📢 Nekogumi v1.0.3 Update

[p]Hi everyone! 💛
Thank you again for all the feedback since launch — every report, screenshot, and “WHY ARE THEY SITTING INSIDE EACH OTHER??” message helps so much. The cats and I have been sweeping up the rough edges from the early game, and v1.0.3 is a tidy little update focused on clarity and smoother gameplay flow.[/p][p]Here’s what’s new in v1.0.3:[/p]
📝 Quest Description Updates
[p]Some quests weren’t fully clear about their goals or steps, so several descriptions have now been revised for better guidance.
Small wording tweaks, but they should reduce confusion during progression — especially for new players.[/p]
🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Fix for Overlapping Customers
[p]One of the funniest (and most cursed) bugs reported: customers sitting on each other like a café totem pole.[/p][p]This update improves customer(and employee) logic to reduce overlapping, making the café feel more natural and readable.[/p]
🧸 Collision Adjustments for Toys
[p]Some toys were a little too solid and getting in the way of the cats.
Collision has been refined so toys behave better, block less, and feel smoother to interact with.[/p]
🐞 As Always — Bug Reports Welcome!
[p]Every message genuinely helps. If anything feels off in v1.0.3 — movement, UI, customers behaving suspiciously, or toys suddenly aspiring to be immovable objects — please let me know![/p][p]👉 Steam Discussions → Bug Reports
Or simply start a new thread — I’m checking them daily.[/p]
💬 Thank You
[p]Thank you again for supporting indie development and helping Nekogumi grow with each update. I’ll keep polishing, refining, and sending every new bug straight to the cats for investigation. 🐱🔍[/p][p]– Ki-nodes Studio[/p]

📢 Nekogumi v1.0.2 Update

[p]Hi everyone! 💛
Thank you again for all the support since the launch. The cats and I have been collecting reports, feedback, and “uhh why is this customer not leaving??” messages — and we’ve put together a small but helpful follow‑up update to smooth out the early experience.[/p]
Here’s what’s new in v1.0.2:
🌟 Static Camera Mode Marked as Experimental
[p]In v1.0.1, we introduced the new Static Camera / Static Order Mode.
Based on your feedback (and some amusing camera behaviour), it is now clearly labeled Experimental in the Options menu. We’ll continue refining it over time.[/p]
🕒 Closing Time Fix – Automatic Kick-Out Timer
[p]Some customers loved Nekogumi so much that they flat-out refused to leave at closing time.
Thank you to everyone who reported this![/p][p]v1.0.2 adds a hard kick‑out timer after closing to ensure the day can properly end without players getting stuck.[/p]
🧾 End the Day Early (New!)
[p]You can now end your workday early directly from the POS machine at the counter.
A small addition, but several players found it handy during shorter or partial play sessions.[/p]
🎛️ UI Tweaks & Bug Fixes
[p]Small UI improvements have been made for clarity and usability.
And of course — more bugfixes based on your reports! The cats continue to hunt them down one by one. 🐱🔍
🐞 Bug Reports Welcome![/p][p]Thank you again to everyone who reported issues during and after v1.0.1.
If you spot anything in v1.0.2 — visual, gameplay, UI, or “this NPC won’t leave my restaurant help” — please let me know![/p][p]👉 Steam Discussions → Bug Reports
Or just start a new thread — I’m checking them daily.[/p][p]Your reports genuinely help improve the game faster, and I appreciate every message. 💛[/p]
💬 As Always
[p]Thank you so much for supporting indie development and helping Nekogumi grow.
I’ll keep polishing, adjusting, and yes — squashing every bug the cats drag to my desk.[/p][p]– Ki-nodes Studio[/p]

Nekogumi – Update v1.0.1 is Live!

[p]Hi everyone! 💛 Thank you so much for supporting Nekogumi. Today’s update focuses on camera comfort and early QoL improvements based on some of your feedback.[/p][p]Here’s what’s new in v1.0.1:
🌟 New – Static Order Mode[/p][p]Some players requested a calmer experience, so there's now an optional Static Order Mode:[/p]
 • [p]Keeps the camera steady during order-taking and serving[/p]
 • [p]Removes forced angles during table interactions[/p]
 • [p]Toggle it anytime in Options [/p]
[p]By default, the game still uses the original Dynamic Camera for players who enjoy the more animated presentation. [/p]
Demo Detached From the Main Build
[p]The old demo was created months before release and no longer represents the current, polished version of Nekogumi.[/p][p]To avoid giving new players an outdated impression, the demo has been unlinked from the main game.
Thank you to everyone who played the demo and supported the game early on! 💛[/p][p][/p]
🐞 Bug Reports Welcome!
[p]If you encounter any issues after this update — visual, gameplay, UI, or performance — please let me know![/p][p]👉 Steam Discussions → Bug Reports
Or simply start a new thread and I’ll check it out.[/p][p]Your reports genuinely help me improve Nekogumi faster, and I really appreciate it.[/p][p]
⚠️ About the Old Demo Crash Report (“Fatal Error”)[/p][p]I received one report during the demo period where the game showed a UE “Fatal Error” window when starting a new level.
We have yet to receive any reports of this issue in the full release version, so it appears to be isolated to the old demo build.[/p][p]In most cases, errors like this are related to:[/p]
 • [p]Outdated graphics drivers, or[/p]
 • [p]DirectX needing an update[/p]
[p]If anyone encounters anything similar in the full version, please let me know! The cats will try their best to sort it out.[/p]

🐱Nekogumi is finally out on Steam!🐱

[p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]I can’t quite believe this day is actually here.
After a long journey spent alongside these cats — with Bruce supervising every step, of course — Nekogumi is officially released on Steam.
This is a small, cosy game made with a lot of care (and a lot of design decisions made by Bruce).
I hope your time in this little neighbourhood feels warm, calm, and maybe a little whimsical… just like the cats themselves.
If you run into any issues, feel free to drop them in the Bug Reports section. I’ll be gathering everything for the first post‑launch patch — and Bruce will try to slap as many bugs as possible, mostly because they annoy him, not because he’s trying to please humans. 🐱✋

Come share your thoughts about the game — who’s your favourite cat?
Maybe I’ll share some more stories about them too.
Thank you for being here — Bruce and the rest of the gang do appreciate you. 🐾[/p][p]
