Play with two friends and a new Scyron throughout Steam Next Fest

Great news Scyron!
[p]Steam Next Fest kicks off early for us with a substantially updated demo – just for you![/p][p]“Substantially” is a big word that we don’t throw around lightly around here, so please have a look what this actually means for the demo.[/p][p]P.S. Release of the full game is March 26th, 2026 – don’t forget to wishlist it![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]But, so, what is waiting for you with this demo?[/p]
  • [p]Play and level 3 out of 6 Scyrons[/p]
  • [p]Combine and experiment with 3 Essences[/p]
  • [p]Get a taste of the early stages of metaprogression[/p]
  • [p]Join up with up to two friends to defend Bastion – or play solo[/p]
Fully test out 3 different Scyrons
[p]Joining their comrades Ferun (The Warrior) and Zirenth (The Archer) that were already available in the demo, Thallus, the Rogue, will make their first public, yet time-limited appearance at this Steam Next Fest.[/p][p]Only available from February 23rd to March 2nd, you and your friends will be able to play and test three out of the six Wargears for the next week.[/p][p]We highly recommend using this time to experiment with these Wargears and the available Essences. See and feel how the different combinations affect your game to find your sweet spot.[/p][p][/p]
3-Player Co-Op available
[p]Yes, 3-Player Co-Op is now fully available publicly for the first time.[/p][p]This means that you’ll be able to invite up to two of your friends to slash, stab and shoot evil hordes together – of course all in the name of saving Bastion.[/p][p]And in case you are afraid that it would get too easy, fret not, the difficulty scales with each added Co-Op player.[/p][p]Keep in mind that balancing is still a work in progress. If you spot any areas that could use improvement, we’d love to hear from you![/p]
[p]⚠️ The feature is not fully stable yet and can occasionally break. We seek to increase stability throughout the demo. Thank you for your understanding![/p]
[p][/p]
Language
[p]In a recent update to the Demo, two weeks ago, we added French, German, traditional and simplified Chinese as available languages to play EverSiege: Untold Ages.
With this update we are now also adding support for Russian as a work in progress¹.[/p][p]When first rolled out, the language was automatically determined through your system’s language, and we heard you – you’ll now be able to adjust your preferred language directly in the settings menu.[/p]
[p]¹At this stage, Russian will see a higher rate of mistranslations – we apologize, we are striving to fix them asap. So, should you find any typos, missing or bizarre translations in Russian or other languages, it would be great if you could let us know in this thread right here so we can adjust them 🙏[/p]

Play with two friends and a new Scyron during Steam Next Fest

Greetings Scyron,
[p]Let’s welcome the day with some stretches and a little preview of what’s coming to you and our Demo Monday, February 23rd, also known as the start of Steam Next Fest.[/p][p]We already hinted at it in our most recent update (the language one), that this next one could be fun - and boy will it be fun.[/p][p][/p]
3-Player Co-Op
[p]Yes, you read that right: 3-Player Co-Op will be available publicly for the first time with the demo update starting coming Monday. This means that you’ll be able to invite up to two of your friends to slash, stab and shoot evil hordes together – of course all in the name of saving Bastion.[/p][p]Before this update, and thanks to your feedback, we adjusted the XP distribution for Co-Op players. Now, with our last release, all players within a radius will receive 100% of the XP, rather than just a fraction.[/p][p]And in case you are afraid that it would get too easy, fret not, the difficulty scales with each added Co-Op player.[/p][p]Keep in mind that balancing is still a work in progress. If you spot any areas that could use improvement, we’d love to hear from you![/p]
Thallus – Ready for action
[p]Joining their comrades Ferun (The Warrior) and Zirenth (The Archer), Thallus, the Rogue, will make their first public, yet time-limited appearance at this coming Steam Next Fest.[/p][p]Only available throughout Next Fest (Feb 23 – Mar 2) and armed with the ability to cloak themselves, Thallos dashes out quick, devastating surprise attacks without remorse or hesitation. Instead of long chases, Thallos is in and out of the action before anyone notices, leaving nothing but fallen enemies.[/p][p]Should an enemy take a moment longer to hit the floor, the increasing attack speed per hit will turn Thallos into an absolute crit-machine – if you build them like that, of course. Otherwise, you can always dash or cloak out and let your friends finish the job.[/p][p][/p][p]We can’t wait for you to get your hands on this new update.[/p][p]For everyone new to this page, please feel more than welcome to share your thoughts on either the Steam Discussions forum right here or our Discord Server.[/p][p]Take care and see you around[/p]
~Tindalos Interactive
New languages available for the EverSiege: Untold Ages Demo

Guten Tag Scyrons,
[p]Today is the official EverSiege: Untold Ages new-languages-for-the-demo-day.[/p][p]This means that moving forward you’ll be able to select between 4 additional languages for your Demo playing pleasures: French, German, traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese.[/p][p]And of course, this also means that the full game will support those mentioned languages when it is released March 26.[/p][p][/p][p]Should you find any typos, missing or bizarre translations, it would be great if you could let us know in this thread right here so we can adjust them 🙏
[/p]
Highlighted Changelog
[p]
Alongside the language update, our team also fixed, polished and adjusted some parts behind the scenes:[/p]
  • [p]New languages added: French, Deutsch, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Russian will be added in another update.[/p]
  • [p]Coop Players in a shared radius each get 100% of the XP gains instead of a part of the XP gains.[/p]
  • [p]Direct Control: We have re-implemented the "Direct Control" configuration (WASD) within the movement settings.[/p]
  • [p]New screen resolution[/p]
  • [p] We've removed the Codex from the demo at this time and will put it back in at a later date.[/p]
  • [p]Gameplay: Tweaks and balance changes (for enemies, Wargears and Missions)[/p]
  • [p]VFX & Visuals: Fixes and improvements (for UI (especially the Fresco), enemies, skills and interactive elements)[/p]
  • [p]Audio & Sounds: Fixes and improvements (for multiplayer, UI, environment, gameplay and interactive elements)
    [/p]
[p]We are currently also looking into refreshing the content of the demo for the upcoming Next Fest (Feb 23. – Mar 2.). Not wanting to promise too much while our focus remains on shipping the main game much at this stage, but we’d love to do it.
[/p]
Help a Scyron out
[p]Balancing EverSiege: Untold Ages appropriately for beginners and veterans alike is an ongoing, meticulous task, especially while the game is still actively being developed.[/p][p]So, in order to curb the currently perceived complexity and difficulty of some the systems, we were wondering if some of are up to help out your fellow Scyrons by creating a Guide. Anything from workarounds, build-orders, tips and tricks could prove helpful. Any language is of course welcome![/p][p][/p][p]For everyone new to this page, please feel more than welcome to share your thoughts on either the Steam Discussions forum right here or our Discord Server.[/p][p]Take care and see you around[/p]
~Tindalos Interactive
EverSiege: Untold Ages has a new release date

Scyrons!
[p]Yes, you totally saw that right; we’ve got a new release date for our baby: March 26, 2026. And while that might look a bit surprising from the outside in, our community already had a good hunch that this was coming. A prominent reason for that would probably be their ongoing input and support following the release of our Demo in December.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]But before we start talking about the demo more, we have the honor of revealing the price for EverSiege: Untold Ages on its release date: USD 19.99[/p][p]Now, with all the numbers out of the way, let’s refocus on community feedback for a second, since that is the main reason for the pushed release – and we mean that in the most sincere and positive way possible. Thanks to all of you guys’ shared experiences with the game, we were able to uncover more nooks and crannies that require additional sweeping and work.[/p][p]So, the coming months will include work on the main pain points raised by our players and general open tasks:[/p]
  • [p]Improving onboarding experience[/p]
  • [p]Curbing difficulty curve[/p]
  • [p]Polishing combat feeling and feedback[/p]
  • [p]Improving audio and SFX[/p]
  • [p]Adding full language support for FR/GER/RU/SCH[/p]
  • [p]Adding ultrawide screen support[/p]
[p]That is of course far from everything that is being worked on until release, but what fun would it be to be spoiling everything already, right? We want to keep some nice surprises as, well, nice surprises.[/p][p][/p]
About the Demo
[p]A good month following its release, the demo will continue to evolve. In the coming days and weeks, it will receive additional updates and improvements.[/p][p]Alongside minor bug fixes, quality of life updates and an upgraded game feel¹, the demo’s first update of 2026 will bring more languages to play EverSiege in and will see the big return of Direct Controls. [/p][p]We are currently also looking into refreshing the content of the demo for the upcoming Next Fest (Feb 23. – Mar 2.). Not wanting to promise too while our focus remains on shipping the main game much at this stage, but we’d love to do it.[/p][p]¹Here is a quick overview for the curious to have a better idea what that mentioned polishing actually encompasses:[/p]
  • [p]Several VFX updates & adaptations[/p]
  • [p]Reworked how enemy health point scale across a run (bosses included)[/p]
  • [p]Refreshed fresco design in the hub[/p]
  • [p]Brushed up (death) animations for bosses[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced several abilities and passives[/p]
[p]We are pleased to announce that the demo for EverSiege: Untold Ages will also soon be available in French, German, Russian and Simplified Chinese.[/p][p]For everyone new to this page, please feel more than free to share your thoughts on either the Steam forums right here or our Discord Server which you can join HERE.[/p][p]We wouldn’t be here without you – so, take care and see you around🙏[/p]
~Tindalos Interactive
