31st January - Patch Fix

[p]Many apologies, something broke with the earlier patch and we had to do a server wipe

From testing AI were not spawning, so this small patch addresses that

I will need to update servers again, so we will be back up and live again shortly!

31st January Patch Notes - 1st Person Added, Map & Mini-Map Overhaul

[p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]Optimized AI and disabled cloth simulation causing multiple logs to appear server side and potentially cause a fatal error[/p][p]Fixed a potential crash with texture streaming going over budget in shipping, applied a setting which overrides engine settings.[/p][p]Optimized and adjusted AI spawn system which occasionally caused a Fatal Error & crash when exiting the game (Still monitoring)[/p][p]Fixed an issue when dragging an equipped item from Armor panel to Inventory while holding Left Mouse and Right Mouse simultaneously. The Armour Icon would get stuck to the mouse cursor and not able to remove without logging out and back into game[/p][p]Adjusted Navigation mesh to optimize & improve AI pathing[/p][p]Adjusted Texture resolutions based on Video Settings and capped limits to reduce potential Fatal Errors[/p][p]Optimized character Hair strands & Skin textures to reduce GPU load[/p][p]Added Storage Chest to plot pole to activate permissions and block access to unauthorized players[/p][p]Lowered spawn height of players respawning at Bed

1st Person[/p][p]Enabled 1st person as it has been requested multiple times.[/p][p]DISCLAIMER - 1st Person needs a lot of work, animations are not ideal and you may encounter issues which need to be reported[/p][p]1st Person mode is a feature that will be in the final game, however it needs additional development time and will be worked on and improved over time[/p][p][/p][p]World Map & Mini-Map UI[/p][p]Complete overhaul and change of the Map & Minimap System[/p][p]This allows players to set up to 5 x Custom Markers that will display on World Map, Mini-Map and Compass[/p][p]Added a World Map and Mini Map Marker that will spawn on Player Tombstone on Death making it easier to retrieve loot. The marker is visible to all, so be careful in PvP zones[/p][p]Added the Ability to Set a Marker on Plot Pole after placing. Interact with the Plotpole to set the Base Location. (Only Visible to Player and others that can access the Plot Pole)[/p][p]Updated World Map & Minimap image to higher resolution. Many reported issues of players being yeeted across the map while riding Tree Trunks! Looked fun, not practical[/p]

25th January Update & Patch Notes

[p]Bug Fixes[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a Crash when player dies falling from height. Added additional code and checks as the world calculates fall speed and tries to adjust location, sometimes the respawn code fires in a different order causing the crash due to latency and location adjustments.[/p]
  • [p]Shotgun - Removed projectile hit trace when firing (Green/Red lines). This was enabled while making adjustments to projectile spread, damage and distance. Now disabled and not visible. Apologies for leaving this active in the previous build[/p]
  • [p]Ranged Weapon Repair - Repairing a weapon now doesn't remove the attachments and ammo, they save correctly on log out with the attachments, durability and loaded ammo correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Ranged Weapon Chest Storage - Placing a Loaded weapon with attachments into a storage chest now saves the weapon with attachments, durability and loaded ammo. When you log out and back in, everything is as you left it[/p]
  • [p]Removed Garage model from placing a wooden wall.[/p]
  • [p]Removed the ground trace calculations from Wooden Wall and Gate[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted collision area for placing Wooden Wall and Wooden Gate, they can now be placed closer together.[/p]
  • [p]Added Placement collision to Wooden Gate, other buildings could be placed through and snap inside[/p]
  • [p]Fixed AK47 holstered location on players back, it no longer floats at Player's feet when unequipped[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a potential crash on AMD GPU - Zombie Police had the wrong setting for Cloth Physics and was applying NVidia PhysX-based clothing simulation, changed cloth physics to use UE5 newer Cloth Physics system.[/p]

  • [p]Added Small Wooden Hut to Player Crafting. Players can now build a full building with door from start instead of needing to build crafting benches.[/p]
  • [p]Added BBQ recipe to Crafting Bench[/p]
  • [p]Changed Wood Burning time for Campfire & BBQ to 30s per Wood Log

You can connect directly from Steam/Game Server Browser or in-Game from the Lobby Menu by selecting Server Browser, then click to connect directly
