SAVE Mission 2 is now open!

Hello, everyone!

The long-awaited Early Access release is finally just around the corner!
Before the launch, the final demo version patch has been applied, and with this update, Mission 2 content has been added.

🏗 Mission 2 Content Added
  • The second operation, Artifact Retrieval Mission, has been added.
  • A new monster, a relentless, pursuing beast, now appears in Mission 2.
  • Three new moving artifacts have been added as part of the Mission 2 objective.
  • New escape methods, including lifeboats and the required items for operating them, have been added to Mission 2.
  • A new area is now accessible in Mission 2.
🏗 Changes to Mission 1
  • The location and shape of the maze walls in the latter half of Mission 1 have been altered.
  • The location of the flame anomaly has been modified.
  • The locations of important key items in Mission 1 are now fixed and easier to find.
  • Interactable box objects outside the ship that were previously available in Mission 1 can now be interacted with in Mission 2.
👾Monster Improvements
  • The HP of humanoid monsters has been adjusted.
  • The timing and distance for humanoid monster attacks have been fine-tuned for more accurate hit detection.
  • A sound notification has been added when humanoid monsters drop room keys upon death.
⚖️ Balance Adjustments
  • The drop rates and quantities of items in Mission 1 have been adjusted.
  • The prices of certain equipment and items in the shop have been adjusted.
  • The sale values of currency items have been modified.
🔫 New Weapons Added
  • The '9mm Tactical Light Pistol,' which is a standard pistol with a tactical light attached, has been added.
  • The '9mm Silenced Pistol,' a standard pistol with a suppressor, is now available.
  • The 'Tactical 9mm Silenced Pistol,' a pistol with both a suppressor and a tactical light, has been added.
🛠️ Other Added Features
  • Missing sounds for some interactable objects have been added.
  • A cassette player object, which can be used to lure monsters, has been introduced.
  • A rest feature has been added to the base camp, allowing you to recover HP.
  • A revival feature has been added to the base camp, allowing you to revive fallen teammates.

As we announced last Friday, Demo Patch 4 has now been released!

We are preparing for the Early Access launch and plan to update the demo version twice with ongoing content improvements.

In Demo Patch 4, we have made a major update, significantly enhancing Mission 1 with extensive improvements.

🏗 Mission 1 Level Design Improvements
  • Reworked some accessible areas in Mission 1.
  • Certain locked doors are now open.
  • Added new ladder interactions to access certain areas.
  • Added floor plans on each level to help with navigation.
  • Added new signs and decorative elements to the environment.
  • Adjusted the interior layout of some areas.
👾Monster AI & Spawn Improvements
  • Adjusted spawn locations for humanoid monsters.
  • Added new monsters along with new spawn points.
  • Beast-type monsters no longer appear in Mission 1.
  • Enhanced AI behavior—humanoid monsters now actively track and attack players.
  • Previously inactive humanoid monsters can now be attacked, and they drop items when defeated.
⚖️ Balance Adjustments
  • Adjusted attack power & HP of humanoid monsters.
  • Increased tactical knife attack range from 0.8m → 1m.
  • Rebalanced item & equipment prices in the shop.
  • Slightly reduced player movement speed.
  • Adjusted stamina drain and recovery rates.
🌌 Anomaly Adjustments
  • Removed all time-based anomalies.
  • Removed anomalies that caused sanity loss and led to time-over situations.
  • New anomaly: Fire anomalies now appear at specific locations when triggered.
  • Sanity-draining anomalies will not appear until the next update.
  • New anomaly: Walls materialize at specific locations upon player arrival.
  • New anomaly: Dark smoke now appears in certain areas, obstructing visibility.
⛏ Item Spawn Improvements
  • Adjusted spawn locations for mission-critical items.
  • Added hint items to help locate mission objectives.
  • All guest room keys are now lootable from humanoid monsters.
  • Added new types of breakable objects.
  • Randomized breakable object locations for each playthrough.
  • Rebalanced item drops from breakable objects.
  • Added interactable objects on the ship exterior, which have a chance to drop items.
🔧 General QoL Improvements
  • Locked doors now display a “a key is required” message when interacted with.
  • Key mission items now trigger a detailed item view when acquired.
🛠️ New Features
  • Added random matchmaking.
  • Players can now create and join public rooms via the Public Join menu.


With Patch 4, we have improved various aspects of Mission 1, including level design, monster AI, balance, and anomalies.

SAVE Early Access Launches on March 27th!

The long-awaited Early Access version of SAVE will finally be released on March 27th, Thursday at 2 PM (UTC)! 🎉

We sincerely thank everyone who has been waiting for this moment.

Please be aware that the Early Access version is not the final version of SAVE.

We will continue to improve the game and enhance its quality based on your feedback and experiences, gradually bringing it closer to its full potential.

Your valuable feedback will play a crucial role in enriching the game and increasing its polish.

Please feel free to share your thoughts on what you enjoyed, areas that could be improved, and any suggestions you have!

Many players have already played the first operation – Ship Search – in the currently available demo version.

Based on your feedback, we are continuously improving the game to provide a more immersive experience.

As a result, two major patches are scheduled before the Early Access release:

Demo Patch 4 – March 17 (Mon)
  • The first operation will be significantly enhanced, providing an even more polished experience.

Demo Patch 5 – March 24 (Mon)
  • The second operation will finally be added. Take on a new mission!

* Once Early Access is released, the demo version will no longer be available.

To provide a more stable and optimized experience, the content from the demo will be included in the Early Access version with improvements.

Additionally, new content and features will be regularly added, offering you even more challenges and fun. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Last Tuesday, we wrapped up an incredible week at Next Fest, where we had the opportunity to share the SAVE demo with you all.

We’re truly grateful to everyone who took the time to play and provide valuable feedback. Your insights have been instrumental in helping SAVE grow and improve.

With Demo Patch 3, we’ve made balance adjustments, fixed various bugs, and implemented several improvements.

[h3]Patch 3 Notes 📋[/h3]
⚖️ Balance
  • Increased the Tactical Knife’s attack power from 30 to 50.
  • Reduced the attack power of humanoid monsters from 20 to 15.
🌌 Anomalies
  • Adjusted the timing and locations of anomalies that cause sanity loss.
  • Modified the sound range of anomalies that affect sanity.
  • Slightly increased the influence range of sanity-draining anomalies.
  • Adjusted the placement of fire anomalies to appear more naturally.
⛏ Item Spawn Improvements
  • Repositioned destructible objects that were difficult to break due to their placement.
  • Adjusted the drop rates of items from destructible objects.
  • Reduced the number of guest room keys found in areas like storage rooms, showers, and restrooms.
🏞️ Environmental Adjustments
  • Fixed an issue where lightmaps were displaying incorrectly in certain indoor areas.
  • Adjusted lighting in some indoor areas.
  • Changed the flooring of the 4th-floor hallway to a carpet texture.
  • Added directional signs in certain background areas.
🔉 Sound Adjustments
  • The sound balance of various interactive objects has been adjusted.
  • The sound balance of monsters has been adjusted.
  • The sound balance of some equipment has been adjusted.
🔧Other Changes
  • The interaction UI for turning off the radio in the base camp now displays the text "Turn Off Radio."
  • The interaction range of the "Start Game" interactive object at the base camp has been expanded.
  • The cancellation range for game preparation at the base camp has been expanded.
  • Adjusted the texture of certain beast-type monsters.
  • Renamed the 'Revive Syringe' item to 'Panic Revive Syringe'.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Spectator Mode HUD was not visible.
  • Fixed an issue where players couldn't enter Spectator Mode after dying.
  • Fixed an issue where door handles remained interactive even after the door was opened.
  • Fixed an issue where the game did not properly exit under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where hallways suddenly disappeared when moving away from exterior doors on the 3rd and 4th floors.
  • Fixed an issue where sanity-related sound effects would cut off unexpectedly.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Return" text translation was not applied correctly.

SAVE Demo Patch2 Notes

Hello everyone!

Since the release of the SAVE demo last Thursday, we have carefully reviewed and considered all the valuable feedback we've received from many of you.

Once again, we’ve realized our shortcomings and are quickly working on improvements based on your feedback!

Most of the improvements are being prepared for the upcoming early access version, but we’ve also made some adjustments in this demo patch.

Demo Patch 2 mainly addresses issues related to mental attacks, as well as optimizations for monster VFX and lighting. Several bugs have also been fixed.

👁️ Anomalies
  • Anomalies that decrease mental health can now be removed by striking them with a knife or gun.
  • The locations and timing of the anomalies that decrease mental health have been adjusted.


⛏ Item Spawn Improvements
  • Certain mission objective items now spawn randomly within the same area instead of at fixed locations.
  • More room keys can now be found in areas like the warehouse, shower rooms, and bathrooms.
  • More currency items can be obtained in rooms, and there's a lower chance of finding equipment items.


⚙ Settings
  • Fixed an issue where the shadow resolution setting wasn't working correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the display selection option wasn't functioning properly.
  • Fixed an issue where settings options were displaying incorrectly in the settings window.


🎞 Cinematic Improvements
  • A fade-in cinematic has been added when entering the game.
  • Improved UI that was displaying incorrectly before the game success and failure cinematics.


💥 VFX Adjustments
  • The VFX form when hitting monsters has been modified.


🔉 Background Ambient Sound Fixes
  • Added ship engine sounds in the indoor rooms.


 ✨ Lighting Optimization
  • Fixed an issue where the lightmap was displaying incorrectly in indoor areas.
