Thorns and resource tracking hotfix

This is a minor update to:
  • Fix Jagged Carapace (it was scaling based on the enemy armor value)
  • Fix resource tracking on the run end stat screen

Attack type oaths

  • Run end stats screen
  • Oaths for attack types (Melee/Ranged/AoE)
  • Added new player attack (multiple fireballs instead of Burn)
  • Units are tinted when affected by certain stacks (e.g. Burn and Invincible)


[h2]Balancing:[/h2]
  • Capped Burn stacks at 10 (instead of 20)


[h2]Fixes:[/h2]
  • Thorned armor (it was doing something, but not what it was supposed to)
  • Prevent incorrectly timed tutorial beats on run restart


[h2]Misc:[/h2]
  • (Windows only) Changed backend graphics from OpenGL to OpenGL ES via ANGLE
  • Updated Steam SDK

  • Added mouse controls to squad info screen
  • Added new monster (currently only seen in Gong challenge)


[h2]Balancing:[/h2]
  • Changed tags for Bulwark (added Vanguard) and Archer (removed Vanguard, added Rogue)
  • Changed starting unit squad (removed one Archer, added one Bulwark)
  • Reduced Mortar Slime AoE range
  • Reduced slime enemy armor and slightly increased threat cost (i.e. fewer enemies)
  • Added additional player character attack bolts
  • Added starting discount to Vanguard units

  • Reset input bindings for savefiles created before "Squad Info" screen was added. You may need to re-map your bindings!
  • Fixed Rampage (incorrectly dealt too much damage to friendly units)

  • Added closing shortcuts (pause and back) to squad info screen
  • Tweaked timer between the two minimap tutorial beats
  • Removed white dot on unit portraits (mainly visible on Bone Rat)

  • Changed how respawn rate multiplier works (it's now just reflected in the total time, rather than impacting the timer speed)
  • Modified respawn sound
  • Do not store malformed window sizes
  • Input rebinding sometimes incorrectly captured multiple keys of the same type
  • "Grit" was not doing anything
  • Limited the number of squad units that are displayed in the respawn queue, so that they do not overlap the minimap
  • Hide "more info" prompt when leaving recruitment screen


[h2]Misc:[/h2]
  • Added a new gamepad mapping (8BitDo Pro 2 for MacOS)

Difficulty settings

New features:
  • Added "Threat timer" setting (ability to change how long it takes for the hourglass to turn)
  • Added difficulty setting (affects starting stats for enemies)


Balancing:
  • Increased AoE cap to 7
  • Boss clears bad stacks when moving


Fixes:
  • Fixed input rebinding not being saved
  • Changes to stored window size management, attempting to prevent crashes and strange window position offsets


Misc:
  • Added a new gamepad mapping
  • Implemented updated Steam SDK
  • Upgrade Defold to 1.10.3
