Roadmap Update and Future Plans

Hello, everyone!

Since the Early Access launch, we’ve been collecting and collating your feedback, and have been grateful for your detailed - and often passionate - responses, which have been invaluable. Based on this feedback, we've drawn up some plans for the coming weeks, stretching into the new year.
What's Coming Next
• We're adding more detailed and complex tooltips to provide reminders of common game functions and make it easier to pick up mechanics as you go.
 • We're planning some balance adjustments to the early history campaign to ease in the player more gently, although moving into V1 we may be offloading some of the tutorial steps to the learner scenarios instead.
 • Time allowing, we aim to add the Tizaapan and Cuauhmixtitlan missions to cap off the first chapter of the history campaign before Christmas, at least on the testing branch.
 • We’re laying the groundwork for broader localization efforts in the new year.
 • Finally, an in-game help encyclopedia is planned, although this will be a long-term project.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the upcoming tooltips- let us know what you think!

That’s all for today. Best of luck, and Happy Panquetzaliztli!

We wanted to let you know that a Testing Branch is available to play, where you can try out upcoming changes before they go live. Your feedback will help us improve the game and see if everything runs smoothly.

 2. Right-click on Tlatoani: Aztec Cities and select Properties.

Right now, there is no drastic changes - this update includes improvements to how good-units are displayed across various contexts, making the interface more consistent (no more unexpected 100x units for homes or construction materials!). We’d appreciate any feedback to ensure these changes work smoothly in the UI.

Thank you for your support and for helping us make Tlatoani the best it can be!
