Demo Patch 0.9.2

[/p][p]A new demo patch was just released, fixing some issues.[/p][p][/p][h3]Changes[/h3]
  • [p]Death Character: Fixed an issue where the bus could become unusable if the character died and was revived while entering it.[/p]
  • [p]Death Character: Fixed a bug where the Scythe's blade animation would not reset correctly after being revived.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Damage falloff for melee weapons sometimes incorrectly applied when hitting environmental objects (like cars).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: A funny bug that caused large enemies to fly erratically through the air upon death instead of properly disintegrating. (We might bring this back as a feature! :D)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Pause menu could become unresponsive if buttons were spammed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Black screen during the loading screen if buttons were spammed[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Loading screen background would sometimes not scale correctly[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Flavour texts were not correctly displayed in Japanese[/p]

Demo Update 0.9 + Next Fest!

[p]Hello Survivors! [/p][p][/p][p]Next Fest just started and we celebrate it with an updated demo! A huge thank you to everyone who has jumped in, played, and shared your valuable feedback with us so far.

Check it out![/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Now, let's get right into what's new![/p][p][/p][h2]The New Reaper on the Road[/h2][p]We added a fourth character! Unlock this new character by completing a tough in-game achievement.[/p][p]As Death, you'll wield the iconic Scythe, a brutal melee weapon perfect for crowd control. The scythe also allows the Death to revive after taking fatal damage to give you a crucial second chance.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Child's Play and Mass Destruction[/h2][p]We've added two new items with a crafting process that makes perfect sense.
[/p][p]The Yo-Yo: A new trinket you can find on your travels that provides a passive reload speed buff. Its effectiveness increases the further it is from your weapon in your inventory. The yo-yo is contained in item pack 4.
[/p][p]The Chainsaw: As everyone knows, the primary component of any quality chainsaw is a yo-yo. Find a yo-yo on the road, then use it at the workbench to manufacture this loud, deadly, zombie-shredding machine. Simple![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Other changes[/h2][p]Besides the new content we made the following changes since version 0.8.3.[/p]
  • [p]Improved: Our smallest pixel font has been updated to a more readable version that now includes support for a wider range of languages.[/p]
  • [p]Performance: Reduced molotov impact particles[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: When you hit a group of enemies with one melee attack, the first enemy struck will take full damage. Each additional enemy hit by that same swing will now receive slightly reduced damage.[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: Reduced knife damage[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: Increased explosion radius of explosive powerup[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: Nerfed baloon pump melee size buff (and also fixed a bug where the wrong value was displayed in the tooltip)[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: Increased spike ring damage of boss + damaging while inside ring[/p]
  • [p]Balancing: Changed amount and logic how additional mobs are spawned for boss[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: When playing with controller the character didn't face in the walking direction (when not shooting)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Sometimes boss arena couldn't be left if destroyed building pieces were in front of buss[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Left handed melee weapon not rotating correctly[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Missing SFX for molotov impact[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Returning to main menu would auto select the Discord button (if playing with controller)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Drill description broken in portuguese[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: Several text overflows in different languages[/p]
  • [p]Changed: Language selection moved to "display" category in settings (and made it first setting)[/p]

We've just released the first patch for the demo!

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Added: German, Italian, Spanish (Latam) and Portuguese translations.
  • Improved: End-of-run stats are now aggregated.
  • Improved: Added a subtle animation to the "craftable" bubble for the workbench button.
  • Fixed: Some item descriptions were outdated.
  • Fixed: Zombies were running through some cars in the highway blockage.
  • Fixed: The magnet circle no longer appears blurry or faded when moving.

Hi survivors,

We've just released the first patch for the demo!

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Added: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Turkish translations. The Simplified Chinese translation has also been updated in this process.
  • Improved: The round-end stat display is now a vertical list instead of a square grid for better readability.
  • Balancing: Rarity scaling for loot found on the map should now be slightly higher.
  • Balancing: The Merchant will now offer higher rarity items as the player's level increases.
  • Balancing: Buffed the rocket launcher with a bit more damage and a slightly reduced reload time.
  • Fixed: An issue where exploding barrel telegraphs were sometimes shown multiple times.
  • Fixed: Some instances of overflowing text in various languages.
  • Fixed: Power-up tooltips incorrectly appearing in other panels (e.g., inventory) when playing with a controller.
  • Fixed: Dynamite inappropriately appearing on the boss map.
  • Fixed: The controller's right stick unintentionally opening and closing the recipe panel.
  • Fixed: The boxing glove was only triggering once per attack instead of for all enemies hit.
  • Fixed: The character select screen could not be closed using the Escape key.
  • Fixed: The max zombie flesh setting was not saving correctly.

Changes since Playtest

For everyone who played the latest playtest already, the following changes were made in the demo version:
  • Improved: Added audio feedback when upgrading an item
  • Improved: Added telegraph to exploding barrels
  • Balancing: Weapon damage overhaul
  • Balancing: Enemy health increase per threat leavel increased by 25%
  • Balancing: Elite enemies scale their speed faster and standard enemies scale their speed slightly faster
  • Balancing: Buffed pressure cooker. Higher radius and damage scales with player level
  • Fixed: Reroll was possible in non-airdrop inventories
  • Fixed: Zombies getting stuck sometimes
  • Fixed: Zombies walking through some cars on some maps
  • Fixed: "Killed boss" bonus was granted in subsequent runs, even though no boss was killed
  • Fixed: Workbench not navigatable with controller on first open
  • Fixed: Inventory placement sometimes skipping tiles with controller if item is 2 tiles wide or high
  • Fixed: Flashing tooltips when navigating the stash with controller
  • Fixed: Reaper increasing its speed when threat changes (shouldn't happen)
  • Fixed: When activating a powerup with LT + X the character would also dash
  • Fixed: Item selector shapes sometimes stuck in strange rotations
  • Fixed: Auto language setting detection not reliable
  • Fixed: Several text overflow / scaling issues in languages with longer texts

Loot, shoot and mow down zombie hordes in a bullet heaven fever dream. Embark on a deadly roadtrip, battling from stop to stop, fueling your bus and fight to escape. Get your inventory management kick when that new loot slot in your backpack fits just right.
