Lady Dimitrescu comes to Fallout 4 with this Resident Evil Village mod

Lady Dimitrescu hasn't even hit our PCs yet, and the internet is positively obsessed with the mutant countess. Named Alcina Dimitrescu in full, she's an antagonist in the upcoming horror game Resident Evil Village, standing at 9ft 6in tall and clad in a vintage white and black gown ensemble - and she's been, er, getting fans a little hot under the collar since her first reveal. Such is the gaming world's captivation with her that she's now come to Fallout 4 ahead of her actual debut.

Fallout 4 modder Vtaw has created a very authentic outfit mod based on the good countess, which it seems is based like-for-like on her upcoming appearance in Resident Evil Village (you can get an idea of Lady Dimitrescu in the clip below if you haven't yet been introduced). Her billowing, long-sleeved ivory gown - which looks like it's heavily inspired by 1910s women's fashion - is just as it appears in those gameplay previews and towering bus adverts we've seen so far.

The satin gown cinched at the waist, massive black hat and matching gloves, ornate necklace, and cluster of dark roses pinned to her front - it's a really close match to the real deal.

Fallout 4 cheats and console commands: god mode, freecam and more

Looking for Fallout 4 cheats and console commands? These are a great way of bringing a little order to Boston's nuclear wasteland—well, maybe not order per se, but they can certainly give you a bit more control over the game. Perhaps you want to nab a nice screenshot and need to move the camera to get the best angle, or maybe you want to move yourself through teleportation. Then there's the slightly more noble action of bringing NPCs back to life. Whatever the reason for using them, Fallout 4 cheats make the post-apocalyptic world your oyster...

This Fallout 4 mod gives you a Destiny 2-style ghost

Thanks to the ever-thriving Fallout 4 modding scene, you can pretty much take on the RPG game's post-apocalyptic Commonwealth in whatever way you like. That includes strapping your survivor into some Destiny 2-style armour and tackling rads, raiders, and really bad food like a true Guardian - and now, you can enhance that experience even more with a new Fallout 4 mod that gives you one of the FPS game's ghosts.

Modder ToaZen has posted a new creation to Fallout 4's slice of Nexus Mods which brings Destiny ghosts to Bethesda's open-world game. It's not clear from the description whether it functions in any way, other than being a great prop to sit at your Fallout 4 Guardian's shoulder, but it certainly looks the part. This particular shell is modelled on Destiny's Timeswept ghost variant - a legendary version, which was introduced with the shooter's ninth season and is part of the Sundial gear set.

The ghost is pretty distinctive, with a cream-hued shell and pointy gold prongs - and the Fallout 4 version is totally faithful to Bungie's design. It takes up slot 55 (the ones for belts, hip-weapons, and satchels) and can be crafted using the chemistry workbench.

Rise of the Commonwealth returns for Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2

Fallout 4's Sim Settlements mod has brought the joy of city-building games to Bethesda's RPG for years, and the recent Sim Settlements 2 has made the experience even bigger and better. Yet it launched without some of the expansions that came to the original mod over time - but now they're coming back with the new launch of Rise of the Commonwealth.

The original Rise of the Commonwealth added automated building for Sim Settlements, allowing you to put NPCs in charge of constructing the settlements of your choice. That feature is in Sim Settlements 2 by default, but the new version of the mod was missing RoC's original levelled city plans, which have now been restored.

Rise of the Commonwealth for Sim Settlements 2 is available on Nexus Mods, and it adds "36 upgradeable city plans" which cover "every vanilla and DLC settlement". The plans will, of course, support the new features of Sim Settlements 2, and the new release includes plans for Boston Airport and Spectacle Island, as well.
