Raiders Rise Update!

📢 Game Development Updates
🎯 Missions System (Work in Progress!)
One of the biggest new features we started integrating is the Missions System. The goal is to track in-game achievements, like collecting resources or completing certain challenges.
Right now, we’re setting up the backend so that the game correctly registers and saves progress.
This is a major step toward adding more structured gameplay goals and keeping things engaging for players.
🛍️ UI Overhaul & Store Improvements
The UI team made great progress in reworking the in-game store.
We’re moving toward a cleaner, more intuitive layout, making it easier for players to browse, purchase, and customize their raiders.

A new upgrade system design was also introduced, where upgrades are now represented as “chips.”

This makes the system more thematic and visually appealing, while also making it easier for players to understand.
We’re even toying with fun ways players might refer to it—like calling it the chip shop!
🕹️ Gameplay & Feature Updates
Scaling Adjustments:
We fixed a lot of proportional issues in the game world, so objects, characters, and UI elements are more consistent in size and readability.

New Cosmetics & Customization Menus:
A first version of the character customization system is ready!
Players will be able to change skins, emotes, and more.

Emojis System:

We’ve started implementing an emoji communication system for players to use in-game.
These emojis can be:
 • Text-based
 • Animated
 • Include sound effects

(Yes, the poop emoji does have a sound effect. Priorities.)
🧙 Character & Art Updates
New Characters in Production:
Character design has been on fire this sprint!
Several new characters are at different stages of development:

 • River design is approved!

 • A powerful old-lady healer is in progress—she’s not just wise, she’s a healer.

 • Atabusk hi poly model is finally finished!

New hi poly models, rigs and animations are coming in fast, making the roster more diverse and exciting.
🌵 Environment & Visual Enhancements
The art team has been fine-tuning the environmental design to create a more distinct visual identity for the game.
Some key updates include:

 • A new shading technique that adds a subtle texture to objects, making everything feel more hand-painted instead of flat.

 • Improvements to desert environments, helping us define the final visual style of the game’s world.

 • Level design sketches are being finalized, giving clearer direction for upcoming environments.

Welcome to Raiders Rise! – A New Kind of 3v3 Battleground

The year is 16,514... the universe is vast, chaotic, and full of possibilities. But most importantly: it's way more fun with friends.

Five houses compete for the Crystals, the most valuable resource in the universe. And, conveniently, they're willing to pay handsomely for someone like you.

You're a Raider. An explorer. An expert at finding Crystals and sticking your nose where it probably shouldn't be. But don’t worry, you won’t be doing this alone. Team up with your friends, plan the perfect extraction, and get ready for action.

Travel together to hostile worlds. Extract Crystals with ease... or at least try to. Encounter creatures that can't tell the difference between a Raider and an intergalactic snack.
And of course, other teams are after the same prize. You can't attack them directly, but you can play a few "harmless pranks"... like blocking their path, triggering traps, or convincing them that the big red button doesn't do anything dangerous.

In the end, each team keeps what they collect, but only one will be the true winner. The competition is fierce, but the laughs are guaranteed.

Welcome to Raiders Rise! Gather your team, plan wisely... and most importantly, don't be the one who sets off the trap by accident.
Forget stiff, sweaty competitive games—this is something new.
• 3v3 Competitive & Cooperative PvPvE Battles – Work with your team while surviving the wild.
 • Short, Action-Packed Matches – 15-20 minutes of pure intensity—no downtime.
 • A Multiplayer Bullet Hell with Party Game Chaos – Dodge, strategize, and adapt in fast-paced battles.
 • No More Toxicity – A space where teamwork, fun, and epic moments take the spotlight.

If you love fast-paced action with just the right mix of competition and unpredictable fun, this is for you.

Jerar is the first fully completed character for the game.

Maya is one of our WIP characters. This current stage is the blockout, which we use temporarily for animation and VFX creation while the final high-quality 3D model is being produced.
