DEMO PATCH #40 - BUGFIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

Hey everyone!

Build 40.1 has some fixes to bugs but also some nice tweaks.

[h3]Here are the changes for this patch:[/h3]
[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹New Gift - builders can grab all materials at once.
🔹Calling on the wildlings button is back
🔹You can now see the level of villagers in the villager list.
🔹Tooltips are added in some places for better understanding and cleaner design.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Villagers now stop when hovered over making it easier to fulfill prayers and interact with them.
🔹More powers generate alignment.
🔹Giftmenu is changed for a better overview and to be more gathered in one place.
🔹The alignment bar is always showing now.
🔹Small faith reactions happen less often now.
🔹Converted enemies now go directly to your base and join your camp instead of being wildlings for a while.
🔹Tweaked what actions give you good/ bad alignment

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Some performance improvement.
🔹You can now see info on skeletons.
🔹Bonus stats (Sickness, speed boost, etc) are cleared when villagers die
🔹Wildling health no longer shows decimals.
🔹The villager list would glitch around
🔹Alignment could go beyond the bar to the good side, making it seem like bad actions made no difference
🔹Raise dead now also work on enemies.
🔹Enemies would not get converted to your base.
🔹Tutorials showing the wrong Language
🔹Some languages could not be displayed

The game still has some bugs so please report anything you find and let us know what you think.

🔹We're focusing on fixing issues first, but then we'll add more gifts, prayers and also some traiding.

DEMO PATCH #39 - GODPOWERS & ALIGNMENT + LOCALIZATION

THE NEW PATCH IS NOW LIVE ON THE MAIN BRANCH

Hey everyone!

Build 39 is now here and something many of you have waited for!
More God powers, but that's not all! This patch is packed with new features and bug fixes!

[h3]Here are the changes for this patch:[/h3]

[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹GODPOWERS - 6 new god powers + all the powers can be upgraded!
🔹ALIGNMENT - Your actions now move your alignment and determine what power you can get.
🔹NEW SKILLTREE - The skill tree is completely revamped with new functionality for alignment.
🔹LOCALIZATION - Added localization to the game, please try it out and let us know if there are issues.
🔹NEW GAME QUESTION - before starting a new game you will be asked to be sure.
🔹VILLAGER LIST - Prayer & Gift indicator can now be seen on the villager list
🔹FOOD CATEGORIES - You can now choose the different food types in the inventory menu
🔹NEW UI - we reworked the general HUD UI, but there's still stuff that needs to be updated.


[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹CONVERTING ENEMIES - Increased how much faith you get from answering prayers making it easier to convert enemies.
🔹EASIER SELECTION - Tapping on an enemy/messenger required a too-fast tap
🔹SORTED PRAYERS - Won't trigger prayers that are not relevant yet.
🔹PRAYER PROMPTS - Removed prompts for enemy prayers.
🔹CONVERT CAMP - When a camp no longer has any villagers it now acts as if it's destroyed
🔹BUYING WILDLINGS - Wildlings cannot be bought with food, they come randomly to your base.

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Fixed bug where villages carrying invisible item
🔹Fixed bug where Boulders would do damage over a wide area
🔹Healing a dead villager made them broken - half-alive and unrevivable.
🔹Archer would break when walls weren't on both sides.
🔹Starving villagers assigned to Banner after Attacks [BUG LINK]
🔹soldiers didn't attack the last enemy wall
🔹Tutorial Menu bugged on ultrawide screen [BUG LINK]
🔹When followers lose faith, the job building that they had gets bugged [BUG LINK]
🔹Enemies could walk past the player's walls
🔹Quick-tapping on a carried resource made the villager drop it but continue as if it still held
🔹Power buttons show that they have a cooldown when loaded from save sometimes.
🔹when pressing on an enemy villager in the beginning the info text displays the wrong message
🔹Composter building could be built on top of itself

The game needs a lot of balance tweaks now, so please let us know what you think.

DEMO PATCH #38 - BUG FIXES & TWEAKS

Hey everyone!


Okay, so after last week's massive update, we focused on balance tweaks and bug fixes this time, so it's not a major update.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Messengers stay a bit further out from the altar
🔹Messengers ask for 50-75% of existing resources instead of future resources
🔹Camps have a set amount of people based on how far away they are from you, they no longer increase.
🔹Villagers start praying during the evening as they reach the altar instead of standing there and waiting for night

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Workers who were bringing resources to their building dropped them when they got shocked and then grabbed new ones (same when dropping them in the storage)
🔹Dead villagers got flipped up-right
🔹Enemies that turned into wildlings as they were electrocuted bugged out
🔹Dead villagers had prayers
🔹Killing messenger on the way home with lightning made them slide along the ground
🔹Killing wildlings made them bug out
🔹Revived characters got an empty prayer
🔹Walls could be placed in enemy camp
🔹Dead villagers continued to have prayers and lost their faith
🔹Animal spawner zones ended up in enemy camps
🔹Clicking the green arrow did not move the villagers
🔹The status of enemy camps was not saved
🔹Grass and bushes don't seem to disappear when you build over them
🔹Unfinished buildings could still be broken by lightning.
🔹Dropping a corpse underground will leave it dangling.
🔹Carpenters did not seem to repair broken buildings.

🔹We're already on our way with some more god powers and are hoping to post that next week, and hopefully early next week on Experimental

DEMO PATCH #37 - GIFTS, RACES & FAITH

Hey Everyone!

After many weeks without updates, we are so happy to announce that the new patch is finally here!
This one is packed with new content and major changes, we're excited to hear what you think.

[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹GIFTS! - As you level up now you'll be able to pick a gift that can be granted to one of your followers to make them unique.
🔹Prayer bubble! - now you'll easily see who has what prayer with an icon above their heads.
🔹FAITH - You can now see how much Faith the followers and enemies have in you.
🔹ELVES & ORCS! - Elves and orcs have joined the world of liftlands and can become your followers!
🔹CONVERT ENEMIES - enemy camps have elves or orcs instead of goblins and can be converted if their faith in you gets high enough, they will automatically come to your camp.
🔹DESERTING FOLLOWES - if your followers lose faith in you they will leave and join another camp!
🔹CURSOR TRAIL - player Cursor now is more part of the world
🔹REACTIONS TO INTERACTIONS - Villagers will now increase in faith if you interact close to them and has a react animation

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹CONVERTING WILDLINGS - instead of grabbing them and dropping them on the altar you now just have to interact with them and get their faith high enough for them to automatically join you.
🔹More specific colliders for buildings - will be noticeable when clicking on them and when arrows are shot.
🔹FOOD FROM ANYWHERE - villagers can now eat from anywhere in the world instead of having to run and grab them from inventory. (Experimental)
🔹Tweaked behavior of enemies in their camps to be more spread out and move more slowly.
🔹IMPROVED PROMPTS - prompts are displayed with the character's faces to recognize them more easily.

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Well and composter no longer generate resources when not built.
🔹Performance improvements
🔹Picking up retreating enemies caused them to bug out

DEMO PATCH #36 - PRAYERS

The prayer patch is here


Hey everyone!
So another build is here and we're closing in on the follower's depth, they will now have prayers that can be answered to generate faith (XP) More types of requests will come soon too!

[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹 Prayers - Followers will now have prayers you can fulfill to generate faith.
🔹 Enemy camp banners - enemy camps now have banners for easier recognition
🔹 Brand new pause menu with controls and tutorial menu.
🔹 Followers now have an animation when working on buildings.
🔹 Enemies can hold torches.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Altar can no longer be destroyed, instead enemies steal resources.
🔹UI color tweaks.

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Goblin no longer slides when killed
🔹Fixed a bug with the rating
🔹Carpenters now move to the next building if the first one doesn't have resources
🔹Followers would slide when eating while praying
