Small but important bugfix and questions for you

[p]Hi adventurers! :)[/p][p]I updated just now to 1.4.6 which fixes a problem in big screens (4K, wide). The ivy leaves won't let read the stories. Now it's fixed.[/p][p]Thanks for reporting any bugs you find. You can see I can fix them pretty soon.[/p][p]By the way, I would like to ask you two things. I've put polls for this at my Youtube channel. My channel is tiny, as for now it only contains the game trailers. But as I can make polls there, it may be cool if you want to follow.[/p][p]If you go there and look on "Community" (or maybe it's "publicaciones" or "publications" for you), you will find the polls. One is for the bestiary and another one asks about chat sessions.

Update 1.4.5: Spells, bug fixes and more

[p]Hello adventurers! 😊 This update fixes a few bugs and also adds some features that improve the game. It’s a small update before introducing the story of the Emerald City, so everything is solid and ready for the new chapter! [/p][p]Also added:[/p]
  • [p]In the shops, you can now buy two new spells: Magical Armor and Water Armor. These spells create an armor around Tamzyn with a set amount of points that block damage. Once those points run out, the armor disappears. They protect against different types of damage (Magical Armor blocks physical damage, and Water Armor blocks fire and energy). Get both spells by doing jobs and saving up money — you’re going to need them! 🛡️💧[/p]
  • [p]Now, when there’s a bad environmental condition, you’ll be informed while camping, and see how long it will last.[/p]
  • [p]On the Loot screen, you can now see how many coins are in the pile of gold. 💰[/p]
  • [p]On Loot, you can use items you’re carrying instead of just dropping them to make space. So now you don’t waste anything. If your backpack is full, you no longer have to throw things away — you can use food or potions to free up space. [/p]

  • [p]Two very strategic spells have been added to the city shops: Magical Armor and Water Armor. These spells create an armor around Tamzyn that blocks certain types of damage.   • [p]Recompiled due to a Unity security fix. It didn’t affect my version. All versions of the game are safe and don’t use internet or external data, except for connecting to Steam for achievements.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some UI issues on the Exploration and Story screens for Windows.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed combat bugs that caused double attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: healing spells and other non-combat spells weren’t consuming mana.[/p]
  • [p]Several improvements to make the game’s beginning more solid.[/p]
  • [p]The dryad Cassandra has been renamed to Florine, to avoid confusion with Tamzyn’s mother.[/p]

Update 1.4.3: Strange animals and liminal places!

[p]Dear adventurers, [/p][p][/p][p]Here comes update 1.4.3, which I’ve decided to release ahead of schedule before diving deeper into the major 1.5 release.[/p][p][/p][p]🧭 This update introduces a new type of job mission: searches. They’re similar to the ones where you deliver maps and documents, but this time you’ll travel to a specific location and return to report on rare plants, fabulous animals, and strange places. For now there are a few, but I'll add more. These missions pay better than document deliveries. The destinations aren’t cities, but any point on the map that isn’t a city or sanctuary (in other words, dungeons).[/p][p][/p][p]👑 If you’re already friends with the Purple King, Urvhal will assign you higher-paying missions. These take you to liminal places. Those mysterious locations inspire me. Maybe in the future I’ll give them more features and interactions. I don’t know... maybe procedurally generated maps, unpredictable mystical zones… If you have ideas, I’m all ears![/p][p][/p][p]🛠️ I’m still working on release 1.5. A lot of it is already implemented, and the full story is written. I just need to bring it all together and create the graphics, so it’ll take a bit more time. I’m excited to share it with you! Next Update: The Emerald City, Main Story & More

[h2]🗞️ NEWS – WHAT’S COMING NEXT?[/h2][p]This week I’ve been writing a lot for the main storyline. I’ve shared it with a few people, and they loved it. So I hope it will entertain, move, and inspire you just as much.[/p][p]Here are a few things I can already reveal:[/p]
  • [p]The story continues from the Purple King’s mission, so you’ll need to work to obtain it. If you already have, destiny will find you.[/p]
  • [p]The heroes will feel the pressure of the world around them. As they grow closer, they’ll have to choose.[/p]
  • [p]I’m going to make you suffer, and I hope also laugh and dream.[/p]
[p]Many more adventures are coming, because when this one ends, new paths will open. Remember: this game never truly ends. At least not while I live! It’s the project of my life, and I’m narrating a world where eternal beings dwell. And I’ll take you by the hand into that world—if you wish.[/p][p]📅 So stay tuned for the next update!   • [p]The next update will also introduce the foundation of houses, which I’ll refine later. You’ll be able to store your money and belongings at home.[/p]

[h2]🗺️ THE MAPS DLC NOW HAS A NEW ADVANTAGE[/h2][p]The Maps DLC isn’t required to play. It’s meant as a way to support the development. But now I’ve added a new perk: maps that show exits between areas, and places that require keys or are blocked.[/p][p]With these new maps, you’ll be able to plan your missions better, and choose your paths more comfortably to reach your goals.[/p][h2]📚 THE BESTIARY[/h2][p]I’ve decided to design it in a style similar to the game, since you’re already familiar with it. It will be an illustrated PDF, with matching background and decorations. It will be a digital DLC.[/p][p]It will contain a catalog of species, cultures, and peoples of the Rift. Each creature will be described with its traits, strengths, weaknesses, and lore and testimonies.[/p][p]This DLC will be optional and supportive of the development. Both you, my dear adventurers, and beta readers have told me I must turn it into a book.[/p][p]So I’m gradually gathering the story, which I’ll expand and unify. I may publish the novel. Most likely, I’ll release it here on Steam, as a support DLC.[/p][p]But this is a side project. The top priority is the game, then the bestiary.
