[p][/p]
Quality of Life Tweaks
• [p]Added a Roll Counter to the Victory screen so you can flex (or reflect).[/p]
• [p]Tooltips now have better formatting and legibility for both troops and spells.[/p]

Knightica Demo - Next Fest Update!

Hello everyone!
First of all, we wanted to thank you for the support you've shown for the demo of Knightica! We're very happy to see that you are interested in the future of the game!
We also thank you for all you feedback, either here or on Discord, which helps us improving the game further!
Speaking of which, thanks to this feedback, bug reports, and analytics, and since the Next Fest is starting tonight, we've made a first patch with different changes!
Please find everything that's changed below, and thanks again for playing Knightica!

Knightica Demo - v0.9.6 Changelog
General
• Changed the victory flow of the demo (after the “Thank you for playing,” sum up of your army!).
• Improved Succubus tooltip for better clarity.
• Added an option to disable Screen Shake for players who prefer a more stable visual experience.
• Improved game localization across various languages.
Balancing

Troops
• Succubus was overperforming, so we’re reducing its impact in battle:
• Reduced the explosion radius of Succubus projectiles (2 ⇒ 1.75).
• Reduced damage of Succubus projectiles (35% ⚔️ ⇒ 24% ⚔️).
• Necromancer’s ability to spam Zombies was too strong in prolonged fights:
• Increased Zombie spawn cooldown (7s ⇒ 10s).
• Salamander had an overwhelming synergy with Spirits, making it too easy to stack buffs:
• Reduced Salamander buff copy percentage (200%/400%/600%... ⇒ 200%/300%/400%)
• Burrowers now have a higher chance to provide Defensive Nut or Power Nut, increasing their strategic value.
• Dealer’s ⚔️ gain on a lucky roll was a bit too high:
• Reduced ⚔️ gain when rolling a 6 (3 ⚔️ ⇒ 2 ⚔️).
• Meteor Artifact was slightly overtuned in terms of damage output:
• Reduced Meteor Artifact attack damage (15% ⚔️ ⇒ 10% ⚔️).
Enemies
• Spider Queen was underwhelming compared to other major threats:
• Increased Spider Queen attack damage (60 ⚔️ ⇒ 70 ⚔️).
• Increased Spider Queen Defense (350 ⇒ 385).
• Tentacle Lord was too easy to defeat, so we’re making it more durable and aggressive:
• Increased Tentacle Lord Health (1000 ⇒ 1200).
• Reduced attack cooldown (6s ⇒ 3.75s) but adjusted its damage accordingly.
• Increased tentacle Defense (100 ⇒ 200).
• Demon armies in the second half of World 2 now have increased power to maintain difficulty scaling.
Souls
• Hustle now increases Reroll cost by 8 (was 3) to prevent excessive reroll abuse.
• Elitist now reduces the cost of Epic troops added by 2 (was 4) for better balance.
• Agony now gives +3 Gold per turn (was 4) to bring it in line with other economy options.
• Enhancement now gives +3 Gold per Enchant/Artifact equipped (was 2) to make it more rewarding.
• Sacrifice now grants 125% of the ⚔️ and 🛡️ of the sacrificed troop, making it a more valuable high-risk, high-reward choice.
• Wisdom has been simplified:
• Now gives +4 Gold when any troop reaches Level 5.
• Now gives +8 Gold when any troop reaches Level 10.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed an issue with the Commander bag not displaying correctly.
• Fixed an issue where the game could softlock when using Flawless on Boss Battles.
• Fixed an issue that caused Sentinel effects to proc despite the level not really being gained.
• Fixed an issue where the Chaos Lord could push enemies away when flying toward them.
• Fixed an issue where you could die with Agony.
• Fixed an issue where you could launch the Demo in an early Hard mode.
• Fixed an issue when displaying Troops or Treasures in Trinket selection.
• Fixed an issue where taking Recruit or Experienced Help as Start Effects was not giving any troops.
• Fixed an issue where you could still buy and hover over items in Events.
• Fixed an issue where HUDs weren’t updating correctly when the Princess was placed on the field.
• Fixed an issue where the Princess could give her Max Level buff while on the bench.
• Fixed an issue where the Necromancer was incorrectly interacting with Spirit.
• Fixed an issue where some HUD elements would stay on-screen forever.
• Fixed a bug where hovering the Spider Queen tile while merging could create a conflict between HUDs.
• Fixed a bug where you could collect multiple Souls, causing sounds to trigger multiple times.
• Fixed a bug where Troops could be duplicated on the Bench.
• Fixed a bug where Troops could sometimes disappear from the Bench.
• Polish localization: Troop names are now in Polish, not Spanish (>_
