Lemon Day!

[p]It's Lemon day!
New year, new batch of Lemons!

-> The past few weeks have been a bit more on the lax side so now I'm ramping back up on working on making this update as important as possible

-> We've started working on Animations for the characters for when the game is played in multiplayer

-> A character select system is not only in play but also working to a point where it saves your character preference

-> Currently working on a loading optimization, I've heard a lot of feedback about lag and stutters when you play the first few times so I'll be diving into finally having the game compile shaders when you first load

That's about it for today's Lemon day post but I promise there'll be more news as production ramps back up to 100%!

lmao, a legend of hatred, anyways Haunted Science news!

-> we got a little under 200 whishlists on steam which is great! I'm excited that you're excited!

-> The models for Haunted Science are almost done! This means I gotta work ever so slightly harder on making sure multiplayer works.

-> The map is making so much progress, the new shader works fairly well and it now looks nice and spooky, primed for you to learn how to use the flashlight

-> Speaking of learning, the new Tutorial is so close to being finished.

I'm looking forward to putting out a massive update for you all when it's finally ready, until then please don't stop the feedback from coming, it's been so helpful!

[p]It's Lemon day!
Got some major back end updates for yall.

-> The shader part is 99% done, I have some work to do on the actual level side of things so it's not an eyesore but it's so close I can taste it!

-> Mel can walk! That's right, he now has a walking animation primed for getting all the multiplayer stuff set up. This also means I've worked out how character selection is gonna go and boy am I hyped to put it in the demo sometime 2026

-> The update doesn't have a release date per say because you know I wanna keep it perfect but I know for a fact it's gonna be early 2026 as there'll be a prolonged window in which I'm not allowed to update the demo or release the full game but there'll be more on that soon.

I've also attached a picture of the new breakroom loading screen for yall to have a nice little sneak peak at how the shader has changed the feel of the game.
