June Dev Update!

[p]Welcome back! [/p][p][/p][h2]New features: [/h2][p]Development is going strong. Since April I've added quite a few things in the game.[/p][p]The major changes are :[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Two new type of enemies.[/p]
  • [p]There are a few documents of all kind to be found in the game (retroactively including where used to be the demo) that will give hints, context and additional narration.[/p]
  • [p]The storm system was reworked. It looks now considerably better, and performance on that front was heavily improved from the demo.[/p]
  • [p]The player is way faster and every entities has been adjusted for balance.[/p][p]

April Dev Update!

Welcome back!
I've been hard at work on the game. Since March I'm working full time on it, instead of in my free time, which means for the first time the release is in sight!

Here are my estimations :

ACT 1 (demo) : 99%

ACT 2
level1 forest : 90%
level2 dump : 90%
level3 gray3 : 65%

ACT 3
level1 tribal : 70%
level2 gray4 : 40%
level3 the road : 25%

By those metrics game should be finished by the end of august. Right now I estimate the game lenght is about 70 minutes.

I've updated the screenshots on the steampage, including some sneak peak from ACT2!

Demo v0.4.0 / Next-Fest 2025

I'm really glad of the feedback I recieved for the demo released a few months ago and I'm working towards completing the game.

There were some errors in pacing and gameplay clarity here and there that I think are fixed in this new version of the game. I've set aside continuing the game for a few days and worked on it : I'm releasing a new version now that will drastically improve the experience.



[h2]Demo v0.4.0[/h2]

[h3]General[/h3]
  • The demo, covering the first act, have been changed drastically. The overall effect is that the demo is considerably shorter and make the experience tighter.
  • Player speed has been reworked. Player is now considerably faster, but the speed and stamina is adjusted depending on the object the player is carrying.
  • There's now one less trip to the station to do.
  • Regen health is now lower, but "shelters" give you health faster.


[h3]Entities[/h3]
  • Parking Entities now deal much more damage, are slightly faster and harder to see.
  • Parking Entities sometimes bugged and wouldn't patrol normally. This has been fixed.
  • There is now a way more clear red visual feedback when you take damage from the Deadlights.
  • The blue panels that give warnings and tips on Deadlights are now presented better to make it so you can't miss it accidentally.


[h3]Settings & Misc[/h3]
  • There was a bug making parking decals uglier and flater. Now the parking look even prettier!
  • Graphical Settings : Some problematic options were either fixed or removed.
  • Forest performance upgraded
  • Lamps turning of more in a more dramatic fashion now.
  • Some colliders have been adjusted


In the mean time, developement of the final game is going forward. In a few months there should be a final release date announced. Have a good one!

Demo Bug Fixes (Update 0.1.0)

Thanks to the early feedback I was able to fix and tweak some things:

  • partyl fixed a problem that occured with low settings that would make everything way too bright. If that happens to you, it will be fixed if you quit and load any scene again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • added some stamina earlier on the game. Downgraded the "upgraded running".
  • "subterrean" levels are now a little brighter.
  • "subterrean" level creatures now deal more damage.
  • various environment & props changes.
