v0.43 - Equipment Rework, New glove stat

[p]v0.42 is released~[/p][p][/p][h3]Equipment Rework[/h3][p][/p][p]Equipment stats for Gold%, EXP%, HP%, MP%, Regen% and Damage% used to be additive. These did not scale into late game when skills and passives make up more of your %stats.[/p][p]Thus, those stats have now been made multiplicative![/p][p]Instead of a flat +150% damage from Ancient Armor, you now get x2.5 damage. This makes equipment more rewarding and allows you to push through later zones.[/p][p]Meanwhile in the early game, +10% damage from +0% still gives you x1.1 damage.[/p][p]Only the regen% had to be lowered to fit the new mechanics, as they were temporarily buffed a few patches ago until they could be made multiplicative. As such, updating will result in lower numbers for the Pants and Cape but overall better regen values. All other stat percentage bonuses have been kept the same in this transition.[/p][p]Additionally, Epic T2 and above gloves now give you an extra line: Extra hit% chance![/p][p][/p][h3]Main Menu companions[/h3][p]The main menu now populates with more of your companions as you acquire them.[/p][p][/p][h3]Ascension history[/h3][p]Ascension history statistics now shows online and offline duration upon hovering over playtime.[/p][p][/p][h3]Coming soon: Stat Tooltips[/h3][p]I have also reworked stat tooltips which will be available in a future update with the updated changes so it will be accurate too.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Changelog:[/h3][p][/p]

This is a feature that allows you to gain experience and growth stats as you defeat monsters and bosses in the full version![/p][p][/p][p]I will share more about the EXP system in a future post![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Meanwhile, I thought it would be cool to show off some of the companions that help you gain experience in the full version![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]There are 3 new companions that help you gain experience![/p][p][/p][h3]An unusual axolotl[/h3][p]This game would not be complete without an axolotl. I hope I spelt it right, or everyone is going to have a wild ride when playing. A game set in the ocean definitely must include. It grants the 'Epiphany' buff, a new buff with extra high cooldown but increases EXP gain for a short duration.[/p][p][/p][h3]Stingray or Alienray?[/h3][p]A stingray that was outcast for its outlandish colour....is it actually an alien? Nobody knows.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]A seacat?[/h3][p]And last but not least, Seacat! v0.40 - New skill: Shell care!

New passive: Shell Care!
[p][/p][p]HP regen has been a bottleneck in early game and if you don't unlock the overpowered 'Dolphin Blessing' skill, you tend to struggle much more. So I will introduce a skill that will increase HP regen passively. Since this is a passive, the effect is weaker than the dolphin blessing buff.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This one mainly affects the full version content that I am working on, but also improves offline progress eventually: When adding Treasure Seeker and Jackpot, they did not increase the average gold gained, which often under-valued your gold gain in late game from offline progress, so this has been rectified! [/p][p][/p][p]A few changes have been made to the demo. I also fixed a bug where typing a savefile name (added back in v0.35) triggers shortcut keys to buy attributes.[/p][p][/p][p]Full changelog below:[/p][p][/p][h3]Content[/h3]

[p][/p][p]New skill: Continuous clicks[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This allows you to hold to click enemies, without having to stress your fingers, and upgrading the skill makes it click faster.[/p][p]This update also introduces several improvements to the early game progression, such as having Lv 0 INT and VIT enhancements unlock at Level 50 instead of 100, making the first upgrade cost about 10% of its current cost.
