many games moving to Q4, the competition has become pretty intense. The exact date isn’t locked yet, but the release will land no later than after the February Next Fest, most likely sometime between January and March. We’ll keep you updated as soon as the agency sets the new release date.[/p][p][/p][p]The good news: since we now have a bit more time, we’ve decided to prepare a proper demo! Originally, the plan was to go straight to release, but we think this will be a great way for you to get a first taste of the game. Expect more details soon.[/p][p][/p][p]We can also confirm a couple of things many of you have asked about:[/p]
  • [p]The game will be priced around $10, with fair regional pricing.[/p]
  • [p]It’s more ambitious and longer than Nocturnal 1.[/p]
  • [p]The game will be available in 11 languages, we've recently added Polish & Turkish.[/p]
[p]We can’t wait to share the demo with you and hear your feedback![/p][p]And feel free to join us on Discord![/p][p][/p][p]Cheers,[/p][p]Gabriel[/p][p]The Sunnyside Team[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Latest trailer:[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Options & Accessibility features

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well! First of all, thank you so much for helping us spread the word about the game — we've seen a big spike in wishlists, which is honestly amazing!

But that’s not the main reason for this update. We’re now entering a long polish phase, where our goal is to push everything to the max to ensure a smooth, bug-free release that feels complete (one of the perks of self-publishing, haha).

So we’d love to hear from you: what features, game options, or accessibility settings would you like to see added? Your feedback will help us make sure the launch is as smooth as possible for everyone.

Here’s a list of features already implemented in the game:

Controls:
Full keyboard/controller remapping
D-pad mode (swap D-pad and left joystick functions)

Graphics:
Resolution settings
V-Sync
Render scale
Brightness / Gamma
Texture quality

Audio:
Master volume
SFX volume
Ambient volume
Music volume

Accessibility:
UI scaling
Subtitle size and color options
Colorblind modes (via Ubisoft Chroma)

Options:
Screen shake intensity (Reduced / Normal)
Language selection (10 available languages)

[h3]EDIT: Community suggestions that we will add to the game. Thanks![/h3]
- FPS limiter (60)
- Speed-run options
- Ultra wide monitor support
- Controller rumble setting: None, Low, Normal.
- Health bar layout (HP bar positioned at the bottom-left or top-left of the screen)

Feel free to propose anything you have in mind — we'll do our best to integrate everything needed!
Cheers,
The Sunnyside Team
