1.1 update - The Cascade - live now!

Update 1.1 is now live.
[p]With a delay - which I apologize for. [/p][p][/p][p]We've named it 'The Cascade Update' because of the infinite difficulty progression. Initially the feature was internally called 'Corruption' - due to our inspiration being the corresponding system in Last Epoch. But then Luneyl - our amazing Lead Dev who is actually keen at naming stuff - proposed this one, and it sticked.[/p][p][/p]
The last major update
[p]First things first - this is the last major update for Titans. We'll probably do some hotfixes and balance tweaks. And we owe you guys a new map - it's also gonna be released (hopefully in March this year). But no more major features, no new monsters, no new spells.[/p][p]We promised you two big updates - here they are. [/p][p]In the initial plans we also mentioned controller support among few other things. That plan has been changed and won't be done. Plans change, and we reconsidered and rescoped as we thought would be best for the game. [/p][p][/p][p]We might decide to add to or tweak something in the game in the future, but that's not planned and most likely won't happen.[/p][p][/p]
Why stop supporting Titans?
[p]Our game development adventure is currently in no way, shape or form able to fulfill our dream - to make it a fulltime, main job for the team. [/p][p]Continuing advancing this game is both stupid business-wise and something we don't want to do anymore.[/p][p]So we're not constrained by business or to say bluntly - money-related goals. Which has a very good side - freedom! We can do whatever we want. [/p][p]And surely we have ideas. So, basically, we want to start making another game.[/p][p]With a lot of lessons learned, small but extremely cozy community, and the belief that we can make fun games.[/p][p][/p][p]So in the next few months we're starting a pre-production of our next game. I'll spoil it a bit - think Dominions 6 / Conquest of Elysuim 5 combat mixed with Titans' meta-progression. And with mod support. [/p][p][/p]
The Cascade Update - changelog
[h2]Gameplay:[/h2]
  • [p]Cascade difficulty! Starts with level 41 and increases by 1 with each Adventure victory. There is no upper level limit, and be careful - monsters do scale![/p]

  • [p]Your party can now have up to 6 characters, but if it has more than 4, enemies will be much stronger;[/p]
[p] [/p]
  • [p]Legendary items! They have unique stats, passives, can teach you some spells or have different basic attacks;[/p]

  • [p]Alongside Legendaries can drop Horseshoes. It can be used in the Fountain to permanently increase character Skill and Attribute Points. So a form of a slow but still 'unlimited' player char progression - theoretically you can max out everything![/p]

  • [p]Exit door will now be showed after 15 minutes spent in dungeon, even if you didn’t find it yet;[/p]
  • [p]Trapped Chests will have one more surprise in them;[/p]
  • [p]Explosive barrels are more visible;[/p]
  • [p]Added level filter to inventory;[/p]
  • [p]Added ability to lock inventory items. Locked items cannot be sold.[/p]

  • [p]Monk abilities are now usable with Staff skill weapons;[/p]
  • [p]Resource pickups now scale with dungeon level;[/p]
  • [p]Fists now scale with stats.[/p]
[h2]Localization:[/h2]
  • [p]Added French localization;[/p]
Fixes:
  • [p]Fixed Sharpshooter Grand Master skill increasing True Miss Chance instead of decreasing it;[/p]
  • [p]Fixed inventory items list glitching when last row has only 1 item;[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Goblin Magus botching spells while on cooldown/recovery/stunned/frozen;[/p]

Update 1.1 delay

[p]Hello guys,[/p][p][/p][p]Alex 13 here. This is to let you know that we are late with Update 1.1. But we're alive and working on it. Our efficiency degraded somewhat due to the electricity issues we're facing these days, but we've also overscoped (again). [/p][p][/p][p]But the update is already in the finishing state. All major features are there, we need to finish updating the localization and balancing. [/p][p][/p][p]We are aiming to release it somewhere in February - so this month.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience,[/p][p]13 and DDG team. [/p]
