Starting on August 22, you’ll be able to earn a major bonus to your next Gold purchase (even a truly massive one, like 80 percent) by participating in the Scavenger Run event.


In other words, in case you win such a bonus and buy 1.000 Gold, you’ll receive 1.800 Gold instead. And that can make one hell of a difference (please note, however, that the maximum amount of bonus Gold obtainable this way is 10.000 Gold).


Scavenger Run is, in its core, a very simple event. There are many ruined and abandoned objects across the world of Armored Warfare and your friendly neighborhood arms dealer ran across one of them.


You are now being hired to scout it out. On a small map, you choose one of three bases and then scout its three warehouses by clicking on them. Depending on your finds (determined randomly), you will receive a sizeable bonus to your next Gold purchase.


This event will be active for several days (the counter in Garage will always tell you how much time is left), so if you’re planning to stock on Gold for the next Battle Path or simply want to boost your progress right now, it’s the perfect opportunity to do so.

[p]Between August 21, 2025 and August 28, 2025, the following items will be available:[/p][p][/p][h2]Lynx Skyranger[/h2][p][/p][p]This is a version of the cutting edge Lynx platform but instead of the standard IFV configuration, it utilizes the Skyranger HEL turret to create a short-range anti-aircraft vehicle that can also eliminate drone swarms with ease. This configuration was proposed for the recent Hungarian military upgrade program but never built in real life. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Lynx Skyranger is a Tier 10 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. It’s best used as a scout killer but it is capable of other roles as well. It features three rather unusual abilities, such as the programmable HE ammunition that explodes above targets, the Starstreak missiles that deal more damages over larger distances and ignore APS, and the High Energy Laser active ability. When activated, the laser blinds enemy targets, significantly reducing their spotting range. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Ajax[/h2][p][/p][p]The Ajax is the most modern British Infantry Fighting Vehicle currently in service. Despite being plagued by developmental problems, the program to replace the aging Warrior IFV produced one of the best vehicles in its class. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Ajax is a Tier 10 Premium AFV featuring solid protection levels and excellent sustained firepower. Furthermore, it can deploy Mechanized Infantry like other AFVs of its class and has a special ability that allows it to better detect enemies at closer ranges.[/p][p]The Ajax Tier 10 Premium AFV is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Boxer CRV[/h2][p][/p][p]The Boxer CRV is the Infantry Fighting Vehicle variant of the Boxer platform, featuring a cutting edge turret with 30mm autocannon and guided missiles. It is a truly next-gen IFV with orders coming from all over the world, most notably from Australia and Germany. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Boxer CRV is a Tier 9 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. It is one of the best IFVs in its class, offering a combination of solid mobility and great firepower, including Mechanized Infantry deployment and the dreaded double-launch ATGM feature.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Otomatic[/h2][p][/p][p]The Otomatic was an attempt from the 1980s and 1990s to mate originally naval 76mm rapid-firing cannon with a tracked chassis (either of Palmaria or a Leopard) to create an advanced anti-aircraft gun. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Otomatic a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Thanks to its fast-firing 76mm gun it can deal tremendous amounts of damage over short periods of time and can deal effectively with any target it encounters on the battlefield.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Gepard[/h2][p][/p][p]The Gepard is one of the best short-range anti-aircraft self-propelled guns in the world. Made primarily for Germany and the Netherlands, it remains in active use to this day and has recently seen some combat in Ukraine. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Gepard a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. Unlike the Otomatic, it relies not on a single larger gun, but on the hailstorm of shells provided by its two 35mm autocannons. [p]Between August 19 and August 26, 2025, the following items will be available:[/p][p][/p][h2]Type 99A2-140[/h2][p][/p][p]The Type 99A2-140 is an experimental version of the most advanced Chinese Main Battle Tank in existence – the Type 99A. Unlike its production counterpart, however, it is not armed with a 125mm smoothbore, but massive 140mm smoothbore cannon. This is a theoretical upgrade to the vehicle – while the People’s Republic of China was considering upgrading the firepower of its Main Battle Tanks to face latest western and Russian MBT models, a 140mm gun was never installed on this chassis and was only mentioned in passing by certain Chinese sources. Now, however, your enemies will have the opportunity to experience what such a vehicle with you in command would be like to face in battle![/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Type 99A2-140 is a rather unique Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is essentially a version of the progression Type 99A2 Tier 10 MBT with one difference – the 140mm gun, trading its rate of fire for penetration and single shell damage. It is very fast and mobile (with its maximum speed being well over 90 km/h), protected by ERA and APS both and capable of using an acceleration-boosting active ability that pushes its engine far beyond the limits of common Main Battle Tanks. If used right, the vehicle is extremely deadly and one of the best Tier 10 MBTs on the battlefields of Armored Warfare.[/p][p]The Type 99A2-140 MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Using sophisticated electronics and crystalline steel armor, this tank is more than a match for any enemy that would threaten the islands of Japan. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Type 10 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. What puts it apart from the other MBTs of its Tier is its special NERA armor. This highly-mobile MBT starts every battle well-armored, but the protection levels decrease with every shot taken. Additionally, this MBT features a special system that tells you the exact chance to penetrate your target. Overall, it’s one of the most powerful MBTs of its Tier and certainly a good choice for players, who prefer rapid action to slow advances.[/p][p]The Type 10 Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. During the Polish-Soviet War, the communists ultimately wanted to capture the entirety of Poland but were instead soundly defeated by the forces of Marshal Józef Piłsudski in what is commonly referred to as the Miracle of the Vistula.
