[p][/p][p]Has everything that was planned for this period been implemented? Not quite; indie development rarely goes exactly as planned. Still, the game is in a much stronger state now and will continue to improve.[/p][p][/p]
2026 Q2 Roadmap
[p][/p][p]The main focus of the upcoming updates in Q2 will be Dungeons, starting with the Abandoned Mines, hidden deep in the iron quarries. Long ago, the Boneweavers tunneled through these caves to reach ancient graveyards and crypts, slipping unseen past the spirit beasts that patrolled the surface. For you - these tunnels will soon become an endless source of loot, challenges, and experience![/p][p]
Another notable update planned for this period is a revamped character creation system. Instead of the 3 pre-defined options, you'll be able to choose your character traits yourself, customizing your hero to fit your playstyle and intended role.[/p][p][/p][p]As always, there will be many other things, like QoL features, new items, skills, and glyphs, as well as other systems that don't have a specific priority yet and will be released when ready. Stay tuned![/p][p][/p]
Public test builds
[p][/p][p]Want to play the new content early? Check out the public-test branch: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2896380/discussions/0/707749927473924596/ - it will receive updates days or weeks ahead of the live branch. Be sure to share your feedback on the forums or Discord![/p][p][/p]
Spring Sale
[p][/p][p]Grab Beyond the Map at 30% off! Keep discovering, experimenting, and sharing your ideas - together, we'll make it even better.[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.11
World generation
• [p]New worlds will have more points of interest, including a Portal on each island (inactive until you reach it). [/p]
  • [p]New worlds will also have a single, larger, updated snow island. [/p]
  • [p]New worlds and unexplored areas of old worlds will now generate objects using an improved distribution pattern, resulting in more resources and a more natural look. [/p]
  • [p]Inactive dungeon entrances (not yet accessible) are now present in iron quarries in both old and new worlds. Get your characters ready - dungeons are coming in one of the next patches![/p]
Solo Self-Found
• [p]This is a challenging mode intended for experienced players, rewarding you with a special set of unique achievements.[/p]
  • [p]It is enabled per character on the character creation screen.[/p]
  • [p]Such characters are bound to a single world on Hard difficulty. Other characters cannot visit this world.[/p]
  • [p]This mode can be disabled for a character, converting both the character and their world to regular ones.[/p]
Raids
• [p]Killing a raider grants +20% experience gained for 1 minute.[/p]
  • [p]Killing most of the Full Moon raiders grants +20% chance to find a legendary item for 1 hour.[/p]
Death recovery
• [p]When you die on Hard difficulty, you can now choose to revive with equipment, arrows, and consumables automatically retrieved from nearby containers, starting with those closest to your bed. This lets you keep a backup set of gear in case you die during a raid on your base.[/p]
  • [p]If that doesn't help and you can't survive a Full Moon raid, you can now choose to skip it instead of reviving. The remaining damage from the raid will be dealt to your structures and objects across the world, possibly destroying them.[/p]
Other QoL
• [p]Cauldrons can now pull ingredients from nearby containers.[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.10
Map & Mini-map
[p][/p]
  • [p]Both have a new style.[/p]
  • [p]Both now show rafts.
Note: rafts built before this update won't be visible on the world map until you get close enough to load them (once).[/p]
  • [p]The mini-map now shows enemies. Additionally, it flashes when raiders are nearby.[/p]
  • [p]All characters now automatically mark points of interest on the map (Pirate can still see them from further away).[/p]
  • [p]Points of interest now can be crossed off. They are also crossed off automatically when looted.[/p][p][/p]
Tools
[p][/p]
  • [p]Iron tools are now available.[/p]
  • [p]All tools now have new harvesting-related stats.[/p]
  • [p]Metal tools now can be upgraded (like armor and weapons - first at the Anvil, then using the Spellforge).
Note: there's no new Hoe yet (it's coming later in a farming-focused update)
Note: there are no enchants for tools yet.
    [/p]
  • [p]Harvesting objects with tools now grants experience.[/p][p][/p]
Misc
• [p]Raids are now less frequent.[/p]
  • [p]Raft no longer requires a Workbench to build.[/p]
  • [p]Rested buff now lasts longer when received while Sheltered.
Note: This is an early version of the Comfort mechanic coming in future updates.[/p][p][/p]
Supporter Pack
• [p]Is now available![/p]
  • [p]This is a DLC with bonus content for players who wish to support the game's development.[/p]
  • [p]It includes artwork, music, and one cosmetic item.[/p]
  • [p]Visit the store page for more info:[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.9
Smart Loot & Inventory
• [p]It's now much more likely to loot the correct armor type for your current build (determined by the balance of Strength, Agility, and Intellect you currently have, including buffs).[/p]
  • [p]To make looting even better, the Inventory is now 8 slots larger.
    [/p]

    [/p]
