Book of Vengeance Weekly Update

[p]- Added several new enchantments of different rarities[/p][p]- Added unique drops for each standard boss type (not campaign bosses). These are in addition to normal drops. Current drop rate is 25%[/p][p]- Added new unique items (including a new weapon of each type and several armor sets)[/p][p][/p][p]- Changed Instant Kill Immunity into Resist Instant Kill (a numerical stat). [p][/p][p]Wait, how did we get in here? Wonder no longer, the Entrance encounter is back.[/p]
  • [p]Fully clearing the previous level of monsters will allow you a free rest at the entrance [/p]
  • [p]In the Infinite dungeon, you can abandon your quest at the entrance (for players that want a definitive end to their campaign- and a small amount of bonus Renown)[/p]
  • [p]When you have a challenge level (Den of Infinity +1 etc) you can use the entrance to backtrack, reducing the challenge level but staying at the same dungeon depth (only once per depth)[/p]

  • [p]Added various amounts of Stun Evasion to all Elite monsters[/p]
  • [p]Added new backline attacks to several enemies (Animated Blade, Ghoul, Ghast, Enslaver)[/p]
  • [p]Added a (weak) attack to the Arcana Sprite[/p]

  • [p]Changed Enslaver to only use 'Enslave' ability when he's in the front row[/p]
  • [p]Changed the values on First Turn Initiative and Skill Initiative stats to more intuitively match the way the init system works (negative is now better/faster)[/p]
  • [p]Changed the Quickness penalty on all weapons to be WEAPON Skill Initiative penalties instead (meaning it only applies when you use a weapon skill)[/p]
  • [p]Changed the 'Load Game' button to no longer open the book[/p]

  • [p]Fixed the class count on the Unlocks screen[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect duration on conditions when their skill was attached to Enchantment and then moved[/p]
  • [p]Fixed inconsistent behaviour with Enchantment applied to targeted conditions vs. self-applied conditions[/p]
  • [p]Fixed missing SPELL tag on Arcana Missiles[/p]
  • [p]Fixed skill usability calculation when power cost reductions are in effect[/p]
  • [p]Fixed custom skill assignments being randomized if we progress to campaign selection then back up[/p]

Unlock with Renown[/p][p]- Added 'Stun Recovery' buff when characters recover from stun (making stunlock harder)[/p][p]- Changed enemy level in Siege to spike more rapidly after each boss wave[/p][p]- Fixed UI bug with generic skills appearing locked in 'Locked skills' mode[/p][p]- Fixed temporary allies having their skills locked in 'Locked skills' mode[/p][p]- Fixed a problem with health regeneration granted by Endurance[/p]

[p]- Skill unlock status is now properly saved and loaded [/p][p]- Save files with missing skill points (because of above issue) will have them awarded[/p][p]- 'Unlock' button state is updated for clarity when we have no skill points to spend[/p]

[p]This week we have some new ways to play, centred around how you configure your skills![/p][p][/p][p]- Added the ability to modify secondary skill order. Unlocked at skill mastery level 3[/p][p]- Added the ability to save and load 'presets' for skill configurations. This applies to Custom and Modified classes[/p][p]- Added a new modifier: "Locked Skills". With this enabled, skills will have to be unlocked one by one as you level up[/p][p]- Added the ability to select multiple modifiers at campaign start[/p][p]- Added stronger boss encounters to infinite mode (every few levels)[/p][p][/p][p]- Changed the hit type of many area-effect skills to prevent incorrect interactions with 'Demands Attention' on targets[/p][p]- Changed 'Maul' skill target condition from 'below 75% health' to 'below 90% health'[/p][p]- Changed dungeon background fog to be disabled at 'Low' graphics level[/p][p]- Changed 'Renewing' to 20% Regen. Future changes are likely[/p][p][/p][p]- Fixed alert level being incorrectly reset on loading a save[/p][p]- Fixed description text on 'Blade' assist skill[/p][p]- Fixed trait bonus not being awarded at tier 6[/p][p]- Fixed a bug with 'Grants Tag to Skills' effects (e.g. Magma Dagger)[/p][p][/p][p]Next week: Abracadabra![/p]
