Development update

EPIC UPDATE

I'm back with an epic update! Unlock the first "Divine" 5 star upgrade card to get Auto Aim and crush your opponent with ease. I've also made a sweet Short Boost that drops a bunch of weapons. Come check out the new features and let me know what else you would like to see implemented!

Added: Auto Aim upgrade. The first "Divine" (5 star) upgrade card



[h2]New: Unlock upgrades[/h2]
Added: Unlock message in card description. This will tell you what upgrade card you can unlock


[h2]New Short Boost: Spawn Weapons[/h2]
Added: New "Spawn Weapons" Short Boost. Spawn a bunch of weapons on the player



Other changes
Added: Hard and Pro bots now dash towards you when holding melee weapons. Pro bots dash more frequently compared to Hard bots
Added: When only bots remain, they will become Pro bots until the end of the round. This way the match will be over quickly
Added: Controller virbration for Lightning and Stun activations
Added: Game pauzes when the game is out of focus

Updated: All Chance upgrades now have a minimum of 5% for Normal tier, except for Explosive Bullet
Updated: Passive Healing Amount upgrade to percentage instead of fixed amount. Start value is 5%
Updated: All normal bullets trail effect look better now
Updated: Bots navigation to go around solid walls is improved
Updated: Changed Short Boost images to better describing icons
Updated: Changed everything related to the text "Shoot faster" to "Attack faster"
Updated: Getting an Extra Bullet upgrade now has a higher chance. 25% chance when getting Legendary or Mythic
Updated: Camera zooms in less.

Fixed: Demo mode causing duplicate color issues in player selection screen
Fixed: Bots kept going right when they were falling outside the map on the right side
Fixed: Conveyor platform kept moving back and forth while standing on it
Fixed: Ultra Weapon Pulsorion's bullet despawn too soon when round is over. Fixed edges

We're back with a big update! We've added 7 new upgrades and revamped the whole upgrade system. Upgrade information has been added so you can track your progress and all the upgrades have been rebalanced.

Other changes
  • Added: Take knockback multiplier into account for melee attacks
  • Added: Aura effect for Legendary and Mythic upgrades
  • Added: Animation for when an upgrade is maxed out
  • Added: Ultra weapons now have an Aura effect around them
  • Added: Controller specific (Playstation, Xbox) icons in Player Selection screen

  • Updated: Buffed More accuracy upgrade -> only for Epic (50%) and Legendary (100%)
  • Updated: Buffed More knockback upgrade -> only for Epic (50%) and Legendary (100%)
  • Updated: Buffed Less recoil upgrade -> only for Legendary (50%) and Mythic (100%)
  • Updated: Normal bots now have a 35% chance to pick "the best" upgrade, instead of 100%
  • Updated: Hard bots now have a 70% chance to pick "the best" upgrade, instead of 100%
  • Updated: Team identification is now shown using a triangle on top of the player instead of an outline

  • Fixed: Player is able to switch teams when ready
  • Fixed: Player receives damage when hitting the map's border if the shield upgrade is active
  • Fixed: Main menu background does not scale to any size resolution

REVAMPED UPGRADE SYSTEM

I've been working hard to revamp the upgrade system. Various upgrades have been buffed and the next update will have 7 new upgrades!

7 new upgrades will be available in the next update!
  • Melee weapon block chance
  • Passive healing chance
  • Passive healing amount
  • Invincible while reloading chance
  • Stun opponent chance
  • Lightning damage chance
  • Exploding bullet chance

Some upgrades have been adjusted to really feel the difference each round you pick them.

  • More knockback
  • Less recoil

BIG UPDATE

We're back with a big update! Introducing melee weapons into the game, check out the new Double Knife or bash your opponent with your bare hands.

New Backgrounds


Throw/discard weapons

Players can now throw/discard their weapon at any time.
  • This can, for example, be used for throwing almost empty guns towards enemies.
  • This can also be used to throw a gun to your teammate to help them out.
  • The weapon now rotates when being thrown
Positional sound effects

Sound effects are now positional during combat

Other changes
  • Removed: Score multiplier for continuous hits on the same target
    • This was causing imbalance when players started getting extra bullet upgrades
  • Updated: New Main Menu visuals and menu buttons
  • Updated: Winner crown is now in front of player
  • Updated: Controller info text for "discard weapon" instead of "switch weapon"
  • Updated: Fine tuned the spawn rates of Ultra Weapons and Cat Nova (Short Boost)
  • Updated: Background blur is now constant for all resolutions and depth layered
  • Updated: Demo mode now also shows different game modes

  • Fixed: Rocket explosion directional force on players and objects
  • Fixed: Rocket explosion impact position
  • Fixed: Sometimes a player doesn't get a gun on the start of a new round
  • Fixed: Player drops weapon upside down when looking left
  • Fixed: Player holds weapon upside down when looking left on respawn
  • Fixed: All conveyor platforms now only activate when you stand on them
  • Fixed: Scoreboard continue could be pressed, even when it's not visible
  • Fixed: Demo mode starting when feedback window is open
  • Fixed: Demo mode causing player colors to be locked in specific scenarios
  • Fixed: Explosion animation was visible in scoreboard view during upgrade selection
  • Fixed: Serbian translations
  • Fixed: Unwanted bounce physics, for objects other than player, on a specific platform
  • Fixed: Bounce back velocity is now consistent when falling off the map
    • This should also fix the force respawn when the player falls outside the map
