Patch Notes for 2025-09-13

  • Undead miners in the mineshaft now have mining behaviours
  • Doubled the number of enemies in the mineshaft
  • Undead miners now have randomized clothing colors so they are more unique
  • Fixed an issue where food weight could be duplicated by crafting raw ingredients (i.e., a soup could weigh more than the food it was crafted from)
  • Fixed an issue with not being able to make character names that are only 1 character long; character names must be a minimum of 1 character and may not contain numbers, but this was prevented and could cause a popup saying an allowed name was actually not allowed
  • Reduced the shadow sample scale for volumetric clouds
  • Increased the light update degree threshold for directional lighting

Patch Notes (II) for 2025-09-12

- Fixed known issues with escape key causing loss of input for some widgets when escape menu is open
- Picking up items now learns recipes (no longer required to mouse over them in inventory to discover)

Patch Notes for 2025-09-12

- Fixed an issue with AI behaviours near work action locations
- AIs could sometimes become stuck and enter passive actions (e.g., sitting down) while far away from those location actions (e.g., chairs) causing them to float or do other weird behaviours
- A potential fix has been shipped which should prevent AIs from performing action animations when too far from the appropriate locations
- Added NavLink to the Weak ancient skeleton to prevent him from potentially becoming stuck if knocked up onto the throne
- Input is now locked during ladder on/off transitions, prevent a bug where the player could fall off of ladders by spamming keys during climbing
- Increased the weight capacity of backpacks to match the recent increase in volume capacity
- You can now shoot arrows through the gaps in iron grates (e.g., in the Tutorial area)
- Tutorial potions are now explicitly labelled as tutorial items, to encourage people to use them rather than to hold onto them for later without testing them

Known Issues:
- There are some bug reports related to hits not registering but I have not been able to reproduce them. Any new information related to damage failing to register on hit is welcome so that I can attempt to isolate the issue.
- There are some known performance issues caused by weather transitions. I am investigating the problem currently and will hopefully be able to isolate and fix the problem at some point.

Notes for 2025-09-11

  • Fixed an issue with a side quest trigger
  • Fixed some issues with various food stack sizes
  • Fixed typos in some item descriptions
  • The tutorial wind step potion is now explicitly labeled "tutorial potion"
  • Fixed an area where the Donkey could potentially become stuck in Gravenstaad
  • The homestead permanent storage containers (Dresser and Shelf) will now properly render custom depth pass
  • The walls in the Bandit Keep should now correctly block weather particles
  • Fixed issues with the Barlow's Keep Navmesh that could prevent AIs from following you through doorways

Notes for 2025-09-10

  • - It is no longer possible to drag/drop items into non-inventory crafters, causing them to be dropped or disappear
  • A new notification now instructs the player if they are attempting to use a crafter incorrectly
  • Added a volume slider for Weather-related SFX
  • Pickles and some other foods can now stack
  • Added more stackable food spawns throughout the tutorial dungeon
  • Reduced the difficulty of the Weak Ancient Skeleton in the Tutorial area
  • Increased the capacity of the basic backpack to 14x14
  • Increased the capacity of the upgraded backpacks to 16x16
  • Removed the recipes for basic peasant clothing from the demo
  • Interaction vision (Q) has been renamed


Known Issues: Boss Health Bars may sometimes not disappear properly after dying in Combat to them.
