Development update

Hello!
I've updated the testing branch build of the game. I would like to introduce some of the changes:

Suspension railways:
Suspension railways are using a new collision system now. These now block exactly one tile and should correctly wait for other Suspension railway cars.


Visual quality update:
Most 3D models in the game now have gradient textures.


Snow system:
Originally I wanted to create scenario maps that would offer their own special content, such as new industries and special environmental conditions. I discarded the idea of ​​creating scenario maps. The snow system is a remnant that can now be activated as an option in the Custom Game Start.


I've made changes to the road construction system. This can lead to problems with old savegames. I recommend starting a new game.

In addition, I fixed numerous errors and problems. I will communicate all changes soon with the update of the default branch.

How do I get the testing branch build?
Select Transports in your game library and open the properties window. There you will find a beta tab where the testing branch can be selected.

Soft shadows can now be switched on for the game in the settings.

I've added settings for the light. These can be defined in the theme.



GUI changes
I updated the design of the GUI and added sounds.

I've replaced the compendium with small help guides. Brief, step-by-step introductions can be found there.



Ambient objects
Ambient objects can now be placed at the cursor position.

I've updated the default branch for Transports with the latest changes!

- station blocklist
- fixed a problem with the delivery of goods to stations
