Version V0.0600 - Ready for Next Fest

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]Version 0.0600 is now live, and with it, the demo is officially ready for October Steam Next Fest. This update is almost entirely based on your feedback from playtesting, so huge thanks to everyone who took the time to test and share their thoughts.[/p]
What's New in 0.0600:
[p]Demo Extended[/p]
 • [p]Increased demo length from 4 to 6 game days (50% more gameplay!)[/p]
 • [p]Based on tester feedback that 4 days wasn't enough time to really explore the systems[/p]
 • [p]However, difficulty stays ramped up so you will likely be crushed[/p]
[p]Quality of Life Improvements

[/p]
 • [p]Added resource context aids and intake statistics so you can better understand what's happening with your economy[/p]

 • [p]New tile variants for more visual variety[/p]

 • [p]Various focus and UI bugs squashed[/p]
Thank You & Feedback Request
[p]To everyone who's already tried the demo - thank you! Your feedback has been invaluable in making this better. I'm a solo dev working on my first game, and every piece of feedback helps me understand what's working and what needs improvement.[/p][p]If you haven't tried it yet, the demo is available now through the playtest feature on the Steam page.[/p][p]I'd love to hear your thoughts:[/p]
 • [p]Is the tutorial clear enough?[/p]
 • [p]Is the balance between expansion and defending against corruption feeling right?[/p]
 • [p]Anything confusing or frustrating?[/p]
[p]You can leave feedback here in the discussions, or just drop a comment on this post. All feedback welcome - the good, the bad, and the ugly 😅[/p][p]
Thanks for being part of this journey.

Version 0.0550: Weather System

[p]Hey settlers![/p][p]The skies above your settlements are no longer static.[/p]
⛈️ Weather System Implemented
[p]Version 0.0550 introduces dynamic weather—lightning storms crack across the horizon, clouds roll in, and rain falls over your voxel world. It's an early implementation that needs refinement, but the visual impact is already substantial.[/p][p]What's working:[/p]
 • [p]Lightning storms illuminate corruption in dramatic flashes[/p]
 • [p]Cloudy days add atmospheric variation[/p]
 • [p]Rain creates visual depth and mood[/p]
[p]What's coming:[/p]
 • [p]Tighter VFX polish on lightning strikes[/p]
 • [p]Weather-responsive gameplay elements (spells affecting weather, and weather affecting settlers and monsters)[/p]
 • [p]More weather variety and transitions[/p]
[p]This system does more than look pretty—it reinforces the dark fantasy atmosphere. Watching lightning strike as corruption spreads toward your settlement, rain falling on the lives you're about to sacrifice... it all makes the world feel more alive. And more hostile.[/p]

[p]Next Fest is 8 days away. Every update brings the demo closer to the experience we want to showcase. The weather system is rough around the edges, but it's already transforming how Eurekas feels to play.[/p][p]— Ubben Ubben Studios[/p]
